I will adjust her stat line when I get off of work, cant pull up her link from the office

You are the heroes of the Licktoad Tribe, living legends after you triumphed against the terrible goblin cannibal Vorka and recovered many fireworks from her lair. Your tribe used the fireworks to great effect, but one day while you were out scrounging for more fireworks, adventurers came into the swamp and wiped out your tribe. You returned to your home to find it in ruins.

Now homeless, you have decided to travel to the closest tribe of goblins you know about-the Birdcrunchers. Maybe they'll have room for you to join! Only, now that you've arrived in Birdcruncher territory, something seems wrong. The Birdcrunchers appear unusually nervous and frightened, cowering around the entrance to their cave. They aren't even trying to defend their territory. And now, a wrinkled old goblin with bulging eyes is waddling out of the crowd, approaching you. She's obviously some sort of shaman-maybe even the chieftain. If anyone here knows whether or not you can join the tribe, it'd likely be her!

Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh

Well, well! What have we here? Licktoads, by the look of you, and from what I hear, orphans as well, hmm? Looking for a new place to live, I suspect? Well, you might be in luck, because we need new blood. Our own chieftains have been ... lacking ... in chieftainish ways. We've been having problems lately with an ogre and his fire-breathing boars, you see, and any goblins capable of killing the boars and driving off the ogre ... or driving off the boars and killing the ogre ... or ... or whatever-well, they'll not only be welcomed into Birdcruncher territory with open arms. They'll be made chieftains, one and all!

With that, the gathered Birdcruncher goblins suddenly animate into cheers and song. Eager and excited, they surge out of the cave to welcome their saviors, but suddenly freeze as the old woman shrieks out a command for silence. The goblins freeze in place, and she continues in a softer voice. But we can't just assume you're the stuff chieftains are made of. You might just be lucky. No, no ... before we accept you as our saviors and before you'll even have a chance to face off against Pa Munch meat and his pig ... I declare we have a Chieftain Moot!

The gathered goblins erupt into cheers again, and all of you know why- a Chieftain Moot is a day-long festival of games and dares, a tradition among the local tribes when the need to select a new chief arises. Those goblins who want to be considered for the role must endure a number of trials during the moot, and if they survive and win, they earn the respect and support of the rest of the tribe.

Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh barks a few orders, and the Birdcrunchers scurry off to start organizing the moot. Then she introduces herself and invites you into the cave to sit, warm your feet by the fire and tell her your tale.

Like the moot woun´t be prepared before the next day, you have a few hours for brag about how thought you are, tell lies about how many horses you had killed or sing goblin songs!

thanks for the invite! This is really just a dot, I have not played “we be goblins” so whatever Chuffy comes up with will be one big flaming lie! Will you be opening the discussion thread?

Chieftain Chuffy, that sounds really good, Chuffy smiles his best crooked smile at Mummy Sprattleharsh and introduces himself ”Me is Chuffy Lickwound, Me is able to..” Just as he opens his mouth to brag, a large zit pops open on his cheek and begins to ooze down his face like an albino tomato worm crawling out of a large green tomato. Chuffy stops speaking for a moment and licks the pustule off his cheek and continues. SLURP where was Chuffy, Oh yeah Me is Chuffy and me like to stick things and catch things on fire and blow things up…Um…Moot good Idea. Me will think of best lie to tel… me mean song to sing for moot.” sitting down near the fire he picks up a stick and starts poking the fire.

Poog swells with pride at Mogmurch's praise, pleased that his loud proclamations of his skill at riding are proving a fine substitute to any actual skill in that department. "Reta BIG dogslayer. But Most Mightest Zarongel kills MANY dogs... one... two... six... four... MANY dogs!" he says, somehow puffing himself up even more. He throws his arms wide, raising his arms and addressing the gathered Birdcrunchers.

"ZARONGEL SEND VISION IN FLAMES! POOG BE GREAT-GOD'S CHOSEN! WARRIOR OF FIRE! BORN AMIDST SWAMP AND SMOKE!" he proclaims, igniting two fistfuls of belly-button link with the almighty power of his god, watching his lesser brethren marvel and cower at his presence, as his grin contorts into a grimace as he drops the flaming tinder with a yelp and begins frantically blowing onto his singed palms. Aware of the eyes still apon him, he clasps his hands behind his back and addresses his future subjects once more, blinking back tears. "POOG SHOW BIG DUMB OGRE THAT ZARONGEL IS VERY GREAT! NO NEED FEAR!"

As darkness falls, Wise Mummy brings out the fabled Crunchy Crown of the Birdcruncher Tribe-a crown made out of bird skulls and bones and wings and twigs- and places the it near the bonfire.

