Terrance Foehammer |

Terrance pauses headed for the stairs.
If you count burning cards, and a almost brawl relaxing.
He grins at Uklod, and then continues up the stairs.

Ioann Vilescu |

Ioann hurtles down the stairs, one large bag in hand, bumps into Terrance, and barely miss Ravel as he makes his from the second floor to the first one. Unsurprisingly, he does not mutter any apologies.
Then, loudly, he searches through a few cupboards until he finds a shovel. On his way, he passes through the people standing in the entry hall. Finally, noticing that Kendra is back, he lifts up his head and stops walking. His face lightens up a bit.
"Good evening. Did everything go well at the jail? ... Anyway, I have to go and bury these before we investigate them..." he says, trying to be polite, but forgetting to wait for an answer.
Then, Ioann gets to the basement and buries all the cursed objects before walking up to his bedroom and jumping into bed still completely dressed.

Ravel Sigrún |

Ravel mutters as Ioann flies past, "Ak sa o niekoľko palcov nečistôt nezastavil profesora, to sa nezastaví položiek."

Terrance Foehammer |

Nie, to nie, ale ja si nemyslím, že bude počúvať rozumu práve teraz
With that, Terrance heads up to get what sleep he can.

Ingrid Van der Geist |

Ingrid rolls her eyes, biting back a comment at Ioann's customary rudeness.

Ioann Vilescu |

Ioann stops on the first steps of the stairs to the basement and turns around to look at Kendra:
"Got to bury those." he says, pointing at the bag he is carrying before continuing "They are haunted or something like that and it should make everyone safer if a pile of earth sits atop of them. I'll be using the basement so no one in town can see me dig a hole in the middle of the night."

Ravel Sigrún |

Ravel speaks up, "We have decided to tackle the prisoners one at a time, if possible. Tomorrow we seek to learn all we can of Father Charlatan." she stifles a yawn, "But I believe now is the time for dreaming. Goodnight, everyone." Ravel makes her way to her room, dressing down for the evening, and lying awake in the darkness, listening to the sounds of others retiring and reflecting on the journey so far.

Ingrid Van der Geist |

Ingrid sits up a bit longer talking to Kendra about her visit with Father Grimburrow, while checking the locks and windows in the manor nonchalantly securing the place for the night.

Uklod Oiglus |

After shaking his head slightly at Ioann's antics, Uklod had to admit the man might have a good idea.
He shared with the ones still awake his evening and the strange wagon tracks he failed to follow and Father Grimburrow's promise to take a look at the items they recovered from the Harrowstone.
Privately Uklod asked Kendra about the package that had arrived for him and to show him one of the available rooms.

DM Twilight |

Kendra tells Ingrid, "I think Father Grimburrow is rather fond of you, Ingrid. His smile grew much wider when your name was mentioned. He told Uklod that he thinks that you all have arrived as an answer to his prayers for a way to deal with the ghosts who trouble the prison. That is, of course, not to say that he think's Father's death was a part of that answer, but that it was such skilled people who came to mourn him and have chosen so readily to take up the battle."
-----
Kendra fetches Uklod's package from her own room and shows him to a small office that has a couch made up with clean linens to use as a bed. There is a small desk and chair, as well as a couple of shelves with books on various topics. "This was where Gellius was staying. I've changed the linens and aired out the room the best I could. I'm afraid he like to experiment and sometimes there were loud noises and strange smells. If this isn't to your liking, their is also Orin's room, but there was an incident in there. A haunting, I suppose, not unlike what you experienced tonight. He said he had a terrible dream that felt so real, he saw himself in an old prison cell high up looking back down at Ravengro from a distance. His name was writ in blood on the wall, when he woke up he was so terrified he could barely call out for help. We've cleaned the blood from the walls... we just don't know if there is anything special about that room that would make it more likely for something like that to happen again."

Uklod Oiglus |

"Thank you Lady Kendra. Your hospitality is more than appreciated. These hauntings are worrisome but I'm sure that we will get to the bottom of it. Anything I can do for you before turning in for the evening?
Uklod took the package and set it on the desk before stowing his gear beside the couch... looks much more comfortable than the cot at the abbey...

