Seeing an opportunity as the door opens, Willem makes his way quickly inside and attacks the first sentry he can reach, aiming to cut him down quickly and move on to the next.
Longsword: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Unfortunately it seems the sentry was ready for him...

Intative for Dog. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6. Sorry for the delay in posting.
Round 2 Initative -
Intative Order -
Adgar
Nokazi - Total Defense
Forrest - Kills a sentry
Ser Willem - Attacks a dog.
Sentries x3-1 - reload crossbows.
Malcolm "Mal" Graves - Attacks Dog
Dog - Dog surprised.......
Malcolm strikes the dog dealing it a deep gash causing it to yelp in pain before it growls at Malcom.
A longsword flashes down but misses as the dog flinches from a nearly deadly blow had it landed from Willem.
Nokazi however tenses, preparing to move out of the way of any attacks sent towrds him.
Meanwhile a javellin ends the life of a sentry as he attempts to reload his crossbow. Seeing the slump figure, Forrest concludes that at least 1 sentry is down.

Ermm Forrest there isn't anymore sentries for you to aim at where you are. The others have gone down.

Round 3 Initative -
Intative Order -
Adgar
Nokazi
Forrest
Ser Willem
Sentries x2
Malcolm "Mal" Graves
Dog
Nessian
Everyone is up. Then Sentries.
A tense standoff has occured with Nessian, his dog and two of his hired thugs staring out heroes down as they enter through the door. Nessian is quite a handsome young man but his skin has a rough texture like bark.
His thugs are armed with crossbows and they're empty at this moment. The dog snarls as it bares its teeth.

"Please forgive me. I have no choice. I love dogs and hate cats." Nokazi's sentiment towards canines hinders his aim.
5' step for a clear shot near doorway and rapid shot on the hound.
Rapid shot on Dog: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 71d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 91d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 111d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

And Nokazi opens up with a salvo towards our lovable canine friend and misses all his shots.
The thugs looks confused. One remarks.
"He really likes dogs doesn't he?"

![]() |

Trusting his companions to take care of the thugs, Willem pushes past to face Nessian himself.
"Nessian! This is over! Surrender now or face Pharasma's judgement!"
Basically I want to have Willem activate his challenge on Nessian, moving through the others (overrun if necessary) to get to Nessian and engage in combat.

![]() |
You could attempt to overrun the dog and get to Nessian. He's directly behind the dog.

![]() |

Forrest tries to move around the thugs, using his skill at acrobatics if needed, Acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
then attacks with his cestus
Cestus: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Ok in order.
Malcolm, Color Spray is a standard action so you can't attack as well. Also It'll help if you post your DC. I'm assuming at Int 16 for a +3 and thus DC for your color spray is 10+1+3=14.
I'm also assuming Spell Combat since you're casting and attacking, I would call for you to cast defensively but the dog is flatfooted.
Also take note that your party members are moves first and would usually come under effect of your color spray as well.
Ser Willem kicks the dog aside as he rushes towards Nessian whose eyes widen in panic at the imposing figure of Ser Willem coming towards him.
Meanwhile Forrest with agility springs past the rather stunned dog and throws a nasty right hook towards one of the sentry kncking loose a few teeth in the process.
The sentries frantically work to reload their weapons when a blast of color fills everyone's vision at Malcom's chant flourished with a stab into the dog that sinks into soft flesh as the dog collaspes to the floor.
Nessian and his hired thugs fare no better, keeling over helplessly to the floor. As does the luckless Forrest having turned just as the spell was unleashed but luckily it's power seems to have less of an impact as the dog being bigger recieves the brunt of it first.
This leaves just Nokazi, Malcolm, Forrest and Ser Willem still standing as a sudden quiet decends upon the tower.
Nessian VS Will DC 14 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9
Sentry 1 VS Will DC 14 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
Sentry 2 VS Will DC 14 1d20 ⇒ 12
Ser Willem VS Will DC 14 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
Forrest VS Will DC 14 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
Dog VS Will DC 14 1d20 ⇒ 5
1d4 ⇒ 4
You have 4 rounds to decide what to do.

That was sudden. Shaking the spots out of is eyes, Ser Willem moves to secure Nessian. He collects any weapons he might have had and then searches for something to tie him and the thugs up with. "Help me get these men tied up quickly. We don't know how long that magic will last!"
If needed: Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Willem notices that Nessian, his thugs and the dog are all still out of it. The dog is drooling and twitches occassionally.

![]() |
It takes but a single round to tie up the helpless humans leaving only the dog.

![]() |

nightdeath, you're wrong. I, as a magus, can attack and cast a spell at the same turn, provided the attack roll is -1. In this case, though, it's not needed so I will let it go. Also, the map wasn't updated when I casted the spell so I didn't see any teammate in my range of the spell.

![]() |
Malcolm noted. Ok guys you got Neesian and his thugs tied up. Are you all doing anything to the dog?

![]() |

Satisfied with the security of Nessian and his cronies, Ser Willem looks to Nokazi. "You seem to know what you're doing with his kind," he says, nodding towards the half conscious dog. "Any ideas?"

![]() |
Good enough. This is the ending I hope you guys like it.
What ever happened to Nessian and his underlings are best lost to the annals of history as with the Ritual stoppped, the city of Absalom is safe. Only those who were there truly knows what has come to pass.
However no one will ever know how close the city came to destruction, no ballads will be sung, no tales will be spread for Yargos words come back to you while you find yourself enjoying a meal at one of the finer establishments in Absalom.
"I thank you pathfinders from the bottom of my heart. It does me good to know that heroes such as youself are around but yet I'm afraid that your deeds today must be allowed to be lost and forgotten. I sense your disappointment but let me explain, should knowledge of this spread, there is no telling who else might attempt to do what Nessian attempted? Nay pathfinders, let it be in your report to your Superiors but word of this must not be allowed to be spread for the sake of the city."
Looking out as the first rays of the sun peeks over the horizon.
"The city is beautiful today this morning isn't it?"
