Level 2!
And, of course, the gold and PA will come in handy.
Now we just need to find a new adventure. One which keeps as much of the band together as possible. I miss that gnome, and Bander... well, Bander's cat. I miss Lori and Bander's cat, and maybe Bander a bit...
:D

![]() |

Thanks for running it B! Yeah I'm all for another one and trying to keep the group together. Time to scope out the recruitment boards :)

Brayden Green |

I'm in for part 2. Already bought it. Let's see if Lore would be in for part 2, if not then I'm sure that zen or someone would want in. Keep close, we might be starting at any time.

Sitting in her chair wearing her fuzzy bunny slippers she looks up from her "Absalon Today" magazine, Shilyn takes a sip of coffee. "I'm so there! Bring on Lore," she says reaching for another glazed donut. "After all, Flo's buying." Casting a wink at the dwarf, she goes back to reading..

![]() |

Amnur stands there looking uncomfortably warm in his armor, and sticks his tongue out nobly at Shi. At the GM's instructions to stand close, he brings in everyone for a group hug, fitting his long strong arms around as many of his friends as he can. He looks up, breath in serious need of refreshing, "Is this close enough?" he calls out to the all powerful being which dictates both fate and destiny... which are different because that's how powerful GMs are.

Brayden Green |

You'll be in the library when I *say* you can go to the library.
3 second pause
Okay, you can go to the library.

![]() |

"ack! Amnur, you just crinkled my magazine.. and um.." she says in her best motherly voice as she puts her hand over her nose, "you need a bath. You smell like stale ale.." breaking free, she gently pushes the dwarf toward the showers. "shoo! No group hug until you're cleaned up."

Brayden Green |

Good news! Jafo (Aka "Lore") PMd back and said she would make a character to join our group (Lore is still out on society business). So heads up. We will be jumping in at any time.

![]() |

Wahoo!
Amnur, returning from a bath taken in his armor, rams his helmet back onto his wet head just as the All Powerful Voice speaks from the heavens once more. He bows his head, muttering, "I am ready to jump, O Green man in the sky"

![]() |

Lol.. somehow I can so picture the dwarf bathing in his armor.. and muttering the whole time about having to get wet.. heheh.

![]() |

HI all - This is JAFO, checking in with my new character... glad to be rejoining the group and sorry Lore is unable to reconnect with you all. Look forward to starting up the game.
Just read through all 10 pages of your last adventure. Sounds like a fun group.

Brayden Green |

Welcome "New Lore" :)
Yeah, this group is a real riot... <<rolls eyes>>

Brayden Green |

Any ideas on when we want to start? Wednesday (tomorrow) is superbly busy, but I am good anytime after that.
What do you all think?

![]() |

Ori and Flori - sound like they should be Tolkien dwarves... lol

![]() |

i still have less than 10 posts ... i could chsnge my name to Vorian haha

![]() |

Hi Oriandor... I'm your new member, known by some here as Lore, but now under a new guise as Varian. Nice to meet you.

![]() |

I....
Want to rock and roll,
Alllll Niiiiiight.

![]() |

Well, as a metal oracle, Varian is melee-oriented, but with healing too, just in case it's necessary. Hopefully I can keep up with the rest of you, being a level or two behind everyone.

![]() |

You'll be fine.. as long as you can keep Amnur from practicing his axian (Dwarven) diplomacy.. heh. But then again.. that's where your healing skills come in handy

![]() |

only about heavy metal oracles...

Brayden Green |

Likewise; you're replacing a melee-oriented oracle, so ya got some bloody shoes to fill. "{
You forgot to put "blind" in there... :D

![]() |

I think Amnur is level one Vari, or maybe he's leveled now that this module is over... Hmmm
1xp per adventure, typically, and 3 xp to level.

![]() |

Ah yes, that's right. And I could choose if each adventure is .5xp or 1xp if I remember correctly. That right?

Levelling up has prompted me to organise all of my boons and whatnot.
This meant looking in the Guide to PFS.
Which reminded me that I own a Paizo Golem T-Shirt and every single Pathfinder Tales novel.
So, Brayden,
If I uploaded a picture of me in my t-shirt, surrounded by novels, would you be willing to sign off the paperwork for the novel boons and thumbs-up for a free re-roll in the next adventure?

