I will be running the Evergreen scenario, The Confirmation [5-08], for the second session of Gameday VI. This scenario is for Level 1-2 characters.
The first six to post here will be accepted to play. This game will start promptly on October 6th.
Please be prepared to post a minimum of once per day. During combat, I will bot any player who has not posted within 24 hours. Outside of combat, all choices will follow the "rule of 2", and players will only be botted if there is an important skill roll which they are necessary for.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Synopsis:
A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for level 1-2.
Almost all Pathfinders undergo extensive training for three or more years to learn the tricks of the trade, and their last test before graduating from the ranks of the initiates to the status of a full Pathfinder agent is the Confirmation, a special research project that involves considerable fieldwork and is designed to simulate the initiates' future work as a Pathfinder. Even the noteworthy field commissioned agents sometimes participate in such trials as a way to familiarize themselves with the Pathfinder Society’s rules and expectations. Although Confirmation is typically an individual affair, the society recently discovered a site on the Isle of Kortos that would be perfect for initiates but perhaps too dangerous to handle alone. Successfully uncovering this site’s secrets will not only contribute to the society’s body of knowledge but shape the exciting careers ahead for each of the prospective agents.

Absolutely! Yes and yes.
My favorite template for PbP characters
There are many different templates, but this is the one I use. The tagline goes above each post you make. It is a helpful reference. The rest is your digital character sheet. It, like a real character sheet, takes some time and effort to fill out. But, after the initial construction, it is easy to maintain.
As for PbP, it is easy once you get used to some of the formatting. See Painlord's PbP Guide as a starting place. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Have you played PFS before?

I'd like to be added to the waitlist too please. I'm an experienced PFS player/GM but have not tried PbP before and am looking forward to seeing how it works. If a spot opens up for me I will likely play a brand new level 1 Nagaji bloodrager or a brand new level 1 Half-Elven Psychic, though I also have other options if need be.

Have you played PFS before?
Have been playing PFS with the local lodge for two years and GMing for one year.
Interesting...I just now noticed that GM stars don't appear on the campaign boards.
Need to look at my GM babies and figure out which dash to use. Based on what others have put up for character suggestions I will probably go with something melee-martial and/or divine oriented.

I can play just about anything from caster to bard to melee to thief.
We have:
Sirius Sa'Luk as a Thief
Ystrizz as an Alchemist
WallBanger Melee-Martial or Divine
So, what can I bring?
If we need some healing powers, I have a bard and druid who can heal. My druid is melee based and has a nice tiger companion, and my bard is a good old fashioned face.
For arcane I have a offensive Wizard and debuffer Mesmerist.
And the usual assortment of other odds and ends, depending on what the group would like....

And it looks like we got a bard, so I am going to play my Wizard, Brundie Hands, with his familiar Hoppy Cottontail.

Is this game full? I would like to join if not.
My dream is to fly. I would often stare longingly after the hawks I would tend for the nobles in Taldor. There was just always an itch inside of me that yearned to chase after them into the skies. After the my third employer sent me away for daydreaming more than mucking the cages I found myself homeless living in the forests outside the city. One morning one of my old charges, a Hawk named Kizen was perched in a branch above my meager camp. I tried to sho it back to it's master. Three days and the bird still hadn't left. I couldn't stay in the area any longer. If anyone happened to find some vagabond in the woods with his former master's falcon I would be thrown into the city prison for sure.
I made my way to Absalom. I had heard of a group of people who might have need for a falconer. They didn't just want me, they threw me in with their new recruits with a new name: Haana. With the Pathfinder Society at my back I may achieve my goal of soaring with Kizen one day.
(OOC) My name is Derek, I live in the mountains in Colorado (Mountain Time Zone) so far in the mountains that our internet is at times as slow as dial-up (think "The Shining"). This makes most gaming online impossible, heck I can't even stream a video on Netflix. The internet works... for things like email, facebook, ect. anything with a video takes a lifetime to load. I just learned about PbP and am pretty excited about it. I am not entirely sure how it works, but can learn as I go or before the scenario starts as much as I can! I play PFS once a week at a "local" game store. I say local, but I have to drive an hour each way to play. It isn't always ideal, and although I do really enjoy the group, and will probably continue playing there even if PbP works out well, I would like to play more than once a week, and I can't justify making the drive twice per week to play.
My character is a Sylph (F) Ranger (falconer)- Sorcerer, in that order for now, but I might take more levels in Sorcerer in order to get the fly spell. I enjoy heavier roleplaying games more than heavy combat. I am not opposed to combat, it is better by far than not playing at all. I am excited to try roleplaying online as I feel I am a stronger writer than I am a verbal communicator. I was part of a collaborative story writing forum in highschool that I really enjoyed and feel like Roleplaying online could be a neat experience similar to that.