DM Twilight |

Kendra smiles warmly at Uklod, "No, thank you. I will be headed to bed soon myself. Just as soon as I'm sure Ioann isn't going to dig half way through the ground. Rest well."
She pulls the door shut behind her.
Oiglus,
It has taken me more than a year to track you down. I am sorry to have found you mourning the loss of a friend. The woman who answered the door did not know when you would return and was understandably hesitant to tell me your exact whereabouts; though she did assure me that she would be seeing you again soon. I hope I did not upset her, and she will forgive me the intrusion.
Regrettably, I cannot wait to deliver these to you in person. I have received word that my mother has fallen ill and I must return home once again. That cursed place I hoped to never return to. I hope that this message has found you in good health, even if not in good spirits. I will never consider the debt I owe you to be repaid in full, but hopefully these will help you on your own journey.
May Iomedae guide your sword.
Renald
-----
Kendra returns to see if Ioann is still digging, and just how deeply he intends to bury the cursed items beneath her home before heading to sleep herself.

Ioann Vilescu |

Ioann is finishing flattening the ground where he buried the bag when Kendra comes down. After hitting the earth one last time with the flat end of the shovel, he straightens up, and shows Kendra up the stairs as gently as he can.
"I am done. We should be safe for the night... if Ingrid is right." he says, gloomy.
Once they arrive at the top of the stairs, Ioann sits down on the floor to remove his dirty socks and walks up to the nearest window to dust them outside. Then, while he places the shovel back wherever he found it before talking to Kendra again:
"I am glad there were no problems... going to go to bed now. The pal... Ingrid should keep you good company for the rest of the night." he says, outside of Ingrids hearing range.
Ioann than walks up the stairs, much more silently than the previous time, and goes to sleep.

Awakening an hour before dawn, that moment where the veil between life and death was thinnest, Ingrid sits cross-legged on her bed, clad in a simple shift, eyes closed in meditation, she communes with the Dark Lady seeking the wisdom and power to protect the living from those that sought to prey upon them.

Terrance Foehammer |

Terrance awakens an hour before dawn. He gets up, and putters on some crossbow bolt heads he is still in the process of making, not seeming to be making any progress.
One of these days, I will be able to make these
The worship of Torag, is to be constantly trying to make things. :)
After about an hour, he comes down the stairs.
Ah that smells wonderful lady Kendra
He then sits at the table and enjoys the coffee and breakfast.

Ioann Vilescu |

After waking up, Ioann musters all the patience he can to make his bed. The endeavour proves a bit too much for him, and he leaves the bed sheets barely better than when he got out of them.
After coming down the stairs, Ioann quickly passes through the dining where the others, only stopping to wish good morning to Kendra, and to take a slice of bread. While passing through, the others can clearly notice that his clothes are getting worst and worst, more wrinkly and dirty... even still bloody from the wounds sustained at Harrowstone. Finally, Ioann gets into the kitchen where he puts some water to boil and starts eating his slice of bread. Once done, he goes back upstairs where he finds a razor and shave as well as possible.
After throwing the extra water out the window, Ioann comes back down, heavily sits on a chair, and joins the others for breakfast. The others notice a few new red cuts on his now shaved face.

Ingrid Van der Geist |

Finishing her meditation and prayer, Ingrid dresses and heads downstairs, joining the others for breakfast.

Smiling Ravel shakes her head, and while Ioann broods, she whispers and gestures to his clothes from across the table, repairing the wear and tear the man has put his clothes through. "opraviť"
When Ake awakens, I will have to see if she can't clean his coat with a few parlor tricks...

DM Twilight |

"Good morning, everyone! I hope everyone slept well."
Kendra smiles at all of you and then continues to hum as she moves about the kitchen laying trays of food and pouring coffee and tea. She also has fresh squeezed juice for you this morning, to go with the fresh bread, sausage, and gravy.