Tomorrow we will have a new chief. One who kicks that ugly Munchmeat ogre out of Ravenroost. And.. she pauses several seconds mora that what will be a dramatic pause. This future chief will have the right to loot the Chieftain's treasure chest.

If someone tries to know what happened with the previous chief -> Diplomacy or Intimidate DC 13:
A reluctant goblin tells you their last three chieftains went missing and are presumed dead at the hands of Pa Munchmeat and his boars.

But, but, you don´t have to fear nothing. You´re strong and handsome, and clever, and... and... They´ll blame me for scare you away. You can´t go!

FIRST DARE

The first dare takes place in a valley to the south of the irdcrunchers' cave. The chieftains-in-waiting are led to the center of the valley, blindfolded, and given a short bow and three arrows each (each contestant's arrows have fletching of a different color from those of the other contestants so the arrows can be identified after they're shot). The Birdcrunchers clamber into trees or sit on rocks that ring the valley while Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh explains the rules to the blindfolded contestants: She will release three cages of seagulls over the course of a minute, and the blindfolded goblins must shoot down as many of them as possible.

You must make a Perception check to locate the seagulls, an attack roll with a bow to see if it hits with a d100 due being blinded. 3 roounds
And like you surely miss some arrows, a d20 to see where the arrow lands; over you, on a goblin seeing you shot, who knows.

As Mummy Sprattleharsh brings out the bird-bone crown Chuffy's eyes get big and he wipes a little drool off of his chin, causing one of the pustules on his neck to pop. In his excitement he calls out "That is fine Crunchy Crown will look good on Chuffy, it even rhymes! Jumping to his feat he begins to chant, pumping his fist in the air. " Chuffy Crunchy Crown, Chuffy Crunchy Crown, Chuffy Crunchy Crown."

Realizing that no one else had picked up the cheer he quickly sits back down and continues playing with the fire. Eventually he leans over to a fat, short goblin who had come in to hear Mummy Sprattleharsh's speech and asks, "So's what did happen to old chieftain, Chuffy not afraid him just curious like sneaky dog hating cat."

diplomacy: 1d20 ⇒ 17

As the fat short goblin explains Chuffy's eyes get wide and he swallows hard, then when the little goblin says "handsome" Chuffy looks at him funny "Handsome? Birdcruncher not have to lie, Chuffy not scared, well not too scared, him got sharp knife and like to stick stick stick." Chuffy does his best to keep his knees from shaking as he lies to the little birdcruncher.

the next morning

'the things we do for a new home, couldn't this have waited till the afternoon?' Chuffy, not a morning goblin, grumbles and complains as they head to the valley, as they approach with the blindfolds Chuffy quickly looks around. 'Blind folds? Do any of them have whapping sticks? "Beat the blindfolded new b!@#h" was always a fun game, unless you were the new guy' not seeing any sticks, he takes the bow and arrows and allows himself to be blindfolded.

When Mummy yells "begin" Chuffy listens carefully for a seagull to shoot: turning quickly he fires at the beating of wings.

Here goes a wall of text

Chuffy gives a good show, his first arrow passes near a goblin, who started to yell cuffy just to see another arrow flying toward him, so he jumps to the ground to the laugh and amusement of the surrounding goblins. But the third arrow, that´s a shot worth of a chiefhood: The arrow impacts in a metallic bucket to bounce upward skewering through a seagull. The arrow flyes wild to never be seen again, but the dead seagull falls over another one, breaking his wings and making it fall to the ground.

Weldon Chuffy. Applauds Mummy Sprattleharsh, What a shot! And it serve us for the next test. Then she hands the still living seagull to a goblin, who runs away with it.

Retaa does a good job hitting the seagulls with two shots and no killing any goblin with the failed one. There are some applauses and cheers, but the goblin audience is more enthusiastic with Chuffy, for now.

Dogslicer says Croac and his wise words inspire Poog to shot towards the seagulls in the first two arrows. The first fails by much, and its rewarded with
jeers and insults. The second one impact in a seagull earning shome cheers. In the last one Poog can´t hear his trusty Dogfinder due to Reeta yell´s. So he turns to her and shots, usually Reeta will take that as a challenge, but she´s too occupied in claiming her girlybits are good for gods, toads and vermin in general and didn´t even notice the incoming arrow.

Mogmurch shots backwards before realizing the seagulls are in the other side, but results in some laughs. The second shot goes toward the birds, but being blinded affects his aim and he hits in an goblin ear. Making him yell in pain and everybody laugh at his cost. Bored of such a shabby weapon, Mogmurch drops the bow and picks one of his bombs as he removes his blindfold. All the tribe start to complain until a BUMMM is heard and seagull parts rains over everybody, for delight of everygoblin.

