Tyrin clicks on his flashlight and heads into the darkness.
Slowly... So that others can jump ahead or call him back as needed.
Drehpehs Koob

Drehp activates his Infrared Sensors and moves with the party, drawing his pistol in what he hopes is a heroic way.
Tyrin Amogold
|
Tyrin looks over his shoulder and sees weapons drawn and readied stances. He draws his own pulsecaster rifle and mounts the flashlight to it, then moves ahead.
He speaks softly, to no one in particular:
"They want big damn heroes, let's give 'em big damn heroes."
He will take point and set a slow and methodical pace, using his 20ft movement to that advantage.
Perception take 10: 10 + 4 = 14
Medrick
|
Medrick does his best to not react to the large noise. He tries to hold a proud stance and then quickly moves to get between the noise and his allies. Once it is clear that his allies plan to move toward the sound, he draws his pistol and takes the lead with Tyrin.

As you all rush into the next area, where the explosion came from, the camera crew sets up in position filming what is sure to be an exciting scene.
You see, what appears to be three Space Goblins, as well as some sort of strange creature that resembles a large, six-legged armadillo with compound eyes, iridescent banded armor plates, heavy digging claws, and a pair of rasping tongues. The goblins spot you and one of them slaps the creature encouragingly, "Git em"
Tyrin Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Can we identify this critter?
So "Lily" Quy

I can't seem to edit the map =(
Also, are only certain d20s capable of being done with pizzazz? Or any and all of them? Like for my rolls below, would it just be the Bluff check? Just the Attack? Both? Or neither, since you didn't give us the option this time?
(for these rolls I'll go ahead and apply the -4)
Lily moves forward, hugging the walls so her companions can wade into melee unhindered.
Can someone move me 30ft in against the wall?
"I say we shoot it first, ask questions later. Nothing raised by Goblins can be good."
Bluff, Trick Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 9 + 4 - 4 = 20
Tactical Pistol: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 - 4 = 18
Pistol Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Extra Damage?: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Tyrin Amogold

I think Dreph and I got switched in starting location. I'm going act from that location.
Tyrin will take a 5 foot step (to the square between medrick & the camera crew) and build a barricade.
"Let's see here. A bit of bat guano, some of these strange metal bits. A few rocks... Ta Da! A castle fit for a goblin."
He then pulls back a section of his helmet and exposes his pair of antennae.
Readied to use his lashunta daze if any goblin enters within 25ft of him. (DC 12 Will)

Should be fixed now.
Also, are only certain d20s capable of being done with pizzazz? Or any and all of them? Like for my rolls below, would it just be the Bluff check? Just the Attack? Both? Or neither, since you didn't give us the option this time?
You can do any of them but you should describe what you're doing when you do this.
(for these rolls I'll go ahead and apply the -4)
"I say we shoot it first, ask questions later. Nothing raised by Goblins can be good."
Don't forget to name your target directly, I assume from the language used you are targeting the armadillo.
Lily hugs the wall as she attempts to shoot the creature and distract it with a flourish, unfortunately as she is attempting to distract it one of the cameras lights flashes directly in her eye and she is herself momentarily distracted and the creature seems unaffected by her attempt to distract. However, her shot rings true and the creature winces in pain.
Tyrin: You are not quite up yet.
Raia: You recognize this creature as a young spicodranth and you know two things about it.
Drehpehs: You also recognize this creature as a young spicodranth and know one thing about it.
Whoever responds first gets their preference of thing to know, the other person can know 1-2 (depending on which of you it is things.)

