On his turn,
Escape artist: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Eralathan moves up and spreads his palms, sending a jet of flame towards the gorilla and tree.
Spend 1 point to boost CL, reflex DC 16 to half. Might get an AoO although I think he already swiped Marock
Burning hands: 3d4 ⇒ (3, 1, 4) = 8
End of turn reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

And here comes the cue the tree is a rare protected species...
As Erlathan starts casting, the tree quickly turns into a small monkey.
David: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Goliath: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
The small monkey is seared for 8, but the gorilla evades the most of it.

Botting.
Selethe tries breaking free.
Str check DC 12: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13, and she manages to break free.
With the difficult terrain, she moves 5 feet away. As per move action.
2nd reflex, end of turn: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5, but she becomes entangled again.

Marock & Selethe, a DC 12 will save for your weapons please.
If you don't pass, your weapon is affected by warp wood.

Does Yanda see the man atop the pinnacle casting spells? It sure seems like he is with animals appearing, an entangle spell, and warp wood. Real druidic stuff going down here!

He's a dang druid. I just know it. And he's doing that magical beast form spell casting mumbo jumbo. Boy do I want to bomb him!

Will power save (Weapon): 1d20 ⇒ 20 Not exactly sure how this works. Is the willpower save off of Marock's save? or made with no modifier?
After rgaining his footing from the massive blow of the ape, Marock enchants his hammer with the blessing of earth. On command the hammer begins to sizzle with an acidic green coating that leaves a distinguishable scent in the air. Soon after the hammer becomes infused with acid, the Warpriest brings it down into a powerful overhead swing, destined for the large primate.
(Swift action) Bless weapon with acid, (Standard action) Attack the ape.

"Marock! Marock! Marock!" Erlathan chants as he watches the gorilla nearly fall with Marock's mighty strike. "Can I call you Invincible Marock? Badass Marock? Something to give you a little personality, you know? You can use all the help you can get, really." He says that last part as quietly as he can.

Brax struggles to get free of the vines.

Does he provoke with the Gorilla down? Shouldn't he aim elsewhere now that it is down? I'm confused.

![]() |

I want to point out that earlier, in an above post, I said I couldn't move Brax to where I wanted in the room due to being on my phone and the entanglement was all I could grab instead of his token. I had wanted to move him safely away from the gorilla's range of attack prior to entering the room. I'll let you rule on that Chyrone, but that was my intent prior to entering the room. If it provokes, Brax will instead move after freeing himself away from the melee.

Chyrone |

Granted, but entangle makes for difficult terrain.
With the gorilla having moved before you, there wasn't a clear way to get outside of 10 feet, and light the tindertwig.
The reflex result didn't help either. :/
-----
As the gorilla won't take it, the Tik Taan are largely influencing the primates here, i've moved you to the south, where you have a clearer view of the gorilla. The square is marked with a red circle.
Speaking of burning sticks...since the difficult terrain is made of grass dry enough to make huts from.....add 1 burning tindertwig.....let's call 3 rounds for the square to burn properly, and spreading 5 feet adjacent radius every 2 rounds after that.
1 round's action will douse a flame, or add water will work.

Yanda, once again finding herself with no good targets (dang! I have the recipe for Bomber's Eye!
