Ruke will cast Stabilize on Miri first and then move to Birgit and cast Stabilize on her.

He will check the robed man to make sure he is dead. If he is still alive he will swiftly end it with his dagger. Ruke quietly murmurs to himself "I apologize...this man was beyond redemption."

He then turns to the rest of the group."Please help me get them together so that I may cure them."

When Miri and Birgit are within 30 feet he holds his holy symbol and offers a quick prayer to Sarenrae. "Sarenrae please aid these souls we have more work to do."

Ruke starts channeling positive energy.

With his new companions being cared for my the healer, Bash will tend to the bound and gagged individuals. Making sure to take time to see if any of them are "important".

Gobbo!

Miri and Birgit are healed for 6 each. This should put Miri at 4hp and Birgit at 5hp.

Bash spends a few moments untying the captives, who are extremely grateful for their freedom.

One of the men speaks up and says, "We were worried we were next. They tied that man," pointing at the main that is stretched across the bar, "to the bar and the fellow you ran through with that fancy spear spent the past day beating on him. I'm not sure who he is but he refused to cooperate with them. Obviously they gave him a solid beating for it."

The former captives continue thanking the party and making promises of favors if they are ever needed in the future. One man adds, "There were more of us until this morning. A couple of brutes showed up and took away about a dozen or so people. I overheard them mention taking them to the Prancing Prince. I recall very clearly one of the robed men saying “Once Ismacco arrives, we’ll make a lot of money for the cause by selling these slaves into the Chelaxian market.”

As the party tends to their wounded and assists the captives with their release, Nefti bolts into the room from the front door. Likely he was shadowing the party as they made their way to the docks and was waiting in the shadows until the outcome of the fight was clear. Seeing the man on the bar he runs towards him, checking to see if he is alive.

@Birgit - Noted. I missed that completely. Sorry for the misunderstanding and how that played out.

A note for all on faction missions. They are usually supposed to be confidential, but a lot of times it depends on your faction. One thing that is sure, you cannot accept help for completing your faction mission from anyone other than someone else that shares your mission. If a mission requires a skill check then only you or someone on your mission can make that check. Exceptions to this are when information is gathered by the party or an NPC is killed or captured. In those cases as long as the mission is completed you will get credit. If for example, you needed to capture someone, you could suggest to the party that you should capture the person, but would need to roleplay your reasoning.

@Seika - You will need to make a diplomacy or intimidate check to gather this information, or someone else from your faction can assist.

@Miri - Also noted. On your action, a heal check will be required to determine his state properly. He appears to be untied, thanks to Nefti.

All - Since there are a lot of different actions taking place I will wait till I have a response from everyone before I update, to give you all a chance to do whatever you want to do

Ruke, asking around with the captives you find that no one here matches that name, and no one is familiar with who that is either.

Miri does not have Heal, so untrained.

Gobbo!

As best as Miri can tell he isn't dying, but he appears to be very near death. One thing is for certain, he's not leaving this room under his own power anytime soon. Bruises and cuts cover his body and he has suffered a multitude of defensive wounds on his arms.

Nefti glances back over his shoulder at the Jadwiga, and whispers to Miri, "This is Kafar, my mentor, the one I was tasked to find. There is nothing I can do for him in his state, can one of your friends help?" Nefti appears to be more worried about Kafar than Birgit, which is saying a lot right now.

Gobbo!

With a wave of divine energy, the air around Ruke pulses with magic. Kafar awakens after the magical healing, but he is in rough shape and will likely need extended treatment of his injuries. As Nefti prepares to assist Kafar out of the inn and to somewhere where he can get aid, Kafar adds, "Ugh...as much as it pains me, I owe you one," addressing the group in general, “Your Pathfinder friend was guarded by some half-orcs, big, burly brutes. We don’t usually see their kind ’round here. Not sure where they was from, but they sure smelled bad, like they was stomping through the sewers before they came here.”

With that, and with the help of Nefti, Kafar makes his preparations to leave, fashioning a crutch from one of the broken tables in the room. The other prisoners begin to make their way out the front door and one of them stops as he is passing Chasik and adds, "The Prancing Prince is currently moored at the Imperial Docks, I saw it this morning when I was picking up a load of goods to haul across town. I'd be careful if you are headed out there, rumor has it that it's a slaver. I guess if these madmen were taking us there that rumor just might be true."

Lets crash their party shall we?

Gobbo!

The party, after attending to the business of helping the prisoners out of the Inn and casting ice cold stares and smiles at the departing Nefti and Kafar, arrives at the Imperial docks right as the sun begins to set on the horizon, casting a myriad of colors across the waters of the harbor. Seabirds fly through the air on various errands and the noises of the sea rise up to greet you as you make your way along the piers to your destination.

A tri-masted galleon, the Prancing Prince appears to be in good condition and floats lazily against its mooring along a wide, crate- and barrel-filled dock. No one appears to be aboard her, however, and the standard watch typically found at the gangplank of a docked ship is nowhere to be seen. Atop her bowsprit is a gaudily painted wooden man that appears to be the exact likeness of the Grand Prince of Taldor, Stavian III, hands on his hips, a huge smile across his face, and his legs bent as though he were dancing a jig.

Gobbo!

Thanks for hanging in there while I was out of town folks, back to the game!

Ruke takes the lead, moving as stealthy as a halfling cleric can move. He is followed by others who are not quite as stealthy as he, which doesn't seem to matter, as the ship itself seems eerily quiet. The only sounds you hear besides each others movements are the sounds of the docks around you; gulls, water slapping against the side of the ship, the creaking above you of the masts, and the slapping of ropes against the stowed sails.

As you quietly move below decks you enter the ship's weapon hold. Six large ballistae are housed here, screwed to the deck and mounted on rails so they can be pushed through the swinging doors on the side of the hull and fired at nearby ships. There is no ammunition present for these weapons, however, and the deck is empty. The northwest corner of the room contains an open trap door.

I hate this tricky stuff, its hard to judge reactions by NPCs. Birgit will need to be at the top of the stairs to be able to see them, and will still need to make a perception check. Just because Ruke saw them doesn't mean she will. Since the stairs are a single file type of thing its not going to be possible for someone else to have a bead on them as well, so either you can bum rush them in initiative order or you will have to draw them out.

Birgit Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Luckily her sight holds out and as she creeps down the stairs she sees the half orcs waiting at the bottom, shifting impatiently.

Start Surprise Round

Birgit whispers a word in her native tongue, releasing her magic on the unsuspecting orc at the base of the stairs...

Will Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 My saves so far have been murder for Birgit, sorry!

The orc's eyes flutter for a moment and he turns his attention to the woman at the top of the stairs, realizing that his hiding spot has been foiled.

Each member of the party can now take one action as part of the surprise round. Currently only Birgit has line of sight to the orcs, and you would need to be in her square or further down to have line of sight. You are not able to see them from the middle deck.
