Guys, there's a player in the recruitment thread who'd like to join us. He has played the first two modules of the trilogy, so I'd like to accommodate him if possible. Unfortunately, his character is about halfway through another PbP game--and is locked.
Do you guys want to play one of the quests while we wait for him?
Do you want to just forge ahead?
Do you have an alternate suggestion?
Happy to entertain any/all thoughts. :-)

Hi guys! I'm the one who you would be waiting for. Alchemist level 6. As stated i did play the first 2 modules in this set.
Quartz is a funny little gnome who likes to talk and if no one else talks to him he will talk to his donkey that carries his lab. He does have the ability to cast detect magic at will and a good spellcraft. I hope to be able to play with you guys.

How long until we could get started with him? When will his character be available?

I will be taking a Fall Break trip with my family to Grand Canyon and Mesa Verde.
I'll likely not be able to post from Thursday to Sunday, so feel free to bot me if I'm up!

Also how did you guys go about the last module in the set? My group snuck in when the recruitment was happening. We got ladders and broken under a silence spell on the upper window. It was very mission impossible.

I didn't realize a couple of things about bleed and regeneration. Bleed, if expressed as a die roll, is re-rolled every round until the creature gets a heal check or healing magic. I would assume regeneration would stop bleed, although RAW would say no (since it isn't magic or a heal check). And regeneration is prevented for the entire round if the creature takes fire or acid damage! So... the bleed goes through this round. And then on Husarq's turn next round ALSO? Since the troll's regeneration has been negated until its next turn, which occurs AFTER Husarq's.

Mareck, did you play your summoner at level 2 or higher at least once BEFORE April 27, 2015?
As of 4/27/15 the summoner class in the APG book is no longer legal. Only the summoner in Pathfinder Unchained is currently legal, and bleed is not an unchained evolution. :-(

Excellent! :-)

No, sir. From CRB: "A creature that is taking bleed damage takes the listed amount of damage at the beginning of its turn." (Emphasis mine.) On the troll's turn, it takes the amount of bleed damage that you rolled before it can take any actions.

OK, so to be sure I've got this, Husarq's (bleed) damage isn't dealt on HIS turn, but occurs on the troll's turn instead?

Hi, everybody! Wanted to wish you all a happy holiday season!
With travel and family obligations ahead for many of us, please don't worry about posting over the next couple of weeks. I will try to continue posting at least once a day. But I totally understand that the same will not be possible for everyone.
:-)

I was wondering, if an invisible cleric channeled positive energy to heal his comrades, but also included an undead enemy in the channel radius.... would that cause him/her to become visible?

"The spell ends if the subject attacks any creature. For purposes of this spell, an attack includes any spell targeting a foe or whose area or effect includes a foe."
Looks like anything that harms the enemy on purpose counts to break the invisibility.
