Found the link and got a post up. Just curious, how long do these PbP games usually run? Sorry I'm new to both PFS and PbP. Been doing tabletop for a while just started moving to the online stuff lately since I can't get any other games going.

Actually that was what Misarru tried to think of, what is the closest meeting point from the grand Lodge and the closest after that.
In other words what would be the optimal route to travel through to get to the four points the quickest one after the other.

Just a note on chilly's alighnment, it is CN not CG as originally noted. That was a hold over from another game, which never got played. If it is a hassle I can change it back to cg.

Here's an empty version of the Chronicle Sheet you will each receive when you've completed this scenario. As you can see when you view the sheet, you have to keep track of everything you've bought/sold. For new characters, this means absolutely everything since the moment you created your character. For characters that have been around some time, this means everything since the last time you wrote your purchases/sales on a Chronicle Sheet.
(When not in a scenario, you're also supposed to note purchases/sales on your most recent Chronicle Sheet.)
At the end of the scenario I'll fill out what I have to, but the bought/sold items section is your own responsibility. I advise for all of you to keep a list of what will have to be written in the bought/sold parts of the Chronicle Sheet. If you've downloaded the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play, there's a neat tracking sheet that you can use for this.

Keep in mind you can each use the loot you find, but all of it disappears after the adventure. You cannot sell loot you've just found and use the gold.
To prevent it from mixing up with your "real" items I'd advice putting whatever loot you carry with you in a separate part on your profile.
At the end of the scenario you will each receive a reward, and you will be able to purchase whatever you want from the items that are always available + those items listed on your Chronicle Sheet under "Items Found During This Scenario". (The items listed here can be purchased as many times you like, and remain available for purchase after you've received other Chronicle Sheets.)

In regards to the summoning:
First Worlder's summon does not contain the line about only being a standard action however the Spell-Like Abilities UMR says
Reactivating a constant spell-like ability is a swift action. Using all other spell-like abilities is a standard action unless noted otherwise.
Since the first worlder's summon ability does not talk about activation time, I believe that makes it a standard action. I am happy to play it as a 1 round casting time if you prefer though. (According to James Jacobs the 1 round casting time is the intent of the ability even if they failed to word it correctly.)
Just let me know and I am happy to play it either way.

What you have said is true enough to my reading of it, but you cannot use your spell like ability summoning if your eidolan is still summoned. It's one or the other.
| StephNyan |
The following line is absent in the First Worlder's description of the 'Summon Nature's Ally' ability:
"He can cast this spell as a standard action and the creatures remain for 1 minute per level (instead of 1 round per level)."
This means the faster summoning speed isn't a part of the First Worlder's alternate summon ability. For that reason the time it takes a First Worlder to summon a creature is the default time, which is a a full round.
Normally a summoner's eidolon would disappear when using his 'Summon Monster' ability. However, this time the following text is missing from the 'Summon Nature's Ally' ability:
"Drawing upon this ability uses up the same power as the summoner uses to call his eidolon. As a result, he can only use this ability when his eidolon is not summoned."
Thus, following the same logic as before, what's not written isn't a part of the alternate ability. The eidolon stays, because there's no reason given why it can't stay. (Apparently Summon Nature's Ally doesn't draw it's power from the same source as the eidolon.)
It seems to me like there's a trade-off here. A First Worlder can have both a summon and his (weakened) eidolon out. A 'normal' summoner can have either his eidolon out, or make use of extra fast summons.

On April 5th starts the PbP Game Day. Starting that day a whole bunch of GMs will run scenarios, which will have to end by July 5th. Both players and GMs get a chance to earn extra boons for their characters if they participate.
It seems likely this group will finish this scenario by the end of March. Would you then like to participate in a scenario I'll GM for the Game Day?
Those of you who'd like to join in the Game Day scenario: please let me know in a PM which scenarios you'd like to play, and which absolutely not. I'm willing to GM almost everything. The exceptions being the games I'm in as a player by the time the Game Day starts.

I guess I'm up for the same thing as Chillblame/Chilly. If Misarru qualifies for a scenario I'm up for it, just want to get some PFS scenario xp under my belt.
I know what direction Misarru is headed for, but that will take some time to accomplish.

I'd be up for it too, but Artix has already been drafted to another table running Shades of Ice, part 1 and maybe 2.

Sorry for the inactivity, my pc has broken down tuesday morning and this is the first day I have access to a pc with internet that I have the time and privacy to hang out on the forums.
I had actually hoped to get in a message or that someone could post for me excusing me for the time being.
New pc is on the way but it has taken/will take a few days for it to come into the shop. I'll be able to make a few posts during the daytime, but in the evening I'll probably not be able to post.
Sorry for the downtime, I'll be back to my normal posting in a few days.
| StephNyan |
Meanwhile, I ask of Chilly and Artix to proceed. For as long as Misarru's gone, it'll come down to the two. It shouldn't be a problem, because it's a puzzle and there's no fighting involved.
Sparkle doesn't participate here, 'cause he knows the solution to the puzzle. Of course you can still ask him to lend a hand if you need an extra pair.
May you require a second extra pair of hands, feel free to ask Misarru and I'll GMPC him for the time being.

Sorry for not posting, took a sudden trip to the inlaws and didn't get any time on a computer.

I'm feeling blue. Love the way you changed the portrait though. Chilly wants a drink and to hit something repeatedly. Not necessarily in that order.

Like I wrote in the gameplay thread, you may now make Day Job rolls. If you don't have a trained skill for it, know that you can take Craft and Perform checks untrained.
I enjoyed playing this scenario with you, and hope you also had fun! Some of you will join me during the Game Day in either The Dalsine Affair, The Veteran's Vault, or both. If anyone else also wants in, check my campaigns for the recruitment threads.
If you still have questions, feel free to ask them. If you have feedback for me as a GM, let me know.
The thread will close in a couple of days, when everyone's aware the scenario's finished and has had a chance to make Day Job rolls.
Thanks for playing! ;)
