Nah, bad luck in the dice is not your fault. Moreover, I liked your narrative style and the frequency of your posts.

Looks like everyone is checked in on the discussion thread for this table. We can start in a day or two once people have intros and beginning role-playing "finished." (Couldn't think of a better word) I try to work at the pace of the players. :)
Also, fair warning and I will probably remind next week... I am the main organizer of PFS at a convention next weekend (May 26-29), so we will see if I am able to post at all during that time. I know for sure I will not have internet access at the convention center. But until then, business as normal. :)

I am flying home tonight for a wedding and won't be back until Monday. Bot me if needed but it seems the game may not be too active over the next few days anyways.

Apologies for the lack of posts. I am having a busy work deadline which I failed to post about in this game, but on top of that, I managed to wrench my back yesterday while getting a wheelchair out of a car and as a result I'm sort of mildly drugged right now. I'll try and post promptly when it comes around to Thessaly in initiative, but my apologies if I don't manage it.

I will be playing a Wardens of the Reborn Forge marathon this weekend, so likely won't be able to update on this at all Friday night - Sunday evening (7/15-7-17).

I have a doubt: Malakiah is carrying the wand of Command Undead, which is a level 2 spell. He doesn't have access to level 2 spells yet, but Command Undead is in his spell list. Can he use the wand normally, or need to make any check, or simply can't use it?

Here's a couple quotes that will explain it, but the short answer if that "Yes you can":
Activation: Wands use the spell trigger activation method, so casting a spell from a wand is usually a standard action that doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity. (If the spell being cast has a longer casting time than 1 action, however, it takes that long to cast the spell from a wand.) To activate a wand, a character must hold it in hand (or whatever passes for a hand, for non-humanoid creatures) and point it in the general direction of the target or area. A wand may be used while grappling or while swallowed whole.
Spell Trigger: Spell trigger activation is similar to spell completion, but it's even simpler. No gestures or spell finishing is needed, just a special knowledge of spellcasting that an appropriate character would know, and a single word that must be spoken. Spell trigger items can be used by anyone whose class can cast the corresponding spell. This is the case even for a character who can't actually cast spells, such as a 3rd-level paladin. The user must still determine what spell is stored in the item before she can activate it. Activating a spell trigger item is a standard action and does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
Wands are pretty straightforward. If it's on your spell list, you can use it. Scrolls get a little more complex (with caster level checks and such if you're too low level to use them).

I am back. Mother was taken to the hospital and I spent all day Friday with her, things turned up with the best possible results and she's back home today. She'll still need a bit of extra help so my posting may be a bit slower for the next week or so but you likely won't even notice the difference.

As far as finishing on time for GD V, I think it's definitely possible. There's five fights left, and really only three of those I think could pose any sort of challenge (and one of those can even be bypassed). I can just run the ones that are challenging if the party wants to finish on time (plus those two other ones are really lame). Let me know what you think and I can switch to "finish in time" mode, but it'll still be fun I promise. :p
