PFS Game Day #3: GM Silbeg's 6-05: Slave Ships of Absalom (Inactive)

Sorry... too many things going on... finishing our adventure up now.

Adeah's shot takes the captain right between the eyes, dropping her instantly. The team rushes by the fallen captain, into the cabin she came out of. By the time they get in their, they find a fire of documents in a small brazier. Try as they might, they are not able to rescue the documents, but find a small corner of charred letter signed "Muhlia".

The team secures the ship, and the pilot, Zigil, pilots the ship into the harbor, where city officials take custody of the ship.

On the way back, the Pathfinders check over the bodies of the fallen crew, and find a variety of items, including the keys to the manacles, several magic items, etc. These will be on your chronicles

The Pathfinders have the chance to talk to Rilla, the freed gnome druid, and do else they their mission has for them.

hint, you should probably report back to Lady Darchana

"Well, all things considered, that went well. We should probably go inform Lady Darchana of what has transpired. " Mikail turns to the gnome. "Would you mind joining us? The Lady may have some questions that only you might have the answers to."

"I couldn't have said it better, Mikail. We've saved a ship of slaves and took down an outlaw. I guess it's time to report to the higher ups." He laughs a little at his height joke as he helps the gnome, Rilla, with any wounds she may have.

Thorson turns to Rilla after the battle's conclusion and asks her, "So how did these slaving bastards get ahold of you Rilla? Is there anything about them that you can tell us?"

Rilla answers Thorson in a somewhat subdued manner. "My adventuring party was ambushed when investigating a rumor on Stonespire Island. We were attacked by over a dozen gnolls and humans while we slept. I don't know what happened to them... maybe Venture-Captain Valsin can scry for them?" When he later tries this, he just shakes his head, and says "No contact." "While I was there, I was interviewed several times by a heavily veiled humanoid woman who forcibly took blood samples from me on two occasions. I was there for a few weeks before being thrown onto this ship, shacked, and gagged. I am very thankful for you freeing me, and I hope that we can become fast friends! Perhaps, if the stars are aligned, we might even adventure together at some time!"

When you arrive at Lady Darchana's house, she asks you, politely to let her know what you have done, and what you have learned. She has the bounty payment for Captain Wardack and the At Sea authorized, which will be delivered to you at the Grand Lodge (725gp, which is part of your chronicle gold)

Once you have brought her up to speed (Please go ahead and give your report, I am jumping ahead slightly just to finish things up.), she says, "Pathfinders, you have done a great service to Absalom today. The full extent, understandably, may never be widely known or recognized by the sleeping masses, but know that the Pathfinder Society can count on me as a friend and ally, and I hope that I may call upon you again in the future should the need arise."

Success Conditions:
The PCs successfully complete their main mission by delivering the charred letter fragment bearing the name of Pasha Muhlia Al-Jakri to Lady Darchana. Doing so earns each PC 1 Prestige Point

The PCs successfully complete their secondary mission if they free the captured Pathfinder Rilla from the hold of the At Sea. Doing so earns each PC 1 additional Prestige Point.

Liberty's Edge faction (Adeah and Zommy)
You killed Captain Wardak and ensured that all four slaves in area F2 survive until the end of the scenario and escape the At Sea, each Liberty’s Edge faction PC earns the Liberty Never Rests boon on her Chronicle sheet.

Sovereign Court faction (Kyras)
Destroying the docking certificate of the At Sea fulfills this condition and earns each faction PC The Court Grows (Lady Darchana of House Madinani) boon on his Chronicle sheet.

Successfully retrieving the unburned documents would have allowed you to succeed at either faction mission more easily had you otherwise failed.

Interestingly, you never went to Lady Silviani's residence, but this was not required for success at either mission. However, you did not negotiate a refund for the slave (which you would have learned more about), so you do not receive the boon, Budding Friendship
