Rogar's fury drives his powerful stroke as it chops away another large chunk of the ooze. Gitano's clumsy strike nonetheless still pierces the slow moving ooze, puncturing yet another hole it is mass. Finally, Zavubak's axe parts the remaining ooze mass in half. Both halves convulse in the oily water, before finally losing form altogether, dispersing harmlessly into the sludgy water.

After checking both doors, he announces "I found no traps around either door, and neither is locked. Didn't hear anything beyond either one."

Baied, you can't use Spellcraft untrained.
Don't forget you can take 10 for skill checks outside combat. And Baied can lay guidance.
Gitano, sorry forgot about the detect magic SOP.
Within the room itself, the glowing large bauble hanging from the centre of the room emanates faint evocation magic. Nothing else of note within the room is magical nor through the wooden door to the east. However, through the double doors to the south, Gitano senses two faint magical auras about 30 and 40 feet away from the entrance. Not having sight of it, however, he is unable to determine what kind of aura it is.
Electing to leave that for later, the party turns to the eastern door and Rogar, leading the way, pushes it open and steps through a short passage in a room, followed closely behind by the rest.
A wall of rusted iron bars dominates the northern half of this room, dividing the area up into three individual cells. In the southern half of the room is a grisly looking table bedecked with manacles and blood. On the wall behind the table hang gruesome, blood-stained tools and other implements. Wooden doors stand on the east and west sides of the room, and a hall to the southeast winds upstairs. The room is unlit but the glowing orb from the previous room bathes this area in dim-lighting. Room is in dim light unless someone brings other lights sources.
Inside each of the 6 cells, a goblin is trapped within. But what kind of goblin are they! Some of the have a third arm growing out from their chest. One has giant sharp teeth that barely fits in his mouth. One is completely covered by what appears to be sticky gooey slime. And one even has what appears to be tentacles for its legs!
All of them start screeching and howling as soon as they see Rogar enter the room. That distract you briefly until you see some quick movement at the other end of the room. A vaguely humanoid flying creature about the size of a cat that looks more like a toothy, winged devil is throws what appears to be a switch on the wall, and all the cell doors open!

Gitano informs the party, "I didn't open the double doors at the southern end of the first chamber, but I detected a couple of magical auras through them, both 30-40 feet beyond."
As Rogar leads the party east, the room beyond erupts in screeching. His human eyes have trouble seeing in the dim light. Gitano utters an arcane phrase and curls a fist up to his chin and with an underhanded swing, releases four glowing spheres of light that bowl between Ivar and Rogars legs and careen into the room, brightening the area. Dancing lights.
Gitano calls out to Rogar, "A gentleman always knocks before entering the sorority. What's all the racket, brother?"

Gitano, when visiting an eccentric wizard, came across a similar looking creature known as homunculus, a tiny artificial construct, made from a mixture of clay, ash, mandrake root, spring water, and one pint of the creator’s own blood. Due to that link, although not being able to speak, it is able to communicate telepathically with its creator from great distances. Although not a hardy creature, it has got a poisonous bite that can put the victim to sleep.
For now, the homunculus is in the way and you can't reach the switch.

Baied, you might have forgotten to move your token? You can't see any of the goblins from where you are. I've moved you but kept you to the back.
Reese moves into the room together with the rest of the team, drawing his battleaxe as he does so. Along the way, he starts a rousing song that fills your blood with rage.
raging song: non-action to accept or refuse its affects, and you may make/change your choice every turn --> +2 Str and Con, +1 Will, -1 penalty to AC. If you do, please indicate clearly in your post.
Gitano dashes into the room, stabbing at the flying construct with his rapier. The dextrous little creature tries to dodge the strike but it was too late. Its attention was too much on the switch and Gitano's rapier pierces through its artificial body, weakening it severely. Rogar lumbers into the room and, towering over the goblins, roars are one of them, briefly terrifying it into silence. Ivar races into the room and jumps to bite at the homunculus, but this time, it just manages to flap out of the way. Baied moves into the room, firing her crossbow at one of the goblins, but the bolt clangs harmlessly against the bars of the cell.
The homunculus ignores the attacks and Zavubak's taunts. Weaving around, it rises to the ceiling (20ft). It clearly intends to flee the room by sticking close to the ceiling, out of reach from everyone else.
Despite its withdraw action, Gitano and Ivar will get one AoO each when it left the 2nd square, if you can visualise it in 3D.
The party has little time to worry about the homunculus, however, as the goblins swarm out of their cells with their claws slashing! Basically, all took 5-foot step out and full attack.

With a mighty swing of his axe, Rogar cleaves two goblins in half, spraying their blood with ichor and blood all over the room. Ivar, urged on by his natural hunting instinct, leaps up as the homunculus attempts to fly away, getting a tight grip on its legs, tearing them off its body. The construct falls to the floor, its artificial life torn from its body.
Gitano attempts to stab the homuculus at the same time, failing which covers it up with a dancing flourish. Instead, he turns his attention to the goblin attacking him. With another flourish of display, although missing any particularly vulnerable spot, still plunges into its chest and ends its life.
Technically, Ivar killed it with his AoO, so you could have taken the parry and riposte against blue, but it would still needed this attack to kill it. So same end result.