I trust you, I wouldn't require you to upload a picture of the books and T-shirt. If you would like to, I wouldn't say no just for the sake of knowing what you look like, lol.
The T-shirt re-roll bonus may only be applied before you know the results of the roll you want to replace (which normally isn't a big deal online because of the lag.) As far as the boons go, I would just need a list of the boons that you have, the source they come from, and word for word text of what they give you before you use them (prefferably before we start playing again, but you can have until the end of the week if you want to get that in for this next session.)
Congrats, and I'm a little jealous. I have long wanted the Pathfinder Tales, but my money keeps disappearing to Paizo products with the word "Ultimate" in it recently.

I'm slightly addicted to Golarion; I've got that frame around my avatar because I'm a campaign-setting-superscriber.
I'm the opposite though, I take much longer to collect rule-books. I've got the bestiaries, CRB, APG and GMG but I only just bought the GMG and third bestiary. Not sure I'll ever catch up with the ultimates. Next biggest temptation is the NPC codex.
I'll cut-and-paste the boons into the 'boons' spoiler in my character sheet.
I like the idea that Mylvwara has learnt something from all of her time in the Society Archives.

![]() |

Just spending some pp and cash: the chronicles give access to some super-powered stuff but I can't afford it.
Going to get a shining wayfinder (PFS Field Guide).

![]() |

NPC Codex isn't bad, particularly if you want to just grab a guy with a preset background for use. I've done it a couple of times for my home campaign. I'd arguably just go with the PDF instead of shelling out for the book, but that's my opinion.
On that note, I do have a GenCon volunteer t-shirt, as well as the PC Folio. I'll probably be using it when I botch a concentration check or something.
Also, @Mylv, jealous of your low, low PFS number :P

![]() |

I didn't even notice that number thing before now: I only signed up by accident when they started PFS and I was playing about to see how it worked.
Mylvwara is my first in-play PFS character.
My first one was a mistake (I even called it 'Oops' and I've never had a chance to play Mivvy, PFS-PC no.2).
My first subscription volume from Paizo was The Skinsaw Murders, so I've been knocking around the boards for a while.
I've never been to a con though. Keep on meaning to go to PaizoconUk but there's always some problem: usually work.

So when were we going to get started? Are we waiting til after Easter or something?

Brayden Green |

It was going to be yesterday, but then I got a root canal...
OUCHIE!!!

Brayden Green |

I'll set it all up today, do you all want to do it on this thread since it is a part 2?
I think we can just leave it here unless you all want a fresh start. That way we won't have to bounce back and forth between threads to research something we said or did...
I'll set it up here, and if we want to start fresh on another thread, I can set that up too.

![]() |

Fine with me to do it on this thread.
Sorry to hear about your root canal... those suck... i just had a new crown put on yesterday, so I can empathize.

Brayden Green |

So I am bringing you in soon... After everyone realizes that Lauranna is gone and has the appropriate response and RP, (ie if they want to go back, Raimondo will say that they can't, because they have supplies to save lives, etc etc) then you have the all clear to come into the story.
Basically, when the encampment learned that they were on the way they sent out what little forces they had left to drive off the consortium, and headed off an entire clan. You were working as a medic, healing whom you could and overseeing the transporting of the rest to the injury ward, when you got back to the battle, it was over. There are a half dozen of you left, and those that are left wanted to go back to the camp to get more men in case they get attacked again.
You have stayed behind for whatever reason (get supplies, loot bodies, feel a strong reason to meet the PCs in person for whatever reason, feel a duty to meet your obligation and the "original command"... whatever your character would feel appropriate.)
You can either meet the PCs on the road, or at the battle site. Your choice. How do you want to do this?

![]() |

Ok, I deleted my stat check in the gameplay thread - I just thought you were assuming I'd already joined them because you said 'everyone make the check'.... lol, all fixed now.
I'll do whatever works easiest for you, how's that? On the road or at the battle site - whichever is fine with me, as long as they don't take me for a consortium spy or something lol.
