What has surprised you about what you’ve found here?
Medrick takes a moment to think. Well... the synthetic goo and the monsters made up of it are the most interesting. The goo makes me wonder if this is an engine and the goo is the lubricant. I really look forward to solving this mystery. He stops talking, hoping that what he said is enough.
You seem disappointed in your medical skills, have you been training at them long?
When the booth calls out his ineffective medical skills, he gets ashamed again. I am very disappointed in my skills. I thought my study of medicine would really help my group. I am supposed to be a combat medic and ready to administer aid at any moment. But I hardly helped my friend when he needed it. My bandage work was perfect and it didn't help. But some mystical power can do it all. He sighs.
He realizes he has gone off a bit. But I have been studying for a few years. I am in my 5th year. I work for the society as part of a my internship to gain practical experience. It has been going very well and I may even stick around after I finish my required work. But maybe part of the internship is learning the limits of medicine and the uses of mystic magic.
What’s the best thing about being a Starfinder?
Medrick smiles. Well that was a nice lead in to this question. The best part is finding the ways that my books actually apply to real life. I have spent so much time reading boring text books thinking that they well never matter. But by looking at the properties of the boo, I was able to determine that it was synthetic and that is probably used as a lubricant. When reading about synthetic lubricant I remember thinking that this would never apply to me. But here I am, in a cavern on a false moon, recognizing this goo. That is my favorite part. Plus, I feel like I am working for the "Good Guys" so that helps me feel fulfilled.
Medrick leaves the booth. I think I rocked those answers. He looks at Wazasha in hopes of some reaction. Hey, just wondering. How are we doing with the fans? Do they like us? Whether she answers or not, Medrick announces to the group, Well I am ready to head out.

Do you trust the dwarves?
"No. I can't say I trust many people. And these dwarves are either lying or crazy. Either way, it's dangerous."
What about being a Starfinder makes you mad?
"Having a whole gaggle of reporters watching my every move. I never signed up to be a circus attraction. Pay is too low for that."
Tyrin nods to Medrick.
"Yup. Let's get this over with."

Holsin looks eager to get moving, "Thank you for helping me friends." The camera crew appears to zoom in on his face as he says this and with that you are off. The tunnels extend only another mile up, and you reach the uppermost cavern after about 90 minutes of travel. After traveling half that distance, the air becomes visibly cloudy, and as you continue to travel the toxic gas obscures all distant objects and terrain, giving the caverns a spooky and menacing ambiance.
You are no longer affected by grease, however:
You realize, soon, that you are not alone in this chamber, as it contains several goblins who look similar to the goblins you have already encountered, as well as larger goblin wearing some sort of Powered Armor. Thrug shouts out, "That Big Genius Polbak, he's scary." And with that the goblins train their weapons on you and begin firing. Image available here.

At this point, after the goo, climbing over debris, getting shot, digging through wreckage, and now wandering through some icky mist, Lily looks like she's had enough.
She turns to the camera as she pulls her firearm. "Look, ordinarily, with that blade, those teeth, the extra arm, his evil little eyes, normally I bet you viewers out there would luh-ove to see him tear into something adorable with pink hair. But today? I'm just realizing I never had my COFFEE!"

I know this may seem counter-intuitive but I believe that you still have to roll concealment miss chance for a grenade and if you roll under, you don't miss completely but you will have a scatter if you roll under the required number to hit on the d100. Also which intersection exactly? You may have cover to throw there and it appears to be in the second range increment.
Rolling concealment for Sebrir as requested. 1d100 ⇒ 61

Blue Goblin: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Because of the distance that Sebrir has to throw the grenade along with the panache in which he threw it both of the little goblins seem to have dodged away and do not take as much damage. However, despite being a genius, Polbak takes the brunt of the grenade right to the face.

Tyrin will move forward and build a barricade from rocks and scraps in the area.

I am confused? Why is everyone the size of 2 squares on the map? is it not the normal scale? I shrunk myself, to make it easier to count movement, but if the scaling is odd on this map, then feel free to adjust me back to normal size.
Medrick moves in closer to the action but it takes him so long to get in there that he doesn't have time to shoot. He pulls out his arc pistol as he moves. With this fog, I may need to switch to melee.
Double move action
EDIT
On further inspection, I am going to assume the scaling is weird since the blast of the grenade is 30 feet across but 60 ft up and down. So I am a bit confused.

The scaling is a little weird, just assume that two squares up and down is one square.

Combat Tracking (Ex): As a move action during combat, you can designate a foe for your exocortex to track. As long as that target is in sight, the exocortex feeds you telemetry, vulnerabilities, and combat tactics, allowing you to make attacks against that target as if your base attack bonus from your mechanic levels were equal to your mechanic level.
"Ok Janet, let's do this."
He then readies an action to shoot any goblin that comes through the fog into view.

