Iskim easily breaks free of his bonds, frustrated that he was unable to wound the spider that had so embarrassed him.

Camaenor inspects the spider, and sees that it was indeed poisonous.
Give me a survival check if you want to cut it out. Careful not to hurt yourself...
The door in the middle of the tower is stuck. Alternatively, it is possible to reach the next level of the tower by scaling the rubble wall (DC 15 Climb)

Looking up at the tower, the eastern side seems to have almost completely broken away. It should be quite straightforward to attach a grapple on the ledge of the next floor

Iskim takes a knotted silk rope and grappling hook out of his backpack, then tosses the hook up to the ledge above, giving it a few experimental tugs.

Climbing up becomes a lot easier now that a rope is attached, and Scarlet makes it up without any problem. The layout of the second floor is quite similar to that of the ground floor: there's doors on the northwest and southwest side of what was once an octagonal room.

G'Boar waits to take up the rope last, muttering, "Happy to come up as trail.... Wouldn't want ye cheeky bastards theavin' a free glance up me kilt!"

The party makes it up safely to the next floor, only to find that both doorframes have been damaged in the earthquake, which means both doors are completely stuck.

G'Boar grimaces at Scarlet, giving her a sly, crooked grin. He thinks about how to incorporate "batwing" into the conversation, but instead turns his attention to Cyjke and his efforts with the door...

Camaenor tries to help Cyjke, leaning his shoulder into the door. "I do hate manual labor. Hay hulk-man, get over here and use those big muscles for something other than filling out your armor!" he chides, grinning at the nagaji.

With the help of Iskim, and to a lesser extent Camaenor, Cyjke forces open the door. Judging from the shelves lining the walls, this darkened room might once have been a storeroom, though its contents have long since succumbed to the passage of time. A crack in the northern wall has apparently let in some rainwater, which has collected in a large puddle on the floor.
There is a little lizard here, it's hide sparkling with the crackle of energy. It looks... for lack of a better word.. enthusiastically at the group as they enter, much like a dog looking for a handout, and runs toward Cyjke.

Wondering what type of beast the lizard is Cyjke tries to redirect it by picking up a stick or rock and tossing it away from the group "Fetch!" {no training in handle animals}

The creature is a shocker lizard, a small reptilian that can cause a discharge of electrical energy. If it comes near, it will probably deliver quite the jolt of energy.
Before the creature comes near, Cyjke throws a rock to the back of the room, which the creature eagerly goes to fetch. Picking it up with his maw, it turns around and moves back to the group...

G'Boar, careful to not step in any of the standing water, retrieves a small bundle of dried, smoked venison from his pack and tosses it in the far corner of the room. Hoping to distract the lizard until they can possibly move through the next door. The Ranger moves and listens, checking for traps at the far door.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

The lizard runs after the dried meat, and chews on it in a corner, charged with energy. G'Boar moves to the door, but finds nothing.

Likewise, Scarlet moves to the door to help get a move on through it before the creature returns to play...
She readies some more food to throw, waiting on the Ranger to get the door open.

Iskim retrieves his rope and grapple, then moves quickly to the door, avoiding the shocker lizard, and opens it, greatsword drawn.

G'Boar grew numb to stench through his many trials of novice gutting of game as a banished youth, living on the fringes of his Highland society. One too many mistaken clips of the stomach sack or, Tinker forbid, the gall bladder has had the young Ranger covered not only in the animal's bile, but some of his own as well.
Seeing the impending threat, G'Boar clears the doorway in order to allow his companions to enter the room and takes aim at (*), letting his arrow fly.

G;Boar fires a shot at the trog in the back of the room, but hits only tough, scaly hide. Iskim charges up to the closer, and cleaves down with so much force that he hacks his blade almost down to the spine of the creature, leaving it dead on the floor.
Cyjke throws his bomb, but too far and off the mark, and only manages to hit a weapons rack.
Scarlet fires her crossbow, hitting the purple trog completely by surprise, and lodging a bolt in its belly.
Having finally found their bearing, the troglodytes react: from range, they throw their javelins at Iskim, but missing both.

Camaenor runs through the door to join the combat, yelling to kitty and the elf, "Come in here and close the door behind you!" he then draws back the arraow and attempts to hit the last troglodyte...

The arterial bleeding caused by Camaenor turns out to be fatal to the troglodyte after all, as it slowly sags to the floor.
