The gillman doesn't react at all when Theadric starts singing, and neither does he react when the others ask questions. Even when Theadric starts yelling about Absalom, the gillman doesn't react.

As some seem intend on making contact:

Those who have their questions ignored move over to the gillman, and S'arkee gives the man a soft poke against his shoulder. The gillman then turns around, and listens to the repeated questions.

The gillman frowns a bit when Xien speaks, but his expression softens when addressed by S'arkee. You notice the gillman look at your lips when you speak.

Is anyone wearing that cloak of resistance?

If anyone is: DC 15 Sense Motive:
You can tell that the gillman is eyeing the cloak with interest.

DC 15 Perception:
You can see the gillman’s own folded robe is of a similar style and color as the cloak you found in the pit.

"My name's Uori," the gillman says with a voice much like the croaking of a frog. "Sure, I'm willing to answer some questions. And go ahead studying the carvings."

"This place is a site sacred to us gillmen. It was once sacred to Aroden, the dead god of humanity, as well, but over the past century, the carvings in the nearby room have weathered and melted. Soon, Aroden’s influence will have faded completely."

"However, other creatures have invaded these caves and are not so polite as you... If only they'd leave this sacred place..."

S'arkee listens to the Gillman and nods understandingly.

"We would be glad to remove these creatures from this place, but first I'd like to know how you honour him in this land." he smiles and then looks over the Gillman curiously before asking "Do you speak the ancient Azlanti tongue? I have studied the culture all too well."

Azlanti:
"Please excuse my friend. He is not as civil as you or I, but that would be needed for removing these creatures."

Think I asked, but no one said yes or no so S'arkee should be wearing it, but has no problem handing it back to the gillman if he wants it.

Dark Archive

After the gillman speaks Silas'ra relaxes a little bit and moves up to join the others.

Bowing slightly to the gillman he asks, "What can you tell us about these invaders - which tunnel do they inhabit?"

From the back of his pony, Hood continues examining the model of Absalom.

"Let's see...tight rope blind-folded over the market, then uphill between the castle and the city walls here! Oooh, I wonder if we could carve this model out of the cave and take it back! I could really use this!!!"

@S'arkee: That's up to you. Hand it over if you think you should.

"I do not honor dead human god Aroden, not do I speak Azlanti," Uori answers. "I come to this holy site to listen to the holy waters. As you perhaps saw earlier, I do this by kneeling in the water and placing an ear against it."

Boderus notices the similarities between Uori's robe, and the cloak the party found. "I was alone, yes."

"You can see a tunnel on both the eastern and western sides of this holy water. Vile creatures lurk on both sides."

Theadric's comment about carving out the miniature city seems to shock Uori. "You wouldn't actually do such a thing, would you?"

The gillman looks from Theadric to S'arkee, a look of confusion in his eyes.

"I too would like to know why they are sacred to you." he smiles towards the Gillman.

"To understand these holy waters and their significance is not something to be taking lightly. It is not possible for me to relay what the waters tell me. If you wish to find out what the waters have to say to you, then you will have to listen to the waters yourselves."

Uori smiles at S'arkee. "Perhaps we can make a trade."

He takes a wand from his robe, and shows it to S'arkee. "This is a wand of shield of faith, with ten charges remaining. You can have it, and keep it, if I can have the cloak. I will then keep the cloak with me as you deal with the creatures."

OK, if you don't know anything else about the lurking creatures we can just proceed towards one tunnel and investigate. I suggest starting with the eastern side. We probable can document this walls first. Can you explain us what have been of your race in the lasts centuries Uori?

"If you've investigated those," Uori says, pointing at the carvings the party observed earlier. "I think you've seen all the carvings. There are only four left that are somewhat understandable."

At the question about the gillmen Uori just smiles. "Good luck! I'll be waiting here."

Place yourselves in a marching order at the eastern tunnel, and I'll move you forward like that.

While the others decide on a marching order, Boderus does a bit of scouting.

Boderus:
The cave’s damp air becomes increasingly stale as you continue down through this tunnel. As you approach to a new area, the stench of decay grows increasingly evident. The passage turns to the east and opens into a small cavern littered with bits of broken glass, rotting pieces of paper, and other unusable detritus. The body of a male dhampir lies face down toward the back of the cavern.

