That that is matters really, the DC for that is a base of 27 (don't ask why it is so hard, it almost seems like a typo) +4 more for the smell (not sure why, some are harder with the smell and it makes sense but this one?), even with the -2 four player adjustment the DC is 29, and you made a credible 22. One failure is not too bad

Breakneck Race

The ravine wall is just ahead, and the Aspis Consortium agents burst from another stand of trees and race for the same set of handholds. One of the trees growing along your path bears a single glowing fruit known as a Kaava sun pear.

You may either try to Sic the Dino on them (handle animal) or Beat on Them a Bit (attack roll). You may try to grab the pear, to do so, you must make two attempts at which ever task, taking the lower result. You must then make either an acrobatics or Climb check (DC15).

The pathfinder team sets off a mini landslide, one that takes a couple of Aspis agents with it. Looks like afternoon T-rex!

You trudge through the jungle, hauling your supply of eggs back towards the frog-folks odd village in the trees.

At the outskirts of the Krihirik village, grippli possessions lie scattered about as if they were dropped or tossed carelessly from the dwellings above. Where before gripplis hurried about the village, now none are to be found. Shouting from the direction of the elders’ hut carries through the empty jungle— “Find the others!”—followed by the loud crash of something falling to the jungle floor.

Yeah - not a problem on the wand - they are good for out of combat healing.
For now we will concentrate on dropping the bad guys first and patch up after. I have a couple channels left as well.
