Scraps has snowmobile parts too. And when Scraps' muzzle seams open to reveal his complicated articulated camel-spider-like mouth parts, well....

Of course, the 3.5 book "Bastards and Bloodlines" has some truly horrific crossbreeds. Hobgoblin X Dwarf, Mindflayer X Human, Gnoll X Human, Elf X Giant Owl, Elf X Unicorn (bipedal and quadruped versions), Human X Lizardfolk and many other terrible creations.

Ah, mankind's never ending refusal to obey a simple rule: "Don't stick that in there."
Alia of the Blade
Human: Hey elf, you look like a girl.
Elf: To a human, everything must look like a girl.
Human: What?
Elf: Half-orcs, half-ogres…
Human: …shut up.
Dwarf: Half-dragons, half-kobolds.
Human: I said shut up!
Elf: …
Dwarf: …
Human: …
Elf: Centaurs…
Not mine, but hej...there is truth in it...

Bastards and Bloodlines has a creature that is centaur X elf. The book makes it look more like both elves and humans are just as bad.

This sounds like the perfect opportunity to link my favorite template; the Amalgam Creature!
It's really neat : )

I am sure the Stolen Lands have seen worse than Gnome/Homunculus love. Those laws these lands have, I doubt deal with that...and if there are any, I doubt they are enforced.
So don't let that stop you, Posh! That said, while I love Archer quotes, never quite understood that one.
14-15 seems very reasonable, but then that's what I grew up with.
Wow! Europe it the Alabama of Europe!

I'm a big fan of the book (Advanced Bestiary) that came out of--in fact I own two versions of it (3.5, and Pathfinder). I always wanted to make a race of awakened, bipedal griffons or chimera myself.
Anyhow, I'm mostly done with my holiday errands so I should be back at posting tonightish--tomorrow at the latest.

Also definitely don't forget about the (surprisingly tame) crossbreeding chart(seriously, the halflings barely get any action) and the conception/pregnancy duration one.
Just saying.

It's a fun chart, though when I'm a gm I don't really use it since the previously mentioned pdfhas species that contradict it. I am looking into the mask of Lamashtu for this character, though I wish to build a hidden temple/dungeon below the city first for the faithful.
Rejoice for she may spare your lives from your terrible past transgressions! However, I wish to hunt Elves for they are no longer my kin and their existence is an affront to my lady!
Alia of the Blade
Well, there are plenty of PDFs and even more homebrew.
You will find a basis for crossbreeds among all species if you want.
Because magic.
Even if that Harpy and the Minotaur could not regulary get it on, a little bit of magical fairy dust, some chanting and a spell slot of adequate level later, you get your little skybull! Just be careful with those hollowed horns until they harden sufficiently.

This character can circumvent that with the mask, though the only restriction is within one size category and to be fertile/in heat. I think the idea of wolves with humanoid faces like the demon creatures in Gantz.
Not to mention, a fiendish medusa.
Alia of the Blade
What can he circumvent? That any creature can breed any other creature through the use of magic? There are no restrictions.
You want a Hydra/Medusa/Beholder, you make it. Simple as that. And best tell it it's pretty - if you hear hissing, you got a problem.
Because if you mean he can circumvent the need for magic, then I have to tell you the Mask is magical as well...

I meant the use of magic would circumvent most restrictions, but it is through magic, through religious restriction. And size too.

Well, not if you want to avoid a lawsuit. Best make it an Eye from the Deep rather than an an actual Beholder™. Besides, lobster claws.

Hey, I am not going to market it or something...I mean, by the time I am ready to do serial production on these babies, it will all belong to Disney anyway.

Swing and a whew!
RPGGGM
Ouch poor Zokon. Swing and a miss...
@Alia Would it be too much that Posh falls asleep next to her?
Wouldn't that put Posh in the well? And she would have been a 'Mrs.' if her father had found out.

@Alia Would it be too much that Posh falls asleep next to her?
Would her father just kill Posh and consider that as not counting? I know there's an area in Kyronin where they tolerate Gnomes.
In my mind he'd be lying against her like a tree, but I can see how she may not be comfortable with that.
Alia of the Blade
Falling asleep next to her is fine. But he'll be leaning against the well, or falling over.
She'd cover him with a blanket, considering his impending bleaching on her behalf, and accept his light snoring disrupting her meditation.
@Father: I think that was in relation to Zokons arc. Though I'd assume Alias brother would probably run Posh through just to be on the safe side.
I think the region you had in mind was around Cordellon in the north, at the River Kingdoms? May be mistaken.
Alia hails from the southern regions of Kyonin, closer to the 5 Kings mountains. That is, her family did. For obvious reasons, she grew up...elsewhere.

Aww, that would be cute.
We'll cross that bridge with the family meeting if it comes to that.
Also it is a place in Kyonin named Omesta where the gnomes live in trees around the buildings, making it so that they weren't technically trespassing as they were only around the buildings and not in them.

