If I am reading this right, you've decided to take two Pathfinder traits instead of traits from my Rules, right?

Also, Flexible Recovery and Canny Defense should be listed under Feats.

There is no Knowledge (Planes) skill in Midnight, so you can take something else instead. It is replaced by Knowledge (Spirits) and (Shadow).

Thanks, I've updated the skills now. One last question with the traits. When you said I needed 3 traits, is it 2 traits + the free small free small trait or 3 plus the free small trait?

You get 3 traits from my Rules doc and 2 from the Erenlander list. Small or Large are no longer traits. You can simply choose to be Small, Large or Medium if you are human-blooded, and take appropriate bonuses and penalties.

May I suggest that you take Frost bloodline for your Eldritch Heritage feat? It si more appropriate thematically for your character, in my opinion at least.

Great. Check out Frost bloodline for your Eldritch Heritage feat. It's on Pathfinder SRD, under 3pp bloodlines. Also, are you interested in doing something with your Patron? I could give it name and personality. Perhaps it can be an Elder Ice Elemental? Or something else...

Added Frost Bloodline. I think the Elemental is an awesome choice. Or possibly a silver dragon...

Dragons in Midnight are unique creatures, so the color doesn't have any particular meaning. I like the Elemental idea because Gil is already tied to one. And if Ilona takes something similar, you 3 could form a powerful elemental coven. We'll talk about it. :-)

Both Bluff and Intimidate are rolled into Persuasion, and Diplomacy remained separate skill.

I'm sorry, but you can not take any standard Pathfinder archetype, since I've changed the classes. But, if you wish to have abilities granted by Tower Shield Specialist, you may simply buy them using Fighter Talents. If you wish to do so, I'll add new Talents to the Rules doc.

Thanx for the Shadowlands info, it has helped me choose the outstanding favoured terrain.

Now she is ready for action, background will be done after Gloomnight info is available.

I thinking of her coming from a relative well off family, and inherited the sabre. Family had very bad dealings with the Varyag (humans), to make humans to be her sworn enemy, and not to be trusted at all.

Well, I planed to expand a bit on political situation in Gloomnight. There are seven political entities that are a cross between noble houses, merchant guild and crime syndicates. You'll see. I'll put it up tonight, most probably.


I see, I playing around with some ideas for background.

I just need to grab a couple more feats. What's the rule on feats now? Are the ones in the documents the only ones we can choose from, or are those just the new or changed ones.

The feats in the document are only new or changed feats. You can choose other feats from the Pathfinder standard feats or Midnight-specific feats. Of course, I reserve the right to ban some of them.

I loving the city of Gloomnight. Now have a few odd ideas roaming my mind. I assuming the alignments of the Great Houses is only the general alignment of the population of the Great House. There would be pockets within the Great House having different alignment. I assume, that in Gloomnight, the population just have to tolerate each other as there is little other places to make a living in Shadowlands. The good and evil can end up living side by side knowing the general alignment of their neighbours.

Any lesser houses of Shadar with specific trades? I looking for one that would match there development of Illiameyl as a wildlander coming from noble (royal) blood, to have an ancient family sabre given to her as rightful heir to the sabre, eldest daughter.

What happened during those seven years since the last game ended is a mystery - kinda. You can choose to talk about it or keep silence - it's up to you. You will meet the rest of the party in the inn. Your meeting with Solvi should be epic, though. :)


Wow! I have cellular telcoms here in the middle of nowhere in the mountains, though just barely alive.

Any issues I need to sort out with Illiameyl before you continue tomorrow with the adventure?

I will post tomorrow in the game thread. We can introduce the characters, old and new, without them being completely finished in the crunch department. I will try to post more than once per day. Parallel to this, I'll review the characters once again and post here what is to be changed.

If Ilona, Ragnar or someone else decides to join us, they will be welcome. When the game moves forward a bit, I'll maybe call for additional players to form 2nd party.

While I was reading Crunk's profile as he seemed to be an unusual individual I noticed that Weapon Finesse is different to description found in PF rulebook. I see in your Midnight document, you have Improved Weapon Finesse, which seems to be same as BAB +6 of Weapon Finesse on Crunk's profile.

What should be used?


Hey can I get into this game? I love the setting in fact I am in the Second Edition credits. I have been watching this thread since July, but didnt see all the activity in the discussion thread.

Probably the latest Midnight document. I haven't had a chance to update Crunk to the latest docs yet.

Sorok,

You can not start with heavy armor or tower shield.

Fearsome Visage is no more. Also, you may have only 3 traits.

Powerful Enemy is gone, as well as other disadvantages.

Check out your feats. We are back to standard Pathfinder and Midnight feats, except in the case of several feats mentioned in the Rules document. Also, Roll With It has Goblin as prereq. Anyway, check them out please. :)
