Because of long interaction, Maeglin's invisibility dissapeared and he appared in person. When he heard Castien remarks, he asked Gorazio:
"Please, can you check the doors? Scream loudly if there is something dangerous."
Eidolon noded and moved to look around for hidden trouble.

DM Kludde |

From Gorazio's inspection, there is nothing behind the locked doors. As the adventurers prepare to make their way up, the two museum clerks leave the building, eager to find the safety of their homes.
The main staircase leads up to a second floor salon. Warm colors and skillful paintings of scenes and landscapes lend an inviting charm to the place. A few small tables and chairs have been up-ended and scattered around the floor. Double-doors to the north are labeled “Hall of Incantation,” while open passageways lead east and west.
Assuming you head up the main stairs - if not, let me know

DM Kludde |

By the way, I'm assuming you leave Gerva tied up, downstairs. If you want to do anything else, be sure to let me know

DM Kludde |

Very well
The 'secret' stairs up lead to a little hallway, another secret door, and then a longer narrow hallway, with several doors on the west side, and a single door on the east side. The doors on the west side all bear name plaques: 'Nigel Aldain', 'Vencen Quil', 'Zenel Kavoos', 'Pendleton Blakros'. Everyone has an office here. The door to the east does not have a name plaque.

The first office is the largest one: Nigel Aldain clearly claimed the biggest space for himself. Inside there's a desk, locked drawers, and some piles of paperwork.
There's a bit of a rustling sound coming from the larger space to the south, at the end of the hallway.

Rysalius quickly browses through Nigel's office, wondering of he can find anything of note.

Rysalius finds a secret drawer in Nigel's office. It contains a collection of letters to an anonymous contact in the elven homeland of Kyonin. Nigel is apparantly negotiating a deal to smuggle out several historical relics. Dangerous business: if this were to be made public, Nigel would certainly be exiled from his homeland. Somebody more power-hungry than Rysalius would surely be able to use these documents as blackmail.

The open door to the hall of incantation reveals a display of magical objects. Spellbook pages depicting nearly two-dozen cantrips have been carefully framed and hung around the room’s perimeter.
It turns out these objects are non-magical replicas. What a pity.

This gallery is a collection of unexplained or bizarre curios from the Blakros archive, more akin to a carnival sideshow than a museum collection. Noteworthy exhibits include a colorful folded manual brought back from an empire across the Arcadian Ocean, a pickled gnoll fetus, a series of twelve quartz crystals carved to look like brains supported by frail humanoid bodies, and a clockwork device with no apparent useful function.
Rhanloi notices some kind of portable pressure trap on the floor. He gets the feeling that clockwork device might be active, and is waiting for someone to walk into the trap...