So 'the Holidays' (and nights) are upon us (Christmas, New Years, Festuvus, Crystalhue, etc...). And since folks will be popping in and out because of said holidays for the next day or two at least and then again a week from now I thought I might share this interesting Pathfinder Character Survey I found while wandering the interwebs to see if I could find a list of the most common archetypes. The report itself (a 16 page pdf downloadable via the first link on the article page or here) gives stats on the roughly 10k responses they got showing the top three archetypes by class, what classes were most popular, and what prestige classes people were playing, along with a lot of other interesting tidbits. The survey ran in the first few months of 2017, so it doesn't have stats for anything since then, but still pretty interesting.
Happy Holidays everyone!
Poshment Underhill
Happy Holidays to all and may the force be with you!
On a character note, another part of his personality that pulls him into good is not using things like debts and power to influence over people (Though he may make an example of a villain, say if in power he sticks them in a stockade to throw rotten fruit at.) especially in cases of lust as he finds that behaviour unacceptable and far more fun to win someone over on your own merits.
I think his personality has changed quite a bit by accident with me going through my own trials and tribulations, but I've been attempting to roleplay it off as, being with Esme, has somewhat matured him.
Zokon Santyev
Zokon has a much more plain outlook on things, he was raised to dislike court but his recent fraternisations have given him a better understanding of viewpoints of those from other cultures. He can still be a bit of a stick in the mud.. but he's trying.
Poshment Underhill
@Alia I have to ask, as I'm watching it in a documentary, but is Vega (the cat I believe) based on the Scottish wild cat? I would like to see if this one could be tamed.
RPGGGM
Vega--being a city cat--probably has more in common with the Common Heathcliff than on the Scottish Wildcat, though he and the other feral cats that the Atcher twins were raising probably had something close in their ancestry.
Appropriately enough the picture comes from a Wolf-in-Sheep's-Clothing, a vicious aberrant ambush predator and sock-puppet enthusiast.

Pfft, everyone knows Garfield is the superior 80s orange cartoon cat.
Illthir Winlowe
Happy holidays : )
Alia of the Blade
To be perfectly honest, my mental association with Vega is based on Greebo from Discworld.
I fully expect him to be completely untameable, but I do believe a mutually beneficial agreement of cooperation might come into being, down the line.
That said, I'm not kidding, I fully intend to pick up an awakened Vega with Leadership...and not as comedy relief...more as an agent of internal security doing those things Alia can't and won't.

Happy Holidays all...
As for Alia's comment... Slayer Hellooooo...
RPGGGM
So it looks like folks are heading out for their final confrontation with the Stag Lord. How would you like to go about getting there?
Zokon Santyev
Probably just ride there and at a few kilometres away we sneak in and bushwhack em..
Scarlet Scarab
Trickery isn't my forte, so I suggest guerilla tactics. Sneak around, kill that awful wizard.
RPGGGM
Just a quick check in to make sure that folks are okay with the following defaults assumptions sans Numalar.
MARCHING ORDER
Durgan, Serena, Angus, Alia, Scarlet, Erevenywg, Illthir, Zokon (who occasionally ranges ahead being a ranger and all)
WATCHES
1st - Durgan + Zokon
2nd - Serena + Scarlet + Angus
3rd - Alia + Illthir
Zokon Santyev
I'm ok with the order but.... !!!!!!
RPGGGM
Angus? Is Angus with us?
Nope. Angus is back with the Company. Besides you are flush with bards. ;)
RPGGGM
Also, do you want to have Angus and Posh in the same party? I'm just seeing Bloody Angus using Posh as an improvised shield against the manticore.
Alia of the Blade
An improvised shield that antagonizes the enemy into trying to sunder it?
You are giving me a great idea for a adamantine(or living steel) impervious intelligent shield..."Feeling lucky, punk? Try me!"
Also, I'll revise this:
WATCHES
1st - Durgan + Zokon2nd - Serena + Scarlet + Angus
3rd - Alia + Illthir
Because I have "Keep Watch" prepared.
Technically I would probably propose to cast it on Durgan and Scarlet, who have night vision built-in - but we can 'alternate' that, too - and if my pearl of power is unused at night, I can refresh the spell and cast it on a second group-of-two.So, I would always want to include someone with darkvision, so if we do randomisation, roll once for those with darkvision, and once for all without darkvision who are in a different shift then the rolled darkvision character.
(e.g. random(Durgan, Scarlet) = > Durgan => Random(Serena, Posh, Alia, Illthir) => Posh, then Durgan and Posh are on watch. If something happens during first shift, Posh is awake extra, if something happens in second shift, Durgan is awake extra, if something happens in third shift, both are awake extra.
RPGGGM
Happy (belated in Zokon's case) New Year!

Keep watch (That should really be on the cleric spell list too when you think about clerics as militant clergy watching over their flock.)
Zokon Santyev
Yeah that's so 2018.. but Happy New Year!
Illthir Winlowe
The Clerics just make the inquisitors do all the watching :P
And happy new year!
Alia of the Blade
Aye, main thing is: we now have more people on watch, which is good. Thats more checks to notice something is off, and more people to intervene if so. In two levels, one person of each shift will be 'extra' so 2 people more per shift. Yay. Also happy new year!

Ack! Forgot Poshment.
Illthir Winlowe
That looked like a really huge manticore at first glance!
RPGGGM
Well, there's the big picture for the visual, and then there is the big shadow over Zokon's head. The thing itself is merely a creature about twice the volume of a regular lion (or about 4 couches stacked 2 X 2). Pushover really.