The goblins will go next. Upside down Goblin fires at Medrick
Upside Down Goblin Junk Laser: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
and misses
The rightside up goblin will fire his Junk Laser at Lily.
Right Side Up Goblin Junk Laser: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
and also misses.
The sideways goblin and the Spicodranth will make saving throws against the grease.
Sideways Goblin Reflex Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Spicodranth Reflex Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
The Spicodranth succeeds but the goblin just barely fails and falls prone. The sideways goblin on his turn doesn't move and fires his Junk laser at Lily.
Sideways Goblin Junk Laser: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
and hits Lily takes Junk Laser Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4 damage.
Drehpehs, Tyrin and Medrick you are now up. Tyrin would you still like to ready?
Sebrir Feedbringer

"Viewers, just look at those goblins, the way they muck about is just deplorable. I do believe it is time to remove them from existence, don't you think? Now, Starfinders aren't necessarily seekers of violence, let me make that clear, but we do know how to rid ourselves of some pesky goblins!"
Intimidate the gobbos, if possible: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 8 - 4 = 6 Bah.

Resistances or Immunities, please. And Drehp will shout the information to the team.
Drehp calls forth mystical shooting stars, one for each of the goblins.
Upside down: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Right side up: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Sideways: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Wow, max max damage. Woot!
Spells 1:2/3
Tyrin Amogold
|
Gotcha, let's just disregard the previous post and use this instead.
Tyrin will pat Sebrir on the head before moving into the fray.
"Good try, Kid."
He will then move up and take a shot at the closest goblin.
Attack: Pulsecaster Rifle: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Electric Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Medrick
|
When Medrick hears about the creatures electrcity advantage, he moves forward to make himself the target but also tries to stay out of the way of Tyrin. As moves, he draws both her static arc pistol and his semi-auto pistol. The creature looks more like a threat. He then fires ones at the strange creature.
semi-auto pistol (KAC,Spicodranth): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
damage (critical): 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6
of course... I crit when I use my weapon that doesn't do anything fun when I crit.
Shaudius
|
As moves, he draws both her static arc pistol and his semi-auto pistol.
Only one weapon per movement.
When Medrick pulls out and fires his semi-auto pistol the creature reels out in pain, the camera crew gets in slightly closer to get a shot of the action and Wazasha fervently types on her datapad.
Raia:
The Spicodranth closes on Medrick and attacks with its claw. Claw: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 and misses.
Sorry for the delay, Sebrir, Lily and Raia, you're up.
So "Lily" Quy
|
Lily continues to advance along the edge of the wall, and uses her rapid, jerking movements to simultaneously distract the Spicodranth and entertain the audience.
Bluff to Trick Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 9 + 4 - 4 = 24
And she continues to shoot in full view of the camera.
Tactical Pistol: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 - 4 = 11
Pistol Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3 (I rolled wrong damage last time )
Extra Damage?: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Sebrir Feedbringer
|
Sebrir moves forward into full view of the camera crew. "Viewers, look at these sad creatures! The Starfinder society has already shown that they can handle such threats."
Sebrir then fires his laser pistol at the nearest goblin.
attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Shaudius
|
Sebrir's laser pistol rips through the goblin and it yelps out in pain and drops to the ground.
The remaining goblin looks visibility shaken and fires his junklaser at Lily. Junklaser on Lily: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 for damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4 making Lily bleed some of her own blood. (that's 8 damage total so far.)
The undead camera crew moves up even closer to the action and Wazasha posts the following to the infosphere:
"Heroes vs. Goblins and Spicodranth. Live. Exploration. Extreme. #LEE #SFS #EPICCLIMAX"
Drehpehs, Tyrin, and Medrick you're up.
Tyrin Amogold
|
Tyrin will move up between the Spicodranth and Sebrir, then builds a barricade.
"Never underestimate even the most trivial of fights. It would be a shame if a pop star were to be disemboweled by such a sad creature on live stream."
Medrick

Medrick carefully takes a step back. As he does so, he pulls out his other gun. This creature is resilient! But we can get it down.
He fires his pistol at the Spicodranth again, hoping for similar results.
semi-auto pistol (Spicodranth, EAC): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
His shot hits the wall rather than the enemy. I can't keep wasting this ammo!
Guarded step move action attack as a standard action.
Drehpehs Koob

Drehp touches his temple as he concentrates deeply, calling forth a glut of psychic information on the spicodranth.
Mind Thrust, Will DC14 1/2: 2d10 ⇒ (9, 7) = 16

