I have a question. Would you mind if I created a Bladebound Staff Magus, and made a staff the black blade? I don't mind if I can only have one side enchanted, I don't plan on TWFing as a magus.
I guess I don't mind.
I was also wondering if I could worship an ideal rather then one of the religions you set forth. I don't really mind that much though.
Also I kind of jumped on the Cave Druid thing with out really looking at the stuff you put up on the wiki. Are the archetypes there in addition to what is in the AP-UM-UC or instead of?
Sorry for the assumption.
I haven't gotten around to writing the goblin religion section on the wiki, but in addition to the religions I listed on the main wiki page under Goblin Religion there are local religions that tend to be animistic in nature. More good-natured goblins tend to adopt religions of nearby cultures.
Would it be possible to have an Axe Beak for a mount if chosen?
If you can find stats for Axe Beaks as an animal companion that I approve of.
Are we going to play 1st level characters?
Yes.
Are traits being used?
Yes.

This seems pretty interesting. Megadungeons like Undermountain have always intrigued me, and the sandbox approach just rocks. So let's see that bean footage.
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 5, 3) = 15
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 3, 2) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 2, 6) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 2, 2) = 11
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 3, 4) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 2, 1) = 10
And we've got...
15, 14, 13, 10, 10, 9
I'm thinking Elven magus. We'll see how the stats play out.
Zaggle'Bo the Goblin |
This is a short back story to Zaggle
Zaggle went from place to place, spending his nights in caves and days in towns trying to learn how to better understand nature and the creatures around him through formal teaching and hands on experience.
He was taught by a druid who lived in a city and was sent to further learn from a community of druids who lived in forests. He was taught many things, but ultimately he knew he would have to find out all the things he wanted to know on his own.

I'm working on a Elf Domain Cleric (Onnammertam the Guide)
He'll be your "experienced" guide for this tour.
@lordzack: The wiki says "foreign" deities can be found among the wood elves so I hope it's ok to use an Imperial deity like Hermes or Hades.
Starting gold: 4d10 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 10) = 24 x 10gp = 240gp

"Well hello there, my name is Onnam the Guide, full name Onnammertam but you can call me Onnam. You look like a real hero I must say. Have you heard of Monster Hill? I can take you there, I can even take you inside. Sit down and let me tell you about what I've heard. I can assure you, you want to go there!
Do you want something to drink? The ale here is horrible but I can recommend the mixed fruit liquors, let me buy you one!"
Onnammertam the Guide, a male half-elven Domain Cleric of Hades
How could they!
Onnammertam the Guide was furious. The group of heroes he was supposed to guide into Monster Hill had left without him. Again! This time he was sure they would actually hire him to come along as an experienced guide to Monster Hill. He'd actually never been inside Monster Hill but he'd been a guide to many an adventurer around Monster Hill. Helping them find the things they needed: equipment, mounts, housing, healing, magical components and once even his words of advice (paid!). Onnammertam calmed down at the thought of advice.
No need to worry, Hades will require my services soon enough. There's so many souls to guide, so much wisdom to be shared and so much coin to make. I should be patient and look around for anyone in need of my guidance
he thought. Onnammertam dropped his backsack and sat down on a small black blanket. With his left hand he took out a silverpiece from one of his pockets, placed it in front of him on the blanket and started his daily prayer to Hades.

Here is my submission. I'll finish with backstory and my eidolon's stats soon. Let me know if you have any thoughts/questions.
Roakrak Skekran |
I remember there was a question concerning traits, but I don't think you ever answered it. Are we using traits? Also, just curious, but why start a discussion thread before the characters who will be playing will be chosen?
Starting Cash: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 5, 6) = 20x10=200GP
Once I finish up the character, I'll be using this alias.

Ooh I see I lied about race, Onnammertam is a Wood Elf.
He's almost done, I only have to pick traits.
@lordzack: I think I've got the Spells part right but I'm not 100% sure. Could you look into Domain Cleric and check if I understand it correctly?
I picked 3 domains, get their domain powers but only get to use the domain spells as my normal spells. Spells per day would be 1+1 for 1st level spells, add 1 for high WIS that gives Onnammertam 3 level 1 spells.
Can he pick any combination of his 3 available level 1 spells for his 3 spells per day or does he get one of each?

Do you mind if Roakrak picks up Eyes and ears of the city, dropping Abadar for Forseti?

Everything is by the book. My Obsidian Portal site, that I posted a link to in the first post, shows which books are allowed (which I'll update with the Advanced Race Guide). Ability scores are generated by the Standard Method (4d6, drop the lowest). Note that some races have adjusted racial traits and I have created racial traits for goblins, which are different in this setting.
