agreed Netzer says and then stands and shakes the cleric's hand to cement the deal and departs after wishing his friend goodnight and he will go home for rest and dinner and return after an early morning breakfast.

OK. I am going to hold us here. The group is getting close to the two BBEG encounters. Once they enter the second you will move forward and the groups will converge in the new thread!

Update. They are in the Final Fight now. After that, they have one more encounter where they will then enter the Mists. At that same time I'll have you head to the Alley with a similar result...

The Temple of Gerana

You break your fast in the morning itching to get to the bottom of the mystery. That was a long night of sleep!

Finally you arrive at the Temple and an Acolyte greets you, "Do you wish to visit your friend or see the High Priest first Citizen Nezter?"

I will do both if you please Netzer says briskly. All this beurocratic waiting and shuffling made Netzer grumpy but he perservered and didnt bite the poor acolytes head off..... yet.

You arrive at Kagore's room and he sits up and looks at you his eyes shining a bit brighter than the past few days, "My friend. Good to see you, I am starting to feel myself once more. Come sit with me, let's plan our next adventure, one that keeps me far, far away from any mist or fog!"

Netzer smiles at Kagore and says friend I intend on scouring the Blackrose Museum and the surrounding areas to ensure no one suffers such again and that there is nothing foul connected to our city! I cannot allow your suffering to be in vain, friend .

Kagore's brow furrows with concern, "Avoid that place. Absolom is a big place lots else to do, hell, we can leave here and see the world my friend..."

Netzer shakes his head and says I would sooner avoid the taxman or death to be sure, but this thing that ripped you from this world must be stopped Kargore. If you have any gift or words for me before I go to seal this infernal gate now would be the time to say it, because I will certainly see an end to this foolishness on your behalf. The high cleric is sending me back with a cleric of skill and some items to finish the job.

Kagore hands you a few of his most potent personal items. "Take these and come back so my friend. I hope you will not need them..."

I shall return them all without delay dear friend. Finish resting and then soon you and I will take those journeys into Absolom and the world, together! Netzer gives his friend a hug and then goes to see the cleric.

Hold here. The PCs in the main group seem a bit confused about what to do next. Once they move forward you will be with them rather quickly!

As you take your leave from Kagore, you head to see the High Priest. He greets you warmly. Seated next to him is a young girl who appears to be an Acolyte.

"Good morn' Nezter, I trust you had a pleasant rest. Meet Nerzhana, an Acolyte of the Church. She shall be assisting you o your investigations".

She stands and curtsies, "I am looking forward to out time together however brief".

Netzer nods and shakes both sets of hands and says you have some items for me as promised to assist us in the hunt?

The High Priest hands the Acolyte a bag of items, "In case you need them".

She smiles and turns to you, "Shall we?"

Together you head to the museum and the alley way next to it. A few guards stand before it, placed there by the Temple presumably to keep it off limits to the public until it is fully investigated.

They allow you both to pass. As you wander in you find it to be just a normal alley, refuse and a bad smell are the only dangers here it seems. She begins to cast spells to detect magic and evil, none register. She sighs, "Anticlimactic it seems eh Nezter?"

You pause considering what, if anything to do next. Then you see it, the mists are slowly beginning to rise by the mouth of the alley. She sees it as well, "Perhaps that is something?" she starts to head towards it and then before you can stop it, the mists rise up and engulf you both. Her screams are muffled by the mist, the guards it seems are unaware of your plight as neither even turns around to look down the alley...

Follow me through the Mists...

Note that you should replace the word Blackchapel for the word Absolom in the second paragraph besides that, all is the same.