Since no one seems to object to Wazasha's request to have the crew enter first she motions for them to enter before you. You then follow. Stand by for wave of text.
The door exits onto an elevated walkway that runs along the length of a horizontal cylindrical space that’s several hundred feet in diameter and that extends as far as the eye can see to the right and left. At several points along its visible length lie heavy doors like the one that you opened.
Most notably, though, you spot a digital terminal near their door, its display glowing with strange alien text that quickly cycles through various forms before stopping on Common. See here.
At a second glance, you all can see that each of the doors along this huger gallery have a similar terminal next to them, suggesting there are untold numbers of other simulation chambers sustaining other artificial worlds within the moon.
As the chamber’s sensors detect the toxic gas and begin venting it out of the apparent simulation, Wazasha states, This is the perfect cliffhanger to stop filming on. Please assemble for one last action shot. The camera crew snaps dozens of pictures for promotional purposes, You may attempt a charisma check to appear especially brave, powerful, or stylish in these images.
Just after the camera crew takes the last set of pictures, Wazasha asks aloud, "How about we hear how they’re wrapping up the event in the studio?" She pulls up a program on her wrist computer, which plays the live audio feed with Zo! shouting excitedly.
"What a discovery! What a destination! What a band of unlikely heroes! What could lie deeper in Salvation’s End? Find out on the next episode of Live Exploration Extreme! when the Starfinder Society returns to—" "What?” shouts Luwazi with alarm from near Zo!'s microphone. “That was not part of our deal, Zo! You can’t just add a sequel when we haven’t—" Zo!'s voice insistently cuts back in. “Ha ha! And now a word from our sponsors!"
A booming add for Nova Solutions blares out of Wazasha's computer before she closes the program, rolls her eyes, and orders the teams to retrace their way to the surface.
Wazasha states matter of factly, there are likely more deadly threats beyond, Luwazi Elsebo likely wants to give you a proper debriefing before sending you deeper into the unknown. Furthermore, there’s still the question of what to do with the Marbleheart dwarves. The gaping hole through which we arrived and the open door into this chamber have likely shattered the artificial existence in which the dwarves have lived for at least a century, and the existence of a larger galaxy beyond their tiny world may inspire some to travel the stars. For others, the stress may be too much without patient mentors to guide their path. It’s clear, though, that given the malfunctioning machinery, remaining in the simulation isn’t a viable option.
Back on the Exemplarion, Luwazi seems somewhat frazzled as she meets with you to hear your un-glamorized accounts of your expedition. She reports that Zo! is desperately trying to negotiate for additional filmed excursions, but so far she’s left him with a curt "We’ll see." Prior to dismissing you, Luwazi asks , So, should Live Exploration Extreme! return for another episode or not?"
After answering you are free to partake in the endless festivities on the Exemplarion, where you can bask in the fame of your performances. You arrive back at Absalom Station shortly after the live broadcast reaches the Pact Worlds. You atr invited as guests to a host of programs, game shows, nightclubs, and other events. Sadly, the fame only lasts for about a week, after which the news cycle quickly latches onto new short-term celebrities.
It's only a matter of time before you receive their next call to explore the galaxy and make a name for yourselves.

Haha I was honestly ready for a party annihilating final encounter; like what happened when another similar set of doors opened up in another adventure >.>
Lily jumps into the middle front of the group pic (since she's the shortest), and poses like she's blowing the smoke off the tip of her tactical pistol.
Charisma Check!: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
After the group has moved back to Absalom Station...
If Lily was a Wayfinder, I'd feel she'd care more for the Dwarves, who are essentially a new "First Contact" species, having been separated from the Pact Worlds. But since she's Second Seekers, and wants the Fame and Glory to go to the Starfinder Society, she'd be in favor of a return sequel to Salvation's End. Totes.
"Lu, think of the PUBLICITY! The VISIBILITY! Not to mention the swag potential. Can you imagine little holo-dolls of me and Sebrir?? Cuh-UUTE!! Sign me up!"

That felt really short!! I was kinda hoping for a final battle as well! LOL

Medrick tries to hold a heroic and brave pose for his photo.
charisma: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
But like much of his actions this adventure, his pose falls flat.
I find this all so fascinating! Of course I would be interested in returning for the next episode! I wonder what other oddities we can find. Also, I hope we can find information on who made this and for what purpose!
He then looks at his branded armor and weapon, Any chance I get to keep the gear?
So this is all wrapped up? How did we do on fan favor points? Thanks for running this adventure for us! I appreciate it!
