#1 I think they will be too concerned with "looting" to worry about spies.

#2 I will portray you as going around to the pathfinder society agents and trying to heal them, maybe even taking the liberty of mourning or shedding a tear or two over a couple, to give you a very non-threatening entry.

Anyway - what you wrote is fine, Brayden, We'll go with that. He'll be at the battle site, healiing as much as he can - which sadly is not as much as he'd like - since he cannot channel or anything like that - he just has his few 1st lvl spells a day which he can use all of as clw, which is fine.

Just so you know, and these things don't affect the game or the character in any way, but are just 'fluff' - but I rolled on the variant features chart and got a result of two things - character has 6 fingers on each hand (again, no real effect - just 'fluff') and his shadow is winged (he's not), which is weird but again, just 'fluff'... Is it okay to use these in a PFS game since there is no real affect on the game from them?

Anyway - I hope this posts... I am getting a lot of posting errors today with 'paizo website not found', and losing whole posts.... so from now on, I'm doing a copy of everything I'm about to post, so I don't have to retype it if I lose it. Sigh...

With it being easter weekend I don't expect a lot of movement. I am prepared to move you on if I see sufficient interest. The next phase is arriving at the camp and talking to the head person about the dig site and what they have found.

As always, the usual banter is welcome and appreciated,and I'd like you to use this time to integrate Varian into the group (without rushing it or having to do much later in mid story arc.)

Just a quick warning, Varian only just became a society member the last month or so, and was sent out to this g forsaken place as a first duty... So he knows almost nothing about what is going on here, as he has been in the battles between the ape men and not involved in the digging/excavation part.

So, how far we go is up to you. I am at home for the most part and bored for the next few days, so we'll see how it plays out.

Special Abilities:
Heartstone (Ex): At 2nd level, a stonelord’s flesh becomes progressively rockier. She gains a +1 natural armor bonus to AC and DR/adamantine equal to 1/2 her paladin level. The natural armor bonus increases by +1 at 6th level, and every four levels thereafter, to a maximum of +5 at 18th level. These benefits are halved when not touching the ground or a stone structure. This ability replaces divine grace.

Lay On Hands (Su): Beginning at 2nd level, a paladin can heal wounds (her own or those of others) by touch. Each day she can use this ability a number of times equal to 1/2 her paladin level plus her Charisma modifier. With one use of this ability, a paladin can heal 1d6 hit points of damage for every two paladin levels she possesses. Using this ability is a standard action, unless the paladin targets herself, in which case it is a swift action. Despite the name of this ability, a paladin only needs one free hand to use this ability.
Alternatively, a paladin can use this healing power to deal damage to undead creatures, dealing 1d6 points of damage for every two levels the paladin possesses. Using lay on hands in this way requires a successful melee touch attack and doesn't provoke an attack of opportunity. Undead do not receive a saving throw against this damage.

So, a quick thought. Any of you ever had any interest in doing a "realtime" game? We have a good group here, I feel, and think that it would be worth trying to get a realtime session going, either a chat game, or a full on video game for another scenario (or even a full blown game if it worked out).

Amnur and I have been kicking around the idea of doing a video game (which will be made much easier once Paizo has their VTT done, but wouldn't be that hard without it anyways...) for about a year now, and I would be down with trying a chat session, or even a google "hangout" video session, or whatever.

My feeling is that this is a great group, playing a "non-great" way to play.

Anyone have any interest in this? And what time zones are we operating with here? Amnur and I are both in the "mountain" time zone, for starters.

I am in pacific time so could probably do a mt game just fine. I'd probably be more interested in a chat type game than a video type game, but definitely interested in a real-time format.

I'm in Mountain Time Zone, too.

If we were to do this, Tuesday or the occasional Saturday night would be my best possibilities.

On that note, thanks to GM credits and what not, Oriandor will be level 4 after this mission, so I'd probably play another character to keep in level with everyone (either a gnome Oracle of Nature riding an Axebeak or a Chelish wizard aiming to be a Hellknight).

I am not free every weekend, and Sundays from 5-7pm pst are out for me as I have another game on irc at that time. But I do have some Saturdays and some Sundays free - it just kinda depends (family/face-to-face games/travel/etc all come up from time to time, but I always know well in advance and can schedule around them)

So what next? Would you all rather do a scheduled "real time" game, or do another PbP? Are we liking the group, and wanting to do another as the same group?

Personally I do not think I have time for a scheduled real time game. With work and summer kicking in I am just hoping I'll have time for another pbp. I am definitely enjoying the group, and am down with it staying together if the group is amicable.

I'm down for doing another. I will be in the process of selling my house and moving during this next scenario, so there might be the occasional "out of the house this weekend looking for a new place to live" sort of stuff once in a while... if that doesn't sound like anything that would make any of you light rage infernos, then I would offer up my services. Otherwise, I am perfectly happy to step aside and run a character and let someone else run.
