Okay, hang on. I need to know where Skipper is exactly before the end of this round. If I can get to Morrolan with a single move, I can Breath of Life him with my first aid gloves. Slin, is that feasible?

By my understanding of where we are in rounds, Skipper has already spent 3 move actions (1 move, one double move) trying to get closer to Morrolan, so I think I SHOULD be able to get to him on this one.

Yeah. I was gonna tell you guys after but these are wasps summoned with Summon Monster V (hence 3 of them) with Augment Summoning and Fiendish Template. I didn't even have them smite good you as Aglorn was not able to see you and wouldn't know you were good. The wolverines got to sorta smite the pally though.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can single move up to Morrolan. You're still 70 feet below that level. A double move will get you 60 feet up. Yeah, this layout is tough with the party split.

Round 4 - Skipper double moved so he's 10 feet below the level that Morrolan is at.

If I'm 10 feet below him vertically, on right now, then, depending where I am horizontally on the map, I can get to him before BOL is no longer an option, since I only need 20 feet of a 60' move action to clear that last 10' vertical, right? Unless that's what you meant by "you'll get there next round".

Anyway, I'm being slammed at this orientation right now and don't know when I can next check the boards. Suffice to say that, if it's at all possible Skipper gets to Morrolan before BOL's one-round-window expires, Skipper will try and do that, taking whatever attacks of opportunity he might incur. If he can't, then, well, he can't. If so, I'm really sorry, Morrolan, I should have gotten airborne sooner to come try and help you. :-\

Skipper darts through the air with the greatest of ease! Or at least with a high degree of urgency!

"Sinashakti! Don't let this valiant dwarf's journey be over so soon!" he pleads to his god.

Zipping around the wasps, he comes in for a landing and slaps both gloved hands down on Morrolan's sturdy chest. "CLEAR!"

BOL Heal*: 5d8 + 9 ⇒ (8, 6, 4, 1, 2) + 9 = 30 Boom.

All five sapphires on one of the gloves lose their lustrous light, and crumble to dust, but Skipper doesn't care-- he looks only at Morrolan's chest, to see if it starts rising and falling again.

(*Caster level for the gloves is 9, hence +9, not +7)

(True story: I was once at -72 HP while playing Eyes of the Ten. Party managed to bring me back with three castings of BOL in one round.)

Skipper beams as he sees Morrolan survive, even as Roart brings down the wasp in definitive fashion. He only bobs his head with a grin at Morrolan's words.

"No repayment needed! The joy is in the journeying. And the helping! Good work, everyone!"

Skipper hurriedly moves from person to person, seeing to any injuries as he can.

Skipper would either need to use your wand, or his own spells/wand, to get you initially conscious, so why not have the cure serious I would have thrown on you if I'd gotten there earlier, and save a few charges? Not like it costs me any resources. :P If GM Slin is okay with that revision, anyway.

'Paying':
Eh, don't even feel bad about it. I play a healer: this falls under the things I consider part of my responsibility and what I bring to the party. Besides, it was gloves, not a scroll-- if I'd used a scroll, I wouldn't have had the free move action to draw it that I would have needed to heal you. :P But this exactly why I invested in the gloves, so I consider it GP well spent!

Skipper stands up, brushing off his hands and looking around. Logain's words make him nod slowly, glancing around for signs of the two battling tiny creatures, but in his heart, Skipper is just as happy to not have to deal with Teenoch again.

"Well, we've secured the portal, I imagine. We should check Aglorn's body over for anything the Society may find useful-- perhaps he has notes on the nature of the portal... Is anyone else still injured?"

Skipper drifts away from the bridge and does a few looping circles in the air. Out of every gift Sinashakti has given him, the gift of flight is the one he has to admit he likes best of all.

Jakarno, if one of you successfully scribes a scroll into a book it is used up. But then another can copy it from your book. But I don't need them anyway.
So far in 6 levels, my magus has found exactly 1 spell that he could learn in a scenario.
