Waiting a moment for Tristain to bless the group, Al rushes toward the hound creature, ready to destroy it, but can't land a blow as it responds with horrific violence of its own, teeth and claws seeming to find every weak spot in Al's defense 13 hp, plus 9, 9 and 9 (40 hp total). He again collapses, features and flesh starting to melt disturbing to gray again.
Kyffin closes in, but his spell seems to have no effect on the woman, who continues to rant: "You are an ember floating from some putrid bonfire that will also wink out in the cold death of the universe. We are all worthless before the Unspeakable One!" She glares for a moment at Bloody Knuckled and then carefully calls on her god, flying upward to safety. BK can get an AoO, but she's now 10 feet up
Tenebrynn steps in front of Tristain I think that's where you wanted to be and blasts the strange creature which is indeed an aberration. It rears back but then turns its attention to the approaching Bloody Knuckles, clawing him before it sinks its jaws into him. He manages to rip himself free, only to get clawed again as the thing moves at supernatural speed. 6 hp from 1st claw, 8 hp from bite, 8 hp from second claw

Al's foe right now is bloodloss. You encountered the vaguely doglike creature before, but no one tried to ID it then. You can try now for those of you who have the proper skill (Know [planes]).

Al's sudden fall galvanizes the group and Tristain blasts the strange creature twice, knocking it to the ground, before hitting the dog-like thing. Kyffin capitalizes, cutting into it, as Bloody Knuckles savages it until it stops moving.
Tenebrynn tries to blast the dog creature, but the blast finds nothing but thin air as it seems to step into the corner of the room, only to re-emerge right next to the gnome.
The floating woman continues to call out, "Even if he has marked you, I am the one who will open this world to him — not Lowls, and not you." You will not take my place—you will die!" She then calls again to her god, A twisting pattern of subtle, shifting colors weaves through the air around Kyffin and Bloody Knuckles, threatening to fascinate them DC 16 Will save or be fascinated.

Across the chamber, Al regains his feet -- barely -- as Kyffin heals him. The woman yells again at you, "The King in Yellow is coming!”, and casts another spell, again targeting Kyffin, who suddenly feels terrible remorse for the horrible things he realizes he's probably done in his life.