Aye, well enough for myself.
He then takes a drink of coffee.
So do we have any thoughts on today, I know I have to head to Jorfa's as there is something that she wants me to do.
Terrance looks with some distaste at Ioanns general dishevelment, but doesn't say anything.
Edited with Twilights copy of the note again. Thank you. :)

DM Twilight |

My delightful house guests:
I have not gone far, please do not worry as I know some of you are prone to doing. After all, I have lived in this small town for quite some time now. I have decided to go visit with Mr. Hephenus in the jail. I do not doubt what you have told me of his actions at the memorial, but I just cannot understand what would posses him to act in such a manor.
Uklod, dear, a packaged arrived for you today. A rather strange fellow brought it by looking for you, he did not have much to say and seemed hesitant to leave it with me. I assured him that I would make sure it got to you and eventually he acquiesced. I am holding it for you in my room, we had not quite decided where you would be sleeping before the others whisked you away today. There is Orin's room, and Gellius' room. I will allow the others to explain to you the pros and cons of each. If neither suits you, well, I'm sure we can find some place to put you!
Terrance, Jorfa has requested that you pay her another visit when you have time. I believe she has a favor to ask of you, she would not tell me what it was, however.
You have all been working so hard to uncover the truth of my father's death and to find out who... desecrated his grave in such a horrible fashion. I do so appreciate everything that you are all doing. I think, however, that you should all do something relaxing for a little while. Perhaps explore the town some more this evening. Father would not want to see you all so consumed with this.

Ake of the Stolen Soul |

Ioann's first response to Ingrid's outburst is to lift up the mug that was just brought to him by Pevrin. However, as his lips touch the cup, Ioann realizes that he is about to drink. The man battles his desire to drink the alcohol with all his might before loudly and messily putting the mug in front of Ake.
"Take it. Its yours now." he says, before turning back toward Ingrid.
"So, Ingrid Van der Geist, how about you tell us how you came to know the professor. Please?" he says mockingly.
*chugs first drink*
Nochalantly shrugs at the next drink Ioann gives her.
*also chugs next drink*
BRUUUUUUUURP!!! Pardon me..

Ake of the Stolen Soul |

The night passes on quietly and you awake to the smell of fresh baked bread and coffee. Kendra can be heard humming in the kitchen as she prepares your breakfast.
Before the above...
Ake waits in her room for the others to go quiet, then silently makes her way through Kendra's home checking the windows and locks, making certain they are secure.
Then she sits down, with her back against the front door.
You will not harm my friends again, I will be ready for you this time. I will hunt you down. YOU WILL BURN...I will find you.
She fails asleep against the door...waiting...ready...

Ake of the Stolen Soul |

"Good morning, everyone! I hope everyone slept well."
Kendra smiles at all of you and then continues to hum as she moves about the kitchen laying trays of food and pouring coffee and tea. She also has fresh squeezed juice for you this morning, to go with the fresh bread, sausage, and gravy.
Chuckling in an evilish? manner Ake lays into the food, looking to store food in another dimension for the portion she puts away.
Cuddles daintily eats scraps Ake feeds to her as she sits in the middle of the table next to Ake.

Ravel Sigrún |

"My dreams were pleasant enough. It is one of the few places I enjoy escaping to." Ravel takes a drink of tea, then laughs as she looks at Ake enjoying breakfast. "Perhaps when we go into town this morning we can pick up a few more provisions for the house as well."

DM Twilight |

*Grumble, grumble, grumble.* Well, I had a huge post that I made last night and I only just now realized that it didn't actually post. I refuse to rewrite the damn thing, so the long and the short of it is: Kendra doesn't want Ravel to do the shopping because she doesn't know what else to do with her time these days. She makes a few suggestions, i.e. visiting Gibs, seeing if Marta needs help with the girls... and going with you guys to Harrowstone.

