Fahd steps up and hits it with two quick punches. One bounces off its shell, while the other manages to catch it in the eye, doing substantial damage. Acel draws her rapier, and manages to slip a quick lunge into one of its shoulder joints, causing a gout of green blood to shoot out. Vires and his trusty sidekick also attack, but are unable to land any solid hits.
Seeing him as the bigger threat, the bug lunges towards Fahd attempting to bite him in two, but just misses him. It lashes out with its stinger at Vires, managing to pierce the big man's side.

Ashka is able to get in behind the insect and stab up into its belly. Green bug guts splatter everywhere, including over the rest of the party. The bug then keels over and collapses into the pool.
Combat is done!
The party is now free to examine the arm closely. It comes from an adult human, and it appears to be recent and fresh, judging by the decay.

Fahd pulls on the handle. It sticks for a second, but with a heave, he manages to open a five foot wide trap door into the necropolis. Unfortunately, this also causes all the water in the pool to drain into the tunnels below.
I need a Reflex Save, DC 15, for anyone in the pool, so Fahd and Acel, plus any others. If you succeed, you manage to keep your feet while the water drains around you. If you fail, make an Acrobatics check, DC 10. If you make that check, you get swept into the tunnels, landing with a thud at the bottom, but relatively unscathed. The entire group is able to keep their feet while the water drains into the tunnels below. Once the flow stops, it is a fairly easy climb down into the passages below.
A network of 6-foot-wide, arched tunnels connects double-vaulted ossuary chambers. The once ornate chambers are now a patchwork of brown stone walls, faded paint, and crumbling plaster. Water seeps through the walls and collects in floor cracks and ankle-deep puddles. The entire necropolis is unlit. All of the doors are made of heavy stone and are unlocked and ajar. Several passageways end in cave-ins—evidence of the great geological violence visited upon the necropolis 10 years ago.
What are you guys using for light? There are no lights currently in the tunnels.
Map is linked above. Place yourselves on the map in your preferred marching order. You come in through the trapezoid at the top. The stair that curls around in the north east corner ends in a cave in, so you will be heading into the large room to start.

That marching order looks good to me, except for the fact that Ashka is behind a pig. ;) And Ashka needs no light. In fact, she's very, very stealthy, and could explore ahead a bit if folks wanted.
When the party reaches the sunken passage, Ashka moves with the others toward the door at the far end of the hall, her blade in hand. As they reach the door, she listens carefully at it and checks it for surprises.

Carved pillars in the corners of this chamber hold aloft a double-vaulted ceiling of cracked frescos. On either side of the chamber, a single step leads up into a deeply recessed area that forms an arched room of its own.

@Acel, you can save your wand charge.
The undead creature succumbs to a flurry of blows from the party. The only thing remaining are a few stray bits and an occasional finger.
Out of combat!
Anything else to do in this room? Or are we ready to move on?

You quickly scan through the book. It's a journal that used to belong to one Grishan Maldris, the youngest brother of Colson Maldris. The journal is filled with gossip about many of his fellow classmates and their families. Apparently, Grishan thought himself something of a spy, and was feeding this information to the former head of the Liberty's Edge faction.