Tyrin Amogold

Tyrin surveys for additional threats before knocking down the barricade and beckoning the camera crew forward.
perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
He then walks up to the goblin points his rifle at its head.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 9 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 9 - 4 = 9 With panache
Edit: Or not...
"I suggest you tell the woman what she wants to know."
This is mostly for the cameras to "loom ominously" not necessarily to extract info.
Sebrir Feedbringer

"Viewers, as you can see, these goblins were nothing to us. Starfinders deal with their like every day as if they were nothing but laser cannon fodder. Now, little green brute, tell us what we need to know."
Intimidate with flair: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 8 - 4 = 6 LOL. Nope.
Drehpehs Koob
|
Drehp gets in the goblin's line of sight and visibly moves his fingers to his temple, keeping eye contact.
Never mind, I'll just take the information from his brain. Of course, his brain will be mush when I'm done. Stand back, this will take a few minutes and be extremely painful for the goblin...
We can't all roll badly on Intimidate, can we?
Intimidate: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 LOL, I guess we can.
Medrick
|
Medrick puts his unused gun away. He then makes a show for the camera of him reloading the other gun as he walks over to the goblin.
Look, we aren't here to just kill you. We are exploring and if you allow us to, you may make it out of this alive.
diplomacy (flair, untrained): 1d20 - 1 - 4 ⇒ (15) - 1 - 4 = 10
Medrick makes a big show for the camera of him trying to carry out the oath of helping humanoid creatures when possible. Every TV show needs someone for the viewers to hate at home haha as a side note, I forgot to mention this but Medrick always has his arc pistol set to stun (non-lethal damage) unless he actively changes it.

"I just lowly exhaust drinker, my clan, I no work for anyone. No hurt me. We just come to this chamber, find lots of stuff to make big booms. We not get to other side yet."
As you are talking to Thrug, Wazasha posts a poll to the infosphere.
1. Execute the vermin!
2. Let the Goblin Go (boo!)
3. Bring Her Along!
Within seconds, the votes are in:
1. Execute the vermin! 30%
2. Let the Goblin Go (boo!) 15%
3. Bring Her Along! 55%
And the winner: Bring her along!
Wazasha shouts to you, "The people want you to bring the goblin with you!" to which Thrug replies, "Yes, take me with you! Me big help make help make BIG BOOM."
Once you decide whether to follow the will of the studio audience, the clearest path out of this chamber is to climb up the wreckage from the goblin's explosion into the chamber above, this requires a successful athletics check but first...
Wazasha invites Lily followed by Sebrir into the booth. This happens one at a time but in the interest of time, I will do both of your solo scenes at once.
What's the best thing about being a Starfinder?
What do you hope to find here?

"If the viewers say she goes with us, then by all means! Just make sure you're a good little goblin, my new friend!"
So Sebrir, what's a famous celebrity like you doing hanging around with such average people?
"I assure you, dear viewers, that though some of my compatriots may lack in flair, there is no such thing as an 'average' Starfinder... I joined the Starfinders because they include some of the most interesting and enchanting creatures in the galaxy! Take my dear Lily, for example... never have I seen a halfling who exudes such confidence, grace, and beauty. Why, perhaps I will proposition her for a date after this exciting adventure is over! Feel free to comment on whether you feel this is a good idea, a great idea, or an EXCELLENT idea, and feel free to leave suggestions on the best way to 'make my move,' as one might say!"
You have grenades, but you never use them. Why not?
"I considered using one of my frag grenades during that last battle, but was warned that flames would be less than ideal against the spicodranth, so I decided to focus my fire on the goblins with my trusty pistol. Rest assured, if there is a group of vermin whom will not resist such attacks, I will gladly make use of my incendiaries."
What about being a Starfinder makes you mad?
"Mad? Why, the only thing about Starfinders that I find mad is that more people don't join! I have found every mission to be quite exciting and rewarding!"

Intimidate: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
