So I want to get into PFS and I decided that DMing would be one of the best ways to do so. As it turns out there is one in Pezzack, which happens to also be a place in a Pathfinder novel I am reading so i decided, despite the bad reviews, I decided to run this adventure.

Would anyone be interested from levels 1-2 to get involved in this? I'd like to only have to DM for four players on my first PFS game.

As long as everyone can post once in the evening that will be enough, although the more posts a night the merrier, but I myself will not be posting until the evenings though.

I might put this Fighter up for consideration though I'll need to update him to reflect his level of 5.

I'm interested, James, but I do want to point out that, from the reviews, this might not be the best scenario for a brand-new PFS GM to run. Make sure to read through it like 50 times before you totally commit to this, as you don't want your first PbP to be one that falls apart.

I have this 3 life oracle that i wouldnt mind brining if there is room.

Alright I don't have my normal work hours tomorrow so I will begin reading over the adventure then. As for recruitment I'm planning on taking the people who signed up first, which would be:

You know what, I can imagine how hard it is getting into a PbP adventure, as I assume that there aren't a lot of DMs out there who want to run a PbP game. What are the odds of me be able to handle a full 6 players? I'l have to read over the rules but if it is doable I would love to.

I'm a one star gm and i find full parties of 6 are easier to run. when you have 4 you need to pay attention to the balancing that needs to be done where as 5 or 6 that isnt a problem you just take the stuff right out of the scenario.

Also that way in pbp if someone misses a few days its easier to just place them in delay and it doesnt hold everything up.

I am definitely in. I think we would be cool to move up to 5 or 6 for the group. The more, the merrier.

So the 4 listed plus some combination of Sir Peter, Seinaru, and Bennybeck to bring us to 6. Sounds good to me.

Seinaru, it looks like James is wanting to run it as a Tier 1-2. Do you have a character in that range you wanted to throw in?

I'll pull a specific class in to balance out what our needs are once we have the 6 selected.

IIRC you have to ask the admins to create an event or something for the pbp game.

I'm a 5 star GM and haven't run a pbp but my advice is just try and keep the game moving. Maybe assume at times out of combat players take 10.

I was just suggesting taking two of the three. Would could technically take all three as this is a situation where we would be turning someone away. Just a thought, as it is really all up to James as GM.

I have not heard about the Confirmation game but am happy to be here.

And once James is ready to go, there should be a hyper link at the top of the page for him that turns this into a campaign.

And im a 3 life oracle

I have only ever played 2 PFS games and they were all with characters of 1st level. Will a 1st level character even be useful in the game with a 3rd level character?

@Bennyback: Absolutely! Trust me, your rogue will be plenty helpful, especially since a life oracle is mostly going to be a healer, so Seinaru won't be overpowering the rest of us in combat, I would think. :)

I think the alchemist is good Sir Peter. I play an alchemist myself. :) It looks like I will be the main one trying to take damage, so I am debating in I want to go Paladin on my Fighter. What do you all think?
