Hi Everyone,

Welcome aboard! A few points of business:

We don't technically start until 9/19, but you can dot into this thread and the gameplay thread, and introduce yourselves IC if you like.

These Quests are six linked "mini-adventures," that can be completed in any order you like. If you played The Silverhex Chronicles, these use basically the same structure.

The link above contains six notes, detailing the quests. As mentioned above, you may complete them in any order you wish. I recommend beginning with Harrow, and Epicenter is intended to be the finale, but ultimately the choice is up to you. It'd be good if you could start talking about that now.

Your employer is Doctor Quolorum of the Sincomakti School of Sciences. Can you identify the real-world inspiration for the name of that school? Please answer in spoilers. The pathfinderwiki page will spoil the answer

Unless someone has a different idea, seems to make sense to me to just do them in the order you posted them..so 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and end with 6

Sorry it took so long. This is my first PbP game using this forum and I somehow missed the fact that there were tabs for discussion and gameplay. I have to run to Walmart right now but I will post when I get back.

Also as a reminder to PJP if he/she is still going to use Crowe the Bloodrager. If he takes Hakon's Inspired Rage:
Crowe can use his own bonuses and panalties if he wants, but he can't use his rage powers unless he starts his own bloodrage (lvl 1, so does not have any anything I think).

So you can use your own rage bonuses and penalties under Inspired Rage (2 higher Str/con. 1 higher will save. but 1 lower AC then Hakon's Inspired Rage). But have to activate your own rage/Bloodrage to use your own powers/blood casting (lvl 1, so does not have any blood casting).

You are also welcome to swap to a different pregen in between each quest if you aren't thrilled with who you have, want to try out someone new, etc.

Hello everyone,

At the encouragement of Jesse Davis, the online VC, I wanted to share a bit of information about how some of the procedures will work for this, as every convention has slightly different policies, especially as this one is online.

Attendance: You are expected to actively participate in this scenario for its entire duration.

Naturally, real life frequently creates hurdles for gaming. If you expect there is a 48 hour period or more when you will be unable to post, please let me know. You won't be penalized for absences I'm informed about. Your character will likely be auto-piloted. If for some reason you will be unable to complete the scenario, please let me know as soon as possible, and we'll work to accommodate that.

If I don't hear from you in seven days or two encounters (whichever comes first), I reserve the right to remove you from the game. You will receive a chronicle with rewards appropriate for the portions of the scenario you participated in. If at least three encounters remain, a new player may be brought in, otherwise a pregen will step in.

Reporting and Chronicles: As soon as this scenario is done, I will report the results. Chronicles will most likely be uploaded to Google Drive, which will allow you to download and print them.

So that I'm not having to track people down after the fact, if I could get your characters' PFS numbers now, that would be great. I believe the only number I have so far is Miteke (141936-5)

Boons and Prizes: Once we complete the scenario, I will make a post with one D20 roll for each player, as well as one for myself. [u]No rerolls may be used here under any circumstances.[/u] Each result of a natural 1 or natural 20 will earn the right to select one of 7 convention boons. Race boons are not included in these selections. Text of boons will be provided to winners to allow for a decision to be made.

Additionally, every week, two players in the gameday will be randomly selected by Gameday coordinators to win a $5 Paizo gift card. One GM per week will be randomly selected to win a $10 gift card.

Please let me know if there are any questions about these policies.

I know weekends are a busy time, so anyone who hasn't yet checked into the gameplay thread will have 48 hours before their spot may be replaced. In the meantime we will be moving ahead with the Harrow quest.

You're welcome to post in advance of your turn, and can post conditionals (I attack A, unless Kyra drops him in which case consider it on B, etc.), or change things later if your action gets completely invalidated.

Wait, WAS this one a core game? Actually now looking back, it doesn't look like it is. So if this is a STANDARD table, Kandal Enderkin is the correct character to apply this one to...

In original recruitment post: "Unless there's strong demand for CORE, this will be a Classic table, open to all the pregens linked above. A CORE table would be limited to pregens of the CRB classes."

So this was a standard table, not CORE. Not sure why you thought it was core, Marnarius...?

1) Humans start with a regional dialect in addition to common so you can add one language depending on the region you are from.
2) A Warpriest gets a free Focus Weapon/Weapon Focus. I assume you took it with the Starknife since you took Cursader's Fury with it. I would list it under your feats or under your special abilities.
3) I would also list sacred weapon as a special ability.
4) Buy some more starknives in case you want to toss a couple. They can also be used as ranged weapons.

I'm not sure if you can take Crusader's Focus at level 1 because you do not actually get the Channel Energy ability until level 4. Someone comment???

Kyra is correct about Crusader's Flurry, it won't be available to your character until 5th level unfortunately.

2) Sacred Fist replaces the free weapon focus (focus weapon) with Improved unarmed strike, and Sacred weapon with Flurry of Blows.
4) I now have 3 starknives.

You are right. I will replace the Crusader's Flurry with Pummeling Style.
