Alana struggles mightily against Gray's grip. She manages to break free as he tries to drag her to the door. She takes a 5 foot step away from him, though whatever she is trying to say is lost in the silence.
escape: 1d20 ⇒ 19
round 2
The party is UP. The servant is grappled, pinned, manacled, and being dragged away. Alana is free, though still in the silence that envelopes the entire chamber.
I added the doors to the map.

Gray Miller |

Gray felt murderous (which, in the present circumstance, seemed like the appropriate reaction) as the Thrune noblewoman managed to slip through his grasp, stepping away as her lips moved as though saying something. Keeping his features calm, the inquisitor simply stepped back up to her and grabbed at her once again, his wiry arms flexing mightily as he seized her wrists and attempted once again to drag her towards the far wall and the opening there.
Grapple+Haste: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 6 + 1 = 24

Ziera |

On THIS page, under Grapple, it has "Move" and "Pin" ... I don't understand why you could do the pin action under grapple but not the move action under grapple. I get that either one should take one extra action, and I am totally cool if they take an extra round... I just don't understand why one would but not the other.

---GM Shadowtail24--- |
I get the discussion, especially based on this line from the text: Once you are grappling an opponent, a successful check allows you to continue grappling the foe, and also allows you to perform one of the following actions (as part of the standard action spent to maintain the grapple). So theoretically, Gray could move 5 feet as his move action, grapple as his standard and pin/move as his haste action (technically haste actions need to be part of a full round action but i am saying that for pinning it’s fine to do as part of the standard.) The crux here is that the move counts towards a standard action, not a move action. That brings up 2 options for movement: he five foot steps originally, but that says you can’t make any more movement in his turn. Does that mean he can’t move as part of a standard action? Or 2nd, he moves as an action, grapples as standard and uses grapple-move as haste action (again, not full round but i think it fits as grapple-pin). That seems invalidated by the idea that unless you have a specific feat you cannot move before and after an attack.
That’s why i see it as pin is fine but move isn’t.

Pin (Haste): 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 1 = 21
Gray continued to try to overpower the Thrune noblewoman, sneering down at her as he continued to try to render her helpless. He looked up at Edmund, realizing that speaking was useless, and nodded, hoping the wizard would take the initiative and do his part to render Alana unconscious.

And we're back!
Paizo ate my post but I'm keeping those rolls.
The Azure avenger fires off two mystic bolts. The first expertly pierces Alana, but the second explouds outward and hits Gray and Edmund as well (crit fumble).
Alana, not one to take things lying down, shoots a ray of fire into Gray's body.
This is a spell like ability, so no V,S, or M components. Since Gray and Edmund are both grappling I don't think either get an AoO.

The party is up.

Gray Miller |

Gray growled silently as he was both jolted and scorched, the extreme silence turning the struggle into a surreal experience. Still, the woman was not taking things lying down, so to speak, so he looked up at Edmund and nodded to the open door that Ziera was retreating down with the servant girl, getting up and attempting to drag Alana with them.
Grapple, Haste, Edmund Assist: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 6 + 1 + 2 = 16

The Azure Avenger |

Thanks for being patient, guys. Things have been pretty hectic as college starts, and the website issues don't help either.
The Azure Avenger releases two more bolts on Alana. Not hearing the crackling of electricity made him wonder if they had even fired, but the effect was obvious enough on Alana.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Attack 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Damage 1: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Damage 2: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Gray Miller |

Gray sneers at the noblewoman as she tried to twist out of his grasp, but his hatred of Thrune empowered him as he held her even as she struggled, aided by the aged librarian. Steadily he kept moving the woman towards the door, nodding to the aasimar woman as she motioned them through the portal.

Map is updated. Let's set the scene
The gang is mostly out of the room and into the corridor. Gray has to let go and they enter the narrow corridor (and preps to hold portal), but Edmund/AA are grappling Alana and Ziera is grappling the NPC. The NPC has stopped struggling, but Alana still is.
It's very apparent when you get outside the range of the silence spell, as Alana's cursing and commands come into focus.
Alana uses the movement into the corridor to try to break the grapple again, but fails.

Grapple (Pin): 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 1 + 5 = 17
Gray continued to press the advantage on Alana as they dragged her cursing out into the hall. Using years of frustration and anger, he slowly started restraining the Thrune noblewoman further, attempting to pin her arms to her side as he growled at Edmund and the Azure Avenger. "Get a rope and tie this one up!

