So, what do you all want to do now? I'd like to expand our borders towards Oleg's and eventually annex his hex, so that we have frontier post and border with Brevoy.

But I can also see reasons to annex the lake, or towards the Erastil holy site we found, or towards the elven keep.

I'd like to build something basic but useful for our people; a library, a smith, a shrine. Talia, of course, would like to build a theater.

This is, I just don't even know. Brilliant, to start.

Though I'm not familiar with this Ed Sheeran fellow enough to follow why there's all the hubbub regarding GoT.

I confess I'm not following GoT either - still plowing through the books - but my friends who are, are DEEPLY UPSET that a gurning manchild with no discernible acting talent whatsoever has somehow inexplicably been allowed in to pollute their saga.

DEEPLY upset. Especially since in 12 months he'll be long forgotten in favour of the next teenybopper sensation.

Much ado about nothing imho. I don't follow the show, but really people??? Get over yourselves. People are too uptight about 'their' shows.

Agreed on GoT - people can be precious. My threads are currently inundated with fans (and they are, strangely enough, all male) bemoaning a female Doctor Who.

Seriously. Life is too short for this s**t.

Oh I follow and love GoT, just don't really understand who Ed Sheeran is enough to get why people are so upset. Though I have a better idea now that Vosil has explained a little more about it :)

As for Who, I've never followed that show and don't get the fuss either. Is the actress good? Is the show well written and engaging? That would seem to be a good barometer as to whether I'd watch, rather than the gender of the lead.

The female Doctor thing is another...thing. The people love their Doctors! I don't follow that one either, but I agree with Talia on this one.

While I find the moaning about a female Doctor to have a distinctly sexist tone, I can't say that there's ever been a new Doctor not utterly loathed by a large chunk of the fans prior to their debut. Everyone loved Eccleston and weren't sure Tennant would do as good a job. Everyone thought Tennant was the best thing since sliced bread, and bemoaned the destruction of the series by the boyish Smith. Everyone fell in love with Smith's wonderful energy and prophesied doom at the coming of the foul-mouthed Capaldi. And now, the beloved Capaldi is leaving for a woman, which clearly is the end of the series, just like all the others were.

As for the earlier Doctors, you tell me! I was a kid/not alive at the time. :P

Oh, there's only one REAL Doctor - all the rest are just imposters :P

This has nothing to do with the fact that Tom Baker was the Doctor I watched when I was a kid - it's purely objective fact. All other reports are fake news. Sad!
