When the pathfinders finally report back to the grand lodge, they are still in time to prevent the arsonists from setting the place alight. Lady Heidmarch is grateful, and reports that the Lord-Mayor launched an investigation into Aspis activities and publicly fined Sloan himself; Aspis Consortium profits and influence in Magnimar should drop considerably, reducing Sloan’s stature in the Consortium.
That's it for this game. I'll do reporting and chronicles - I hope I have everybody's information, as it's all over the place :)

I was just chasing up if there were either any slaves I could liberate, or if not, and slavery was legal, Blackjack will make his speech against slavery to the assembled masses before they cart away the poor misled merchant 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23 vs DC23!
Did you want me to type the speech? :p

Thanks for that game DMK, though I've been all too passive about it - sorry about that. For that reason, I'll forgo DJ and faction card for this one.

@Blackjack: that's a differen item on the faction card, right? There weren't any explicit slaves in this one, nothing to liberate there (pity that)[/ooc]
@Ouroboreia: Nah, that's ok. Go ahead an roll your day job. Otherwise I'll start feeling bad for my intermittent posting lately.

The card gives two options - give a rousing speech in a place where slavery is legal OR be off rescuing slaves. So I went the check for speechgiving...
He's actually keen on finding a smart slave to rescue and mentor (another tick) who he then gets to use as a cool vanity NPC. If only he could find a reliable First Mate!