And the end of the dare almost everybody is going to talk with Chuffy, to know who he can shot so well. The goblins with more scars go to talk Reeta and congratulate her for being a decent archer, for a girl. But with good girlybits, for a girl of course.
Mopgmuurch and Poog also had some followers, not as many as the other Licktoads, but enough to be clear the goblin tribe wants one of you as a chief. Better you than then

She is sensitive about being second best shooter."

As he continues lying they have a way of becoming even more unbelievable. "Chuffy even help teach Mogmurch to shoot and to throw bombs, too! Chuffy show all them all that stuff."

He thinks for a moment, "Except Poog, Chuffy not teach Poog how to let toad pee on his head, Poog figured that out on his own."

He follows along after the crowd thinking too himself, ' Chuffy's Crunchy Crown, Chuffy's Crunchy Crown, Chuffy's Crunchy Crown'

Second Dare: Stirge Swamp Stomp

The second dare takes the contestants and the crowd to the west, where a particularly low valley has subsided into a permanent swamp of nasty standing water. A failed attempt by the Birdcrunchers to build a bunch of huts on stilts left behind a haphazard arrangement of wobbly posts protruding from the boggy ground. The goblins have laid wooden planks across several of these posts, creating narrow bridges that stand 10 feet off the ground.

Wise Mummy shows a thunderstone in her hand. When I make BUMM you should run to the stirges and kill them with those boots She point several human sized-boots, surely the remainings of previous raids because all of them are damaged, and a few of them don´t have their pair. Yu don´t explode our swanp. You´ll don´t have more weapons than the boots. A great chief can fight with everything!

Several goblins go toward you to pick yours bows, bombs, weapons and Poog holy symbol.

You are supposed to kill te stirges with your mighty boots, not with fireballs, but if someone want to try to hide something just roll for it

Dare rules:

Human Boots: The big boots the goblins wear are cumbersome and reduce the wearer’s speed by 5 feet. In addition, the goblins attempt Acrobatics checks at a –2 penalty while wearing the boots. You can attack with them with unarmed strikes.

Planks and Posts: Each plank and post is 1 foot wide and slightly unsteady. A successful DC 7 Acrobatics check is required to move along a plank; a goblin falls if she ever rolls 5 or less on such a check.

Stirges: A total of 12 stirges are tied to posts. Each stirge can attack anyone within 5 feet of its post. Killing a stirge earns a goblin points. Once all 12 stirges are dead, the dare ends.

Falling: It’s only a 10-foot fall from a post or plank to the swampy ground. Those who fall are disqualified and can accumulate no more points during this dare. But you can continue actiing in your turn to bother the remaining goblins

Last Goblin Standing: The dare ends automatically as soon as only one goblin remains on the planks and posts. That goblin earns more points.

Chuffy listens to Mummy carefully, smiling when she shows the thunderstone. His ego having gone to his head, he goes over and finds the biggest clunkiest boots he can, smiling at the other goblins he says; "Chuffy take biggest baddest boots, show how new chief stomp stuff!"

Putting on the big clunky boots he returned to the starting line and when Mummy threw down the thunderstone with the promised accompanying BUMM Chuffy took off running straight for the planks in front of him. Tearing across the first plank, onto the second, wanting to show off a little he jumps over the first stirge landing on the third plank on the other side of the stirge.

Poog seems aghast at the Wise Mummy's blasphemous suggestion that Poog DOESN'T use fire. Indignant, Poog holds his head high, taking a tentative step onto the post, and finding it too rickety for his liking, he instead creates a ball of conjured flame, and punts it toward the nearest stirge. "Poog no need weapons or stinky boot. Poog use great burning boot of his god!" Strictly speaking Poog HASN'T had his wand of fireballs taken off of him, but that amount of overkill would likely result in his being disqualified.

Yeah, no overkill. That´s why the rules are for. Buuuut, there´s no reason for your fire bolt to not work. And all the goblins are arsonist at heart, so how can blame you for a little fire?

Poog asks his good for a burning foot, and his good answer with what looks more like a fire bolt hitting a stirge to toast it really good. Don´t know wich stirge are you shooting at, so please Poog remove one

Backing up a little, Poog takes a great running leap, just barely landing on the opposite plank. Rubbing his hands together, he lets loose a flashy curtain of flame. Relying on fire bolts exclusively will probably trivialise this encounter, so I'm going to limit my spell/SLA use from here on out and try to keep making these acrobatics rolls. Mogmurch walks the plank like a professional and jumps near a stirge to kick it with so few strengh the creature is unsure if it´s being hit or not. No AoO, they´re tiny so unless you put voluntary in its square it can´t reach you

Rita goes to "help" Chuffy, what clearly means wait until the stirge had finished with him before attack as well as she know. But she does so cunningly taht looks even unintentional. Unfortunately for her, Chuffy is able to get free this time so her plan is malogred.
