It's early here ;-)

![]() |

Rysalius, maintaining his epic tale telling, moves boldly into the room and strikes the closest robot with his adamantine sword.
Adamantine Longsword (2-handed, PA, AS, Heroism, Bull's Strength, Inspire Courage): 1d20 + 8 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 8 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 311d8 + 4 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 3 = 19
Confirmation: 1d20 + 8 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 8 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 281d8 + 4 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 3 = 21
AC 22 if only one foe adjacent.

DM Kludde |

Rysalius bring his sword down, and with a crushing sound manages to hit the central gears of the robot, producing a grinding, squeaking noise, and finally a bang as his sword destroys the functional core.
Heh, maybe I should let the enemies act, no? As I said, it's early, I'll treat the robots as if they delayed.
The puddle of silvery mass slithers up to Percy, and tries to engulf him, slithering up his ankles and legs.
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9
Percy, I'll need a DC 15 Fort save
The remaining gearsman move over the greased area towards Rysalius

Maeglin moved up and hide behind Rysalius back. He was holding healing wand in one hand and small dagger in another.

Himself was intended to hide behind noble's back until the moment comes, and then jump out and distract enemy in protecting manner.

DM Kludde |

Percy avoids being possessed by the silvery mass. Maeglin and Gorazio come to the aid of Rysalius, helping him get in a better position against the gearsman. Rhanloi fires off a force missile at the robot, which dissipates harmlessly on the shielding of the construct.
Pendleton slowly comes to his sense: The silver thing, be careful! Keep away from it, it will try to, try to...

Bones, swarms are only affected by area of effect, not by single target spells.

![]() |

Bones is out of area effect , except for channel energy which probably doesn't effect the puddle or robots. The cold didn't effect the robot down stairs , so just giving it a try. Didn't the group take the electric pistol from the lady down stairs?

The silvery mass slithers up Castien legs, cover him, and then - painfully - forces its way in through his nose. When the horrible sight is over, Castien looks much like Blakros did before, silvery veins running all over his skin and a strange, other-worldly look in his eyes.
Castien, in case anyone wants to attack you, can you tell us how you feel about that? Because of the PFS 'no PvP' rule, you'll have to give consent to allow attacks against you.

Percy hurls another vial of Alchemist Fire at the swarm.
Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Damage 1d6 ⇒ 6
With his vast array of knowledge, does Percy consider there might be a possibility ofusing Shocking Grasp on the Swarm? Either by covering the floor in water and zapping that with the swarm on it, or that the swarm is metallic? Its an oddball!

![]() |

Keeping same formation, Gorazio and Maeglin were there, following Rysalius and supporting him.
Gorazio (aid to AC): 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 2 = 12 +2 to AC
Maeglin (aid to Attack): 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 2 = 8 failed

DM Kludde |

The 'cyberplasm' (that's what it is, no harm in knowing) is either in its free form (a swarm) or possessing someone (as it currently is doing with Castien). Hurting Castien will also hurt the cyberplasm. There's currently no swarm visible, just strangely possessed Castien
Your characters know that electricity can be used to disrupt the possession.
On a side note: I think the shocking grasp + water trick is a neat, creative trick. I'd allow it for this fight.

Bellowing his song of death and ruin, Rysalius gives chase to the robot, flanking it with Rhanloi.

Rysalius keeps his head clear, and takes the gearsman threat out of the equation with a powerful blow of his all-cleaving sword. Bones channels energy, hoping to exclude the silvery creature from being healed. It's hard to tell, but his intuition seems to be right for now, and Castien at least seems to be better off.

A crackling sound is heard as Castien jitters and shocks. Castien takes 10 damage, now at 3/24

The shock ejects the silvery mass again, lying sprinkled on the floor in front of castien. The small balls roll in all directions, scattering over the floor, and do not seem to reform as they did before.
Combat over!
Pendleton Blakros blabbers a bit That thing... it just appeared and then crawled all over me, like it did to that elf., then regains his composure Pendleton Blakros. You must be with Ambrus' club? Please offer him my heartfelt thanks for sending a rescue mission, as our ability to cope with this menace has been limited.
Having cleared the museum of dangerous threats (once again), the pathfinders leave the museum for Nigel to assess the damage. The Blakros family send their sincere thanks, and that week, the group is even invited to a private dinner party, celebrating the continuation of the life and career of the young Blakros scion.
Phew, that was quite the fight. Congratulations on making it to the end (and yay for electricity spells). Hope you enjoyed it! I'll be reporting the game soon, and expect chronicles later today.

Percy gives Castien an apologetic clasp on the shoulder "Glad you are ok my friend, I hope you didn't feel that last bit too much"
"Glad we could all be of service, I do admit that I learnt a lot in there, especially about these strange technological devices"
Percy and his little Dragon, Boffins, do their best to wine and dine with the Blackros family. Once the dinner is concluded... "Well my friendly party of fellows, I shall always be around if called for, and I take great interest in the technology we have been finding - I shall look at it some more!"
Thanks GM, Percy is off to Bonekeep in a week - that should be interesting...!

![]() |

Rhanloi covers many of the odd items and the technology they encountered in his report back to the Society, especially noting the difficult time they had with the gearsmen and making a mental note to study up on his electricity-based spells!
Another great game, DMK - thanks!!

Ryalius raises his chin high, smiling to the formerly possessed boy.
"You're welcome, and yes, we're of the Pathfinder Society. I'm glad you're alright, to be honest. The fate you were about to meet... I would wish that on no one. Give my regards to Hamaria, will you?"
At the dinner party, the Baron takes great pleasure in being introduced with the Blakros family and the high-ups of Absalom. Despite his advanced age, a promise of marriage was on the matriarch's lips that night...
Thanks for that game, DMK!

Castien collapses to the floor as the silver mass leaves his body, and the relief on his face is evident when it does not reintegrate. At Percy's apology, as with Bones' healing, he says nothing, but nods silently, a grim smile on his lips and a haunted look in his eyes.
He attends the dinner, but can't shake the feeling of the cyberplasm making its way into his body. He excuses himself shortly before dessert is served, and returns to the lodge.
Thanks for running this, DMK; fun as always!
