Hello there! This alias is the character I will be playing for the campaign!
I will update the background personality and profile this evening but he is an older gnome rogue who is a bit frumpy. Is willing to give his opinion but is not too keen on people too joyful or whimsical feeling.
I'm really excited to get started, I've been playing role playing games for a long time but it's been a few years!

Elaheil Ambara |

Elaheil tries to convince the fates to make this game start
Diplomacy1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
After a moment of suplication he reads the magical auras swirling across the grassy plains to determine his success
Spellcraft1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
After a brief moment his heart sinks as he realizes that he has not had any effect.

I will be using Roll20.net for the maps when they are necessary. Such as now.
For those of you who do not have one you will need to create a Roll20.net account. You can get to the Ironfang Invasion game that I have on Roll20.net with this link, where you will be prompted to either sign in or create a new account.
I will also need each of you to look around on the internets for a small image to use as your character portrait for your token in Roll20.net. If you go look at the map that is currently up in Roll20, you will see an example of what I mean. You can convey them to me through email, facebook, or dropbox.

GAH!! Stupid Paizo ate my post.
As I was saying, there is a formatting thing that I request people to do in all the games I run or play in that is different from how Paizo shows you to format.
In the "how to format your post" spoiler below, it says to format a dice expression like this (replaceing { and } by [ and ] as appropriate, of course):
{dice=Name of roll]1d20+7[/dice}
Which will look like this:
Name of roll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
But. If you do this, and someone replies to your post with another dice expression, it will do horrible things.

GAH!! Stupid Paizo ate my post.
As I was saying, there is a formatting thing that I request people to do in all the games I run or play in that is different from how Paizo shows you to format.

Which will look like this:
Name of roll: 1d20 + 100d1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + (6, 14, 20, 10, 11, 15, 15, 6, 5, 16, 20, 4, 14, 2, 14, 4, 12, 14, 3, 20, 3, 4, 2, 15, 11, 16, 14, 19, 7, 13, 20, 8, 3, 7, 14, 19, 8, 13, 18, 7, 18, 4, 18, 20, 3, 3, 9, 10, 6, 19, 15, 12, 15, 11, 15, 15, 14, 10, 2, 9, 20, 17, 14, 16, 11, 9, 9, 16, 2, 5, 7, 7, 20, 13, 9, 5, 13, 3, 15, 12, 18, 11, 10, 11, 11, 10, 16, 16, 12, 11, 19, 6, 13, 11, 12, 13, 3, 19, 1, 17) + 3 = 1155
Like this. Which is unintelligible, and you lose information; there are about seven words that I typed at the beginning of my "reply" that got assimilated into that hellish dice expression. The reason for it is super simple, but if you follow my directions, it will never happen.
Instead of the Paizo way, use the following format:
{ooc]Name of roll: {dice]1d20+7[/dice}.[/ooc}
Which will look like this:
Name of roll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22.
For some reason, it does not do the bad thing if you do not use the "dice=name" formatting.

I saw Brent say something about the roll 20 site. I am also having trouble. All I see is a big black screen. Also, Tyler, I put up a portrait for Elaheil in the PBP folder in drop box

Elaheil Ambara |

I just realized that I was using Kilarra's plus to hit. Elaheim has a +7 not a +9. Sorry, I will use the correct modifier in the future.

Up to you, really. I will resolve combat posts in initiative order. Sometimes this might create a conflict, such as when one person posts they want to attack enemy#4 and someone else who acts before them kills enemy#4. I try to reconcile these inconsistencies in ways that would make sense and be an intelligent action for your character to make. Sometimes I will ask for more input from the players involved, but usually there is a good action to take.
TL:DR
You can post now if you want, and I will resolve your action at your initiative.

MisterLurch |

Tony contacted me and is going to withdraw from the campaign. His RL obligations leave him with not enough time to commit to one post every three days.
I have left him with an open invitation to re-join us if his other obligations allow.
So, for the three of you, do we bring in another, do we continue with only three, or do I give you an NPC to round out your group?

Speaks-With-Dead |

So I have a friend, Tucker, who's played DnD before and has expressed interest in doing a play-by-post. He's available frequently and I live with him so i'd be able to remind him to post and stuff and Eric and I would be able to walk him through character creation and help him with learning the slightly different system (i believe he played 4 or 5e DnD) if everyone would be up to playing with a guy new to pathfinder but fairly experienced with RPGs.

Speaks-With-Dead |

You're confusing Tucker with my other friend Chris. Christ played 1 time with us in the first Kingmaker game and never made it to any other sessions. Tucker has talked about playing with us before with Dad and I but never actually has. But that's great, i can work with him and Dad to help put his character together probably tomorrow. Would we just pick up immediately after that first encounter?

Elaheil Ambara |

I think Tucker would be a great addition. One other person we may consider is Kavis, who has played Pathfinder before and has said he want to join a pathfinder game very recently. Frankly I am fine with inviting both of them provided we do not get stuck for days on end waiting for them to post and yes, before anyone says it, I know I have been guilty of such crimes in the past but the more people the higher the probability it is that it happens.

Elaheil Ambara |

I have been working with Kavis but I am not sure where Tanis is with Tucker. I do know that Tucker is looking at a ranger/ranged type. He was specifically interested in Crossbows instead of bows so I told him he may want to look at the Boltace but I have not heard anything since then.

Janus Draugur |

This is Tyler. If you look at the profile for this character you will see a good example of a profile that I find easy to read.
None of you have to do it this way, I am just showing it as an example because I have been complimented on how I format my profiles and a couple of times it has made the razor's edge difference in selection for a PbP I was trying to get into. So I feel pretty confident in saying it is well done.
Sorry if that came off conceited or pedantic.

MisterLurch |

First of all, welcome to Tucker and Kavis! Glad to have you with us.
For the most part your characters look good. I have added a few comments regarding your profiles.
I would ask please that you take a moment, if you have not already, and look at the first post I made in the recruitment document. Though you are already both welcomed to the game, it will give you an idea of the kinds of things I consider important, as well as the house rules and guidelines for this game.
