Yeah. I actually hadn't realized Arryn wasn't there from the start, because he joined before the game started, but he was also technically a replacement. I remember being really surprised when Elrik left, since he'd gotten off to such a good start (especially as a new to PBP player).

By my math that leaves her at -24, or Very Dead.
EDIT: Well. I forgot to take a Blessing of Fervor option on my turn. If I had taken the +2 Reflex I would have just made the save and be at -4, or Mostly Dead. I'm very much okay with however it shakes out, though.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! She CAN'T be dead! I disallow! DISALLOW!(Yes that is a word so deal with it. Even if it's not, it still is). :p
I vote for the Blessing of Fervor bit because I LIKE Violet. She's too great of a character to be dead. :P
Aside: By the way, I'm liking all the pc's in this game. Lot of good characters. Well done, all.
Okay now back to my screaming at Mott to allow Violet to NOT be dead. Violet's not dead, Mott! Okay, I think that about wraps it up. Sorry I had to get rough there, Mott. I do try to keep the fury contained but it doesn't always work. ;P

I'm fine with Violet having taken the Reflex option on her turn. You knew you were fighting a dragon with a breath weapon, so that would have made sense.
So only mostly dead, which as everyone knows is not the same as all dead. You probably owe someone money.
I am launching a full criminal investigation into the Paizo dice roller.
I'll be on vacation, through Saturday; I expect to start posting again Sunday/Monday.

For the record, my last attack should read "Crossbow" not "Dwarven Waraxe". I just noticed that. Boy did I mess that up big time. Man how in the world did I miss that mistake? Crazy.

Level 8 for Arryn:
Con is now 20 (+2 size bonus from elemental overflow)
+1 to all saves and BAB
First iterative attack with kinetic blade
Acrobatics, Perception, Use Magic Device, Disable Device, Craft Traps, and Stealth go up
Infusion Specialization goes up to +2
Utility Wild Talent: Telekinetic Maneuvers
All in all, not a huge damage potential boost at this level (unless you could the extra 4d6+10 he could do each round from the second kinetic blade attack), but some fun and utility goes up.

Next level, Brostic can get sending and we can finally let people in Tamram know what’s been going on down here, in case they don’t know yet.

Sending is a fourth level spell that Brostic can prepare tomorrow. Who should I contact in Tamram? and what exactly should I say?

Ack!! How have I been playing the game this long and not seen that it’s a 4th level cleric spell??? I suppose it could be because I never play clerics…
Time to switch this into the gameplay thread…
This is looking like it's going to be a loooong few days at work, so I may not be posting quite as frequently this week.

Bystander: "Did that dwarf just throw HIS WIFE at that dragon?"
Other bystander: "Yeah he probably thought it was his battleaxe." The strangers then cut their eyes toward each other and then they both double over laughing.

Was there a bonus on the Amulet of Mighty Fists we got off the dragon? Asking for a friend who likes to punch and wrassle.
Tell your friend it's +2.

Arryn is intrigued at the prospect of Violet AND a friend who both like to wrassle, but then he remembers he has a girlfriend back home.
Still, what she doesn't know...

Violet will cradle the Amulet of Mighty Fists like a newborn baby and gently place it around her neck. She will toss her dirty old Amulet of Natural Armor aside like an old baby. It, and the +2 Amulet of Natural Armor, are Up For Grabs.

Anyone want to have a tree-lifting contest with Arryn to see who gets which amulet?
Just kidding: giving the +2 to a melee person like Vexras makes the most sense.
male tiefling Itinerant Swordsmith 8
It wouldn’t do me any good, I’ve already got +2 natural armor. Only things that’d really help ol’ Vexxy are +’s to Dex, Int, and saves. Can’t wear armor, can only swing the sword I already own… as such, I’m not particularly gear dependent.

Don't matter to me. Go ahead and snag it, Nazard. It's all good.
Hey all. I'm offering a new home-brew game here. I'm not making it exclusive, but anybody from here will get strong consideration.

Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
Also, are they hobgoblins? Can we tell that? Or are they actually dwarves?

They’re humans, presumably. Phaendar refugees. Not sure where you got dwarves from.

LOL. Arryn's version is much clearer. Obviously despite my nickname, I need an editor! :)

Sense Motive +2
-1's and 0's in the rest.
Dorrin's got jack in all these skills. I don't have ANY ranks in any of them.
So it looks like to me that:
1] Arryn's got Profession soldier
2] Brostic's got Sense Motive
3] Vexras has Diplomacy
Hopefully we don't have to use ALL of the skills. Otherwise... this town is toast. And it'll be ALL the mayor's fault. HA-HA!

Actually, Violet has a +12 Sense Motive, but we have no one really good at either Bluff or Intimidate (Violet has +3 here).
Violet's skills:
Bluff: -1
Diplomacy: -1
Intimidate: +3
Sense Motive: +12
Knowledge (local): -
Perform (oratory): -
Profession (soldier): -
Quote: You need to make five opposing skill checks against the advisers, using Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Sense Motive, and for the final round, either Knowledge (local), Perform (oratory), or Profession (soldier). Only one representative from each side can attempt each check, but you can aid your primary speaker’s checks. You also each get one reroll you can use during these checks, whether it's on a primary check or an aid. Best:
Bluff: Vexras @ +3
Diplomacy: Vexras @ +13
Intimidate: Violet @ +3
Sense Motive: Violet @ +12
Knowledge (local): Vexras @ +4
Perform (oratory): Vexras @ +1
Profession (soldier): Arryn @ +10
If the above looks correct, those should be the leads for each roll with everyone else assisting, right?
Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
Sounds like a plan. Although for the last three, we only need to go with one. So obviously that'll be Arryn's Profession soldier.
Is it possible to Aid Another on those last three? I know you can't aid on a Know: local unless you have ranks in it but I'm not sure about the latter two.
I think technically not, but I'll allow it. So Vexras and Violet and Arryn, can I get a single post with a little dialogue of how you're trying to persuade everyone (with your rolls), and everyone else can post your aid attempts. (I'll do the math at the end, so no need to wait on each other.)
Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness
Man I wish I had stonemasonry. That would be SOOOO much fun. Dang I really want to help build those walls. Of course the guy I got to bring to the table is a woodsy type. Of all the dwarves I gotta bring! :P

Gonna be a crazy busy these next couple of days for me so I'll be out until Sunday afternoon/evening. Apologies.
