shockingly only marhok takes any hits

Then a line of electricity rockets through 1d3 ⇒ 3 Murigo's space, but 1d20 ⇒ 6 he deftly turns a back flip and is missed

Hells no. Murago mutters and charges the caster, 2d20 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10 but he subtly shifts out of the way

1d20 ⇒ 5 he whips his rapier across the casters face, dealing 1d6 + 6 + 5d6 ⇒ (3) + 6 + (4, 1, 2, 6, 1) = 23

Don't think the map is accurate on this, but can I assume that on all 12 squares around Marhok there are enemies? In other words Great cleave might be used to great effect?

edric is flanked and is lets say 15 feet away, and there are two other tiefings who were flaking Murago 15 feet the other direction

Marhok slams into the first of the tieflings, rage flashing in his eyes.

Edric drops his crossbow, takes out his mace and takes a total defensive stance.

Marhok Quickyl drops two foes

The caster steps back and blasts 2 scorching rays at Murago

Murago moves around to the other side of the caster and attacks, after moving about 15 feet, an odd move to be sure

Marhok moves over to help Edric and closes the distance so he can swing at one of the flanking tieflings.

Edric sees Marhok is about to close the distance and takes out his mace to flank with him, though he keeps a defensive posture about him.

Murago plunges his rapier and safer into the caster 4 times killing it

just calling it. Combat over!

OK rest up, pick spells for the next day

Marhok, Edric and Murago take a relatively slow walk back toward the main camp during which Marhok complements both Edric and Murago on their fine work.

"Murago, I thought I was fast at defeating my enemies, but you are no slouch as well. I'm glad we have you on our side. I'll let the others know of your usefullness and skill."

When the group gets back to the main camp, Marhok tells Irabeth everything that happened and includes Murago's skill of blades.

Unless she has more to tell them, he and Edric will take some sleep and heal up.

The next morning at breakfast Irabeth asks the two of you to venture back to the mausoleum and check for a potion cache there as well, as some sketchy Intel suggested there might be something that was missed

Edric and Marhok go back to the mausoleum and Edric finishes his work there by consecrating the area thereby cleansing it of any undead taint.

Afterwards Edric comes back to Marhok and sighs.
"At least this is a small light in a place of darkness. For it to last we need to take this city as well."

Marhok places a strong hand on Edric's shoulder. [b]"We will, my friend. We will. But first let's take some time to check for those potions Irabeth mentioned.

Marhok and Edric arrive at the Mausoleum, and they move in and find the alter pushed aside and everything has been taken.

On the way out a shadow falls over Marhok and Edric, both look up to see a massive beast with 3 heads approaching!

Arcana check then you have 2 rds to prep. This is your first mythic foe, that gets to act twice per round, it has won init and lost init. Meaning it will act then you, then it will act twice then you etc. Take your time on this, and be careful. I will put up a basic map

Marhok will drink a potion of Enlarge Person, then drink another one of Bull's Strength.

Edric has no idea as to what kind of beast this is and aims to protect Him and Marhok by casting Protection from Evil on them both.

I already wondered when I would have my first mythic encounter. Let's see if a lone barbarian can make it.

The beast lands 30 feet in front of the two of you and unleashes a torrent of cold, filled with sharp projectiles that hits you both DC 19 for half

Reflex Save Marhok: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 2 = 22

Marhok is able to roll away quite quickly to avoid the brunt of the icy asault, but Edric is hit full on and shivers and winces when the icy cold projectiles hit him.

"Edric?! You okay?" Marhok shouts.

"I'm okay. Just a little cold that's all. Return the favour to it will you?" Edric shivers but then starts to cast a spell.

Edric casts Prayer, +1 to their attack, damage and Saves and skills, -1 for whatever this three-headed thing is. Mythologically it could be a Chimera.

Marhok's eyes flare as he looks back at te three-headed monster before him.

"You've made a bad decision coming here. RaaAAAHHH!!" Marhok charges the beast with all his might and tries to do as much damage to it as possible.

Also Marhok would use his ability to avoid reach if the thing has more than 10 feet reach.

mechanically this thing has DR CI and Epic or Good and Epic so be ready for that, you must use your ability to avoid the AOO, it is not an evil outsider

The heads roar in pain and focus on Marhok with a dangerous glare

Marhok looks bloodied, but he is still in the fight.

Marhok still has 14 extra hitpoints due to rage.

Edric casts a Bless spell and Marhok roars a defiant roar, before chopping away at the chimera.

It bites back

then it falls over, and marhok quickly finishes it. As he does a blast of enegy roars out and engulfs marhok and Edric.

Wow...Didn't think I would survive the encounter. Fighting against something that can attack two times in a turn.

You got lucky and staggered it. If you didnt have the epic weapon you wouldn't have. I thought maybe I should have weekend it after that first round, but it worked out

Irabeth is shocked at the ambush but thrilled that everyone is alright. She lets Marhok know that the battles have gone well, but now there is one last battle to happen, the demons are massing outside the citadel and if they are defeated they will be able to send a force into the citadel itself. She hopes that you will lead that strike, again taking whomever you wish with you.

Once the battle starts she will not be able to help you, but if victorious you should be able to retreat and rest as needed with minimal reinforcements.

"It should be Marlowe," Marhok tells Irabeth, "He fought with us in many a battle, proved his worth and talent, and his versatility. If he's willing I'll have no other beside me and Edric."

"I'll gather up some more personal supplies. My own stock has run out."

Buying enlarge person potions once more, stocking up to six, buying 3 new Bull's Strength potions as well.