Smells of home cooking woke Uklod from what had been the best sleep he'd had in quite some time. He took a few minutes to reread the letter from Renald before kneeling in prayer. He asked Iomedae to watch over his old friend as well as his new ones.
Uklod dressed and strapped on the thoughtful gift under his shirt sleeves and made his way to see about breaking his fast.
Not wanting to interrupt Ravel, Uklod nodded his thanks to Kendra before taking a free seat and what he considered was a fair share of the delicious looking repast.

I also made a post yesterday that disappeared... here it is rewritten
Even through his usual lack of awareness, Ioann does notice his clothes sowing themselves back. He chuckles, and lifts he head from his plate to look at Ravel.
"Thanks... should be usefull." he says, before noticing Ake laying sprawled on the table.
At this sight, his eyes grow large.
"Hey! This is not place to eat!" he belows.
Next, with one hand, he pulls up the goblin and heavily sits here on the chair next to him. Before she can even protest, he picks up a few choice items from the table and put them in Ake's dish.
"Now, use the fork and knife to eat!"
After the incident, Ioann calmly listens to Terrance, Ravel and Kendra before jumping into the conversation.
"Shouldn't we be concentrating on using the tablet to contact the spirits of the cursed items? Miss Lorrimor could stay and watch if she stays far from everyone..."

DM Twilight |

I don't think Ake was laying on the table, lol. I think she was "laying" into the food, as in eating fast. Her scorpion is sitting on the table, though. However, that imagery is just so perfect that I kinda want Ake to have been laying on the table because A) that's hilarious and because B) Ioann flipping out and acting like a mother hen to Ake is spectacular.
Also, Uklod spoke with Father Grimburrow about the items and Grimburrow has agreed to take a look at them to help determine their uses etc. if you bring them to him today.

Terrance Foehammer |

Shaking his head at Ioanns and Akes antics, Terrance answers.
Ioann, the tablet should be up to Lady Ravel, as it seems that the last time they tried it, she tried to attack Ake.
However, I agree that they should look into that as an option. but I suggest that it happens after there is someone who is not tied up with that board here, if only to help in any way.
However, I am off to Jorfa's, and I will return soon.
With that, Terrance heads upstairs to grab a couple of things, and then head out.

DM Twilight |

Terrance makes his way to the smith's and finds that Jorfa is already hard at work, stoking the fire and moving things around. She looks up when you come in and she says, "Oh good, good, I'm glad you came boy. Give me just a minute here and I'll get us some tea. Come on back here, I'd like to talk to you for a minute."

Ravel Sigrún |

Ravel nods, "Yes... the board. Terrance, Jorfa seems to have an inclination towards you, while there could you inquire about Father Charlatan to see if she knows anything?" After the dwarf leaves the room, Ravel stands up and takes her dishes to the kitchen before returning. "I will attempt to use the spirit board again to try to discover what we can learn of this vengeful haint."

Terrance Foehammer |

Terrance heads into the back room, and sits down for tea with Jorfa. He then listens to what she has to ask.

Ingrid Van der Geist |

"Don't worry, I will prevent you from harming anyone if it comes to that." Ingrid promises Ravel.

Ravel Sigrún |

"Thank you. Shall we adjourn to a room with... less dishes to damage if things go awry?" Ravel then turns to Kendra, "You are welcome to sit in and watch with us and learn what you will, but I worry about the outcome of what might happen if you venture to the prison with us. If persons or spirits there attacked your father, you might be a prime target, and I would not want to see harm befall you."

DM Twilight |

Kendra calmly crosses her hands in her lap and looks at Ravel, [b]"I thank you for your concern, Ravel, but I highly doubt that I would be any more of a target than any of the rest of you. I am not nearly as helpless as you all seem to believe me to be, do you think that Father would not have taught me a few things to defend myself with over the years? Still, if the thought of my being there is troublesome for you all then I shall stay here. I do think that you might be surprised at how useful I could be, though."

Terrance Foehammer |

I also miss the kinfolk at times as well.
Taking the offered tea, and expressing thanks.
As for how long, I have been wandering about a year. 3 Months of that time, to get here.
How long have you been here?

Terrance Foehammer |

So you have been here for a number of years, however, I hail from Highhelm, why ?
