Combat Rules:

Keep in mind that if you're next to each other in Initiative count, you can switch attack order if you want. If you post more or less simultaneously, I'll follow the "official" Initiative order and allow whoever goes second to change his action if something relevant happens (e.g.: the first guy kills the second guy's target).

Additionally, remember that you have 24h before I allow other players to control your character and 48h before I simply skip your turn. Similarly, if I don't post a creature's actions for 48h, you are allowed to consider I skipped its turn.

Last, but not least.. If I have to allow others to control your character or skip your turn twice in a row, I'll start allowing other players to decide your character's actions as soon as your turn comes up for the rest of the combat. I'll still wait 48h before skipping your turn, though.

Well, then...

Eitylen quickly slips into the shadows, unseen by all but himself. His allies aren't as successful... A couple guards notice their approach towards the building leer at the two while pulling their swords.

"What the hell are you doing? Get outta here! This is a private property!"

Both carry a longsword and buckler. They seem better trained and armed than the last thugs you faced... But not by much.

They are unaware of Eitylen's presence... And maybe Brother Cyrus' too... Depends on how well he rolls, assuming he goes for Stealth as well.

BTW, Rynjin, in this fight it doesn't make any difference, but in the future, if one of your attacks deal different types of damage (e.g.: physical, precision and fire damage), please, do separate the damage rolls by type instead of rolling them all together.

The Guard barely deflects Kadir's attack, but fails to evade Eitylen's swift strike. Realizing he's fully surrounded, he decides to withdraw and call for help!

"Argh! Help! I'm being attacked!" he cries... And his allies come to his aid... But they are still a small distance from you.

Kadir and Eitylen (and Brother Cyrus?) can't do anything about his escape, but Tai Leng does get the chance to strike. (You get an AoO, Rynjin)

Eitylen enters the house... There 4 small rooms, one of which smells of food and a second one that smells like vinegar. A 3rd door is half open, revealing just a bunch of simple beds and a few cabinets. The last door, which seems to lead to an small room... Smell like you really don't want to go in there... Unless you are in desperate need of a toilet.

You can hear rushed steps on the floor above him. There are at least 4 people running over there.

Other than the doors to each room, the only thing around is a fancy-looking stair to the 2nd floor.

You see a bunch of wooden crates, just like the ones you found in the old laboratory. Prying them open reveals the same content too, a few glass vials buried in sawdust. All of them filled with the same purple-colored liquid.

Kadir and Tai Leng are able to detect a magic trap in the first step of the stairs. Similar to the one you found in the old laboratory. The sound of footsteps coming from the floor directly above you is soon replaced by the one of blades being unsheathed and crossbows cocked.

Kadir doesn't detect any more traps... At least not 'til he steps on the second to last step. This particular trap was more carefully hidden than the first. He feels a surge of electricity running through his body.

As Kadir looks back, he sees two man appearing out of seemingly nowhere... Almost at the same time, two bolts fly towards him. The mage is quick enough to deflect one of them, but the second one finds its mark.
