I'm pretty sure the Gunslinger would be starting wealth as per Fighter.

I've updated my inventory to reflect what Tobar will start with. Pretty simple stuff, but he should have some spare coin to flash around once we get where we are going.

BTW I haven't forgotten the game. My character is done...just need to finish the backstory, and type in the specifics. As I mentioned I had this all but complete, when Windows decided to install updates, and restarted my computer...and of course I'd put everything into a form fillable, but not savable character sheet, which got wiped out.

Running sound for my son's band all weekend, has left me limited time. Forth of July weekend is crazy for live music. If you need to start without me maybe I join up later...or just start with me, and I'll post until I get my sheet done off my notes.

With regard the gear... is it possible to have your free primary weapon being made of a specific material and "pay the difference"?

Gunslinger starts with Fighter's gold - and it's very reasonable for Gunslingers to grab the gunsmith kit when the manure hits the windmill.

Does it give you any other benefits than those of being made of cold iron? If not, you can have it for free.

Nah - just plain old cold iron. The ancient part was to give it an antique feel having recovered from a old battlesite.

I'm starting the game, and Scranford and High Duke can join us when they can. I'm gonna rule that their characters have lost consciousness.

Pretty sure it's max gold plus all the extras for free, but Nightflier can confirm.

I was wondering this too; but from the intro to the game thread I guess it makes more sense that our starting gold is the pay we've just collected, and the free equipment is what we had on us at the time.

The starting gold is your paycheck, and the equipment is what you got for free. You can't buy any additional equipment before the game begins, since that reflect that the event which transported you to another world happened suddenly.

Then I'll change some things from my character to reflect that.

Do we get any ammunition for backup weapons that are ranged?

I'm good to go, just maybe a few details to add as we go (need description) but that's it.

Made all of the adjustments on the character sheet and am ready to go. I am going over to the IC thread now to post.

I suppose my additional background was not enough for the feat ^^ well common boys let's get to it.

Deiros, sorry for not replying. My internet access went down. Your background is fine for bonus traits, but you need to work on it some more if you want a feat instead.

High Duke, you need more detailed background if you want bonus. Also, be advised, I want all of you to be relatively young - that means middle twenties at the most for human characters. Please reflect that in your background and with your avatar.

My internet is still down, so I'll not be able to post much.

Just to confirm that as of tomorrow afternoon I'll be on a week's vacation. Not 100% on how the hotel's interwebs will be, but if this coincides with Nightflier's interwebs returning then please DMPC Big Beinn while I'm gone.

Old Stoney is pretty methodical and a brute in melee. Talks in "ITALICIZED BLOCK CAPITALS" - but that's just more for affect.

Just a heads up that I will be out of town (and out of communication) from early Thursday, 28th to late Sunday, 31st. From the above post, it looks like I will miss out on the first few scenes. Nightflier, please run my pc or Black Dow may run him. (He deserves pay back for what I am doing to his character in another game right now while he's on vacation)

Hey guys. Sorry, but somehow I lost my dot for this thread.

Unfortunately, at this time, life has accelerated to the point where I probably don't have time to give this game it's proper attention. Since it's got a lot of changes from normal Pathfinder, it would require more time and effort, which at this time I don't have. I'll be watching, and if things slow down, and I get a chance to work into the game later I'd love to, but at this time I'd suggest recruiting another healer.

Once again, I've lost internet access. It seems that there is a country-wide infrastructural crisis, so it wouldn't do me any good to change my ISP.

Nobody could give me an answer when will things return to normal, but it seems that the crisis will last for up to a month.

In these circumstances, I really can't run the games. I am truly sorry, but this is out of my hands. I've considered posting from the phone, but I'm using business-oriented Nokia, so it's not really suited for the internet forums.

I apologize for taking your time. I hope that I'll return to the boards when this thing settles.

Hi, guys. Me again. I just wanted to let you know how are things in my neck of woods.

It seems that the problem was in the underground waters all along. A small underground river has changed its course and its destroying the street foundations and its playing havoc with underground cables that serve as telephone installations, among other things.

That's happening about a quarter mile from my apartment, so I'm affected by it. I'm passing near the work site every day, so I can follow the works. It seems to me that the end is in sight. I'll keep you posted.

I hope that I'll be able to return to the boards full time soon. I'm using a mobile phone to stay connected to things like Facebook and to check my mail - and to sometimes see what's happening on Paizo :)