Ziera |

Silence is a 40 foot circle (20 foot radius). The map we have up is only 45 feet long, so if it is anywhere near the middle of the room, Alana should still be inside the silence, and even if the pebble is at the very edge of the room, she still didn't make noise until we were inside the tunnel. Also, by the length on the map, are you saying it is only 25 feet from the Inn's basement to the palace in this tunnel and we won't all fit without squeezing, or is this just part of the tunnel?
Frustrated that they are focused on subduing the woman further rather than on avoiding getting caught, Ziera pushes the manacled and gagged servant to the side of the tunnel next to her and whispers as forcefully as possible Close that door and gag that woman before we all get killed! She also, again, frantically motions to the people in the rear to do so since they were still in silence and couldn't hear her.

Alana strength seems to be waning as her struggles feel feeble in the arms of Gray and the AA. Gray successfully pins her against the wall of the corridor. The Azure avenger pulls out some rope and ties her up her hands.
Alana is pinned and tied up. I would not quite characterize her as helpless yet. you would need to further bind her beyond just the hands.
Round 6
The party is up.

Gray Miller |

Grapple, Haste: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 6 + 1 + 5 = 24
Gray sneered at the still struggling noblewoman as the Azure Avenger bound her hands, getting the woman in a body lock so the group could get her bound more securely. He looked on in approval as Edmund barred the door and Ziera continued to push the servant down the hall and away from help. The inquisitor's eyes gleamed manically as the first strike against Thrune seemed imminent, though he kept his excitement under control lest he unnerve his companions.

The Azure Avenger |

The Azure Avenger feels the noise in the area pop back into place as Edmund closes the door, and quickly makes a move to gag Alana.
Grapple check?
Grapple: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Ziera |

Once both women are bound, gagged and blindfolded, Ziera addresses the group.
We were lucky that we pulled that off without a lot of planning. We need to move quickly whatever we do. My preference is to question Alana first about ...
She glances at Alana, realizing that she is hearing everything that they say, and is careful not to mention her probably-imminent death.
... our problem. I don't know if this tunnel will remain secure or not. It depends on whether it is discovered. If we render her unconscious we could take her to the sewers by pretending she is a drunk friend. It would require a minor disguise which many of us are easily capable of. After questioning her, we could turn her over to ... our friend who asked us to come, or more dangerously could use her as a hostage to bargain for what we need. She ordered the death of my father, so I have no particular desire for her good fortune, but we should be thinking tactically here rather than merely about revenge.
I would also personally like to free the servant girl, but am not sure how to do that without putting our lives in jeopardy. Do you guys think she would remain silent if we explained that we would be forced to kill her mistress or claim that she herself was complicit in her kidnapping, should she talk?
She watches the servant girl/maid to see if she reacts to overhearing that statement.

Gray Miller |

Following Ziera's train of logic, Gray responded to the aasimar's question. "I personally would rather we just execute the servant and be done with it. No chances of screaming or saying something incriminating, then. It's a shame, though...we'd have a better chance of crafting a disguise if she chose to go along with it..." The inquisitor motioned to Ziera to remove the gag of the servant girl, quickly wanting to hear what she thought about the situation.

Gray Miller |

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
Gray's eyes narrowed as he caught the motion of the Thrune noblewoman rolling her eyes at the servant's words. Indeed, the inquisitor could even feel a bit of sympathy for Alana in this respect...when the threats and pain started, the weak were all too willing to throw in to keep themselves from the worst of it. No honor at all. Still, he could kill two birds with one stone here...both make a statement to the servant and help Alana into a state more suitable for the group's plans.
Calmly, he raised his fist, then struck the Thrune noble on the chin with a heavy cross, his expression never changing. Should that not prove enough to coerce the woman into unconsciousness, the young man administered more of the same, the strikes surgical and neat, his features unmoving except for the slight grunts of effort it took to keep up the activity. When he was done, he let his brown eyes drift to the servant, the message clear.

Gray Miller |

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
A knowing smile crept onto Gray's face at the servant's words, the inquisitor shaking his head slightly before he started towards the woman, stepping away from Alana's unconscious form. He strode slowly, but purposefully, maintaining eye contact the entire time as he approached the bound serving girl. He reached down and cupped her chin, tipping her head up to look at him more directly.
"Perhaps you didn't hear me well before, my dear. My vote was to slit your throat and be done with it. My fellows here are of a more benevolent nature regarding your future well-being, but I'm sure a few more lies will get them in the mood for something a bit darker, if you get my drift. Answer my companions' questions truthfully, then behave like a good, quiet young lady, and you'll live to tell of this day. Another lie, and things will be a bit more bleak for you."
He held her still a moment longer, his mud-brown eyes calm and collected, though surely there was a bit of madness there, as well. Then he backed up a few paces, then gestured to the others to continue their questioning, though his gaze never left the woman.

Edmund Gwenn |

”My friend here’s intuition, notwithstanding, that seems a highly unlikely place for jewels. Highly uncomfortable. You see, my dear, if we cannot trust you to be honest about something as unimportant as jewels, then how can we trust you when you tell us that you hate your mistress and want to help us?”