Zavubak, not your turn yet. :) It's ok though, I'll just use it for the next round.
Rogar, according to your character sheet, your AC is 22, but in the stat line, it is 19? I'll take 22. Separately, I forgot for orange to take the AoO on you earlier.
orange claw AoO vs Reese: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 dmg: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Baied drops her crossbow, and moves towards Rogar whilst drawing her healing wand, activating it on him as soon as she comes up behind him.
In their frenzy, the two remaining goblins seem unaware or simply do not care that most of their comrades have been wiped out. Seeing Zavubak having retreated away, they gleefully switch targets.
red claw 1 vs Rogar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 dmg: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
red claw 2 vs Rogar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 dmg: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
red claw 3 vs Rogar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 dmg: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
orange claw 1 vs Reese: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 dmg: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
orange claw 2 vs Reese: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 dmg: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
The healing came in time, for one of the goblins tears into Rogar with two of his three claws, while Reese easily avoids the tentacled goblin's clumsy attacks.
Clearly frustrated, Zavubak jumps back to the frontline, swinging at one of the two, but despite its clumsy "legs" and deep wounds, the creature is agile enough to dodge out of the way. Again.

Baied Eldourha
|
Once again, Baied use her curative wand on Rogar, trying to save his life at any cost
CLW wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
It's not much, but if it can make him avoid the realms of Pharasma, it's a good bargain.
Gitano Frallino
|
Gitano calls upon Fate's favor once more, and then moves over to help his pals, careful to avoid Orange Crush.
Buff: Swift action for Archaeologist's Luck & Fate's Favored trait = +2 luck bonus on attacks, damage, saves, and skill checks. 7/10 rounds remaining.
"Red Rover, Red Rover, Gitano's come over."
Attack + AL&FF + Flank vs Red Rover: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 251d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
If an opponent makes a melee attack against Gitano, he will attempt an opportune parry and riposte...
Spend 1 panache point and expend 1 AoO to:
Parry with AL&FF and Flank: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
If Parry, then immediate action to Riposte with AL&FF and Flank: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 201d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Gitano provides a flanking bonus to Rogar as well as Zavubak.
Rogar the Relentless
|
Rogar roars in anger at the goblins' continued existance and pays no head to Baied's efforts to keep him alive.
Attack v red, PA, IR, flank: 1d20 + 8 - 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 8 - 1 + 1 + 2 = 22
Damage, PA, IR (magic & slashing): 1d10 + 5 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 2 + 1 = 16
Cleave v orange: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Damage: 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Ivar the Boneful
|
Ivar rushes in to the fray, baying as Rogar roars.
Attack v orange, IR: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 8 + 1 = 15
Damage, IR: 1d6 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 1 = 8
Reese Quinn
|
Ending my performance, gotta save rounds since this is a module.
Reese suddenly stops singing, "These last two aren't worth my breath!" and then cuts another gash in the strange goblin in front of him.
Battleaxe: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Cold Iron, Slashing: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Baied stands behind Rogar, resolutely undoing the damage the goblins are doing to him. Gitano with yet another acrobatic flourish and stabs one of the goblin again in its back, killing it in one stroke. His target nullified, Rogar transfers his mighty swing to the remaining goblin just as Reese's attack comes in, slicing the tentacled goblin into sashimi.
Combat over!
Rogar: -10
Zavubak: -8
Searching the room, among the bodies of the goblins, you find a belt pouch around its waist containing 14 gp, 8 sp, and a severed human finger still wearing an emerald-faceted ring worth 200 gp. (Will be reflected in final chronicle sheet. You have little avenue for spending anyway.
Gitano perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Gitano turns his attention to the unlocked door to the east, satisfying himself that it is not trapped. (This is the default next room unless you feel directly.) Through the door, there is only silence. Through open passage that leads to a flight of stairs, other than the chittering of rats, silence greets you as well.
His trapfinding done, Gitano scans the area. Through the closed door, he senses an moderate aura of conjuration. Through the other passage, however, likely due to the turns, he is not able to sense anything. (Detect magic is blocked by stone.)
Will pause for a day for healing, buffs, etc.
Rogar the Relentless
|
Rogar lets out a heavy sigh as the fighting ends. He then pulls out his own wand and uses it on himself.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
"That's the kinda stuff that makes a man feel alive... Where to next, Gitano?"
Gitano Frallino
|
"I don't hear anything beyond the door to the east, Rogar, though I did detect a moderate aura of conjuration magic through it in the next room. Have we been summoned, perhaps?" Gitano chuckles at his pun.
He makes a wax on, wax off gesture and utters a brief incantion. His spell slowly begins cleaning the gore off his blade, his armor and his other gear.
Gitano looks a question at the party. "Are we resting here now to regain our strength and replenish our resources? I'm for pushing on, if no one objects."
If there are no objections...
"Let's take this door to the east. We can always retrace our steps and explore this staircase leading upwards and return to the unexplored area south of the ooze pit later."
Gitano refreshes his dancing lights, four glowing wisps that circumnavigate Ivar, teasing the valiant hound.
Zavubak
|
Zav hands his wand of cure light wounds to Baied. "I'll make sure nothing kills you, and you make sure I don't bleed. Deal?" He waits for her to tap him with the wand.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
"Rogar, Gitano, let's move on," Zavubak says, hefting his double axe. "The ooze and goblins were but an appetizer in what's likely a ten course meal. Let's be prepared. Or rather, perhaps they should be prepared," he grins menacingly as he looks at the door ahead.