You're able to spot two gillmen skeletons, and two gillmen zombies. Just before you turns around to head back, you spot a concealed passage in the northern wall of the new area.

Boderus returns in one piece and unnoticed.

Silas'ra is also hurt by the red zombie.

Filled with joy over the action, Theadric attacks with his lance. The lance passes through his target, and comes back out without dealing noteworthy damage. The hoof of his pony hits the zombie in front of it, but also fails to deal damage.

S'arkee doesn't know a lot about undead, but he knows the basics: skeletons don't like bludgeoning weapons, and and zombies don't like slashing weapons. Other weapons deal less damage to them.

After recalling this info, and sharing it with the others, S'arkee casts bless.

Boderus turns around and starts attacking the red target with a wide grin.

If the target dies from the first attack he will redirect his second attack on the skeleton.

Seemingly more interested in poking at the creatures than actually harming them, Hood stabs at it with his lance while his pony pummels it with its hoofs.

He dodges to each side in dramatic fashion, making each of his moves look the most difficult and death-defying by getting extra close to the creature's teeth and claws.

He continues singing his song as he fights.

"I never spend much time in school
But I taught ladies plenty.

Xien shouts at the halfling "Theadric! You need to use a bludgeoning weapon against the bag of bones! Haven't you assisted to the weaponry lessons in the Society?"

Boderus takes out the zombies, and then rips off one of the skeleton's ribs.

Silas'ra tries to harm to skeleton, but doesn't land a hit. He then makes room for Xien, who smashes the skeleton into tiny bits.

Combat's over!

While the skeleton falls apart, Theadric dances and jumps around on his pony. He looks darn dashing doing so.

Among the fallen bodies, you find a note written by the dhampir that details plans to start an army of undead made from the "fish people" who have been frequenting this cave.

You also find an amulet of natural armor +1, and a ring of protection +1.

Boderus points out a concealed hidden passage in the northern wall, which he spotted earlier when scouting ahead.

Will you go through the (no longer) hidden passage, or will you go back and into the other tunnel?

After registering the room to find everything Xien picks up the natural armor amulet saying "I can do good use of that if you don't mind. " and offers the ring to the others.

"About where to continue, I am ok with whatever way as long as we end up exploring everything." and that said, the nagaji follows Boldreous at a prudential distance and making an effort to be stealthy.

Hood looks at the secret passage, a large grin on his face.

"Let me tell you about Hood's first rule of secret passages: Number 1: Always take the secret passage!" He looks very excited.

"You guys did pretty good back there! I do need to give you some feedback on that battle, though, to help make it more fun in the future. For example, you could try to stab a skeleton with something sharp instead of hitting it with a mace...that's just boring. Or maybe with the zombies, don't just cut them apart with a sword...try to stab them with a dagger! It will last a lot longer, and you can see how close you can get to them or something. Oh, oh! Or we could burn them next time! Fire makes everything more fun! "

Xien places the unclaimed ring in one finger.

The loyal and reliable nagaji looks deep and serious to the chaotic and unreliable halfling and then says "Fire is ok, but try again those uneficient tactics and I will have to report to the Venture-Captain. This is no more training Greyhood. Here our lives depends on each other. I don't like seeing how you play with the others life." Xien looks to the front, picks up his trident from the now unanimated bones and takes the passage. "My life is at your hands Greyhood. Have it in mind while you fight."

Boderus scouts ahead, but doesn't see much this time. He returns to the party, and you venture forth together.

You move through a maze of tight passages that include steep ascents and short climbs as they wind from west to east. As you travel, you can hear the sounds of a distant battle echoing through the caves, intermixed with inspirational tales of famous Pathfinders and the heroic deeds told by a familiar female voice.

As you head for the sound you hear, you pass through some tight tunnels that range from 2 to 5 feet in width and average about 9 feet in height. The slick floors and steady incline from west to east would make using acrobatics quite hard.

In front of the party, a blue-green cube of jelly pops up from around a corner.

I have forgotten about the injuries. Can I make some wand healing for all of us assuming we made it after the undead combat?
I understand is our responsibility to keep track of that, so I would understand you say no.
