I made a post for a new GM here
GM Ietsuna
I have messaged GM Socrates. I am willing to pick this game up and will happily do so unless someone else has stepped forward already.
GM Socrates
Thanks Letsuna! I replied to your message; I would love for you to carry the group forward.
GM Ietsuna
Ok. I will read and catch up on where you are all at then move us forward. There was also talk of taking this group forward through a range of scenarios. We can discuss that here while we play also if you are all keen.

Thanks for taking over, I've been out of town for the last few days and didn't realize that we started back up. I'm in now!

Elsewhere, outside of our little adventure, Letsuna posted he'd be away and was having connectivity issues. I anticipate he'll be back soon.

I'll aim to finish this up tomorrow. Can you please make sure I have your PFS details?

I don't know what to do about the Day Job slot. I know it's a thing but I don't know what to make of it.
GM Ietsuna
During Downtime, you can attempt a trained
Craft, Perform, or Profession check to see how much extra
money you earn—this is called a Day Job check. At the end
of each adventure in the Roleplaying Guild, you have the
opportunity to make one Day Job check. A quest series that
grants a single Chronicle sheet counts as a single adventure.
Certain vanities (Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Pathfinder
Society Field Guide 60 and Pathfinder Player Companion:
Pathfinder Society Primer 28) allow you to further modify your
Day Job rolls, or even let you use skill ranks from other,
more specialized skills like Heal or Sleight of Hand.
Permanent bonuses from the following list affect your
Day Job check as they would any check for the rolled skill.
Temporary bonuses from sources other than crafter’s
fortune do not affect Day Job checks.
• Equipment
• Feats
• Racial bonuses
• Class features
• Traits
• Familiar bonuses
• Crafter’s fortune spell
You can take 10 on a Day Job check, but you may not take
20 or use the aid another action. In order to determine how
much gold you make as a result of a Day Job check, consult
the table below. Add this amount to the Day Job box on
your Chronicle sheet.
GM Ietsuna
There is no reason why you cannot pick it up. You will need to put skill point into Profession: Tutor, which means you cannot do it for this game, but you can rebuild at no cost until you play your character at level 2, or just take a point in it at level 2.

Oh, I see. It's an investment of points. And I could just as easily put that point into something useful, instead? Thank you for your patience.
What are the consequences of no day job, and what are the alternatives to having one, if any?
GM Ietsuna
There are some "dayjobs" that use "useful" skills. Diplomacy, Intimidate, craft:alchemy and the like. One of my characters will be taking the one for diplomacy soon. It costs 5 prestige points to unlock the option, but my character has a high diplomacy score.
By having one you gain a little extra gold out of the adventure.
Day Job Check Result GP Award
5 = 1 gp
10 = 5 gp
15 = 10 gp
20 = 20 gp
25 = 50 gp
30 = 75 gp
35 = 100 gp
40 = 150 gp
Another option is to forgo the day job check and instead focus on faction goals. So you can work on things for your faction and get rewards in return.

Ah. Well, in her own way I think Easy is pretty hardcore, so I'm going to opt to have her work on faction goals. For the Silver Crusade!
Thanks for your patience.
GM Ietsuna
I can't issue you chronicles without the info I have requested. I also can't finalize reporting. Could everyone please put their info up?
GM Ietsuna
Thanks Makolen. The Player that I need is just your name. In your case your account name is also Makolen so I'll use that. On the chronicles for my characters mine is either Ietsuna or my real name.

The only think I wasn't sure about was the PFS #. which i assume is the organized play number.
GM Ietsuna
That's right Trache, but you should have a character number too. I assume it will be 1 or 2. I'll sort it out on the reporting.
GM Ietsuna
Ok, Trache, Makolen and Easy. Your characters have been reported and chronicles have been, or shortly will be sent to you.
Trache the character number is 335798-1. Also, I checked your character and you don't have Profession (Mercenary) so I can't roll that day job for you. Sorry.
