Edric calls out to Marhok to inspire him, then moves out of the way before Marlowe fires his bolt and Marhok flies into a rage as he lays on the ground waiting for Marlowe to fire and hit.

"Marhok get up! We can't beat these guys without your strength. You can bash them all!"

Inspiring Word on Marhok

Marhok lays still and waits for Marlowe's bolt to slam overhead before he tries to get up.

Marhok's eyes burn with fiery anger, leaves his potion on the ground then slams his sword into the ghoul on his left, then tries to slam it into the ghoul on his right.

These ghouls are a bit more nimble than the others tou have faced the first attack misses but the second drops the ghoul.

The remaining Ghoul attacks, but fails to hit, then the room plunges into darkness.

Marhok's first attack seems to miss, but his backhand swing seems to land more forcefully onto the demon.

Edric channel positive energy again to take care of the pesky ghoul menacing Marhok.

Marlowe quickly downs an extract and a shimmering shield forms around him. Then he runs into the roman positions himself to try to interrupt and Coup De gras attempts.

The ghouls bite bounces off the closing shield, while one claw gashes marhoks face

Marlowe pulls and throws a bomb at the ghoul, there is a massive explosion from it though the flames voice marlowe and mark 1d20 ⇒ 10 for 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (1, 2) + 5 = 8

The demon slams the club down on Marhok dealing 14 damage but it's claws and teeth fail to find purchase

Edric seems to mull over the request and shouts back in a fit of rage "Never!"

Edric begins casting a spell and shortly after a spear of blinding white light sprouts up from his symbol to Abadar and he hurls it towards the demon threatening his friend. Spear of Purity

I have a list of spells for Edric that he keeps in these lands. Sadly Remove Paralysis wasn't on it, perhaps a good idea for the following days to have one prepared. I'll post his spell list next day.

1d20 ⇒ 4 the demon's AOO misses..

Since the CDG was interrupted he attempts to slam Marhok with his weapon

1d20 ⇒ 17 AOO, bounces off the magic shield.

Edric casts the same spell again and step in besides Marhok, delivering the same Spear again, but this time in melee.

The demon seems to lose his sight

Marlowe pulls a potion and chugs it down and his muscles grow.

I believe the hp is correct, I took 60 damage in this fight and I believe I healed up completely before.

Also you rolled quite well on the rounds for for paralysis didn't you?

From What I see he took 26 holy damage from Edric and Marhok hasn't been able to touch him yet as he got paralyzed.

Just need that last 19 damage. I'll be home in an hour and half. I'll do it

The demon swings wildly, and manages to connect with Marhok after standing up and Marlowe, failing in his attack

Edric moves up 5 feet to stand in the way of the large demon.

It seems to flinch a bit, then it attacks Edric anyhow. All miss.

Go, no longer paralyzed, but your weapon is not with you

Marhok finally shakes loose from the paralysis, cracks his neck and looks at the demon with contempt.

"You better start running you thrice-cursed demon."

Marhok draws the ranseur of the gargoyle he had with him since his scuffle with the half-orc in Irabeth and Anevia's home and looks very particularly eager to introduce this demon with its pointy end.

Draw the ranseur as part of my move action, swing at the demon from 10 feet away. Hmm thought it was cold-iron as well, guess not.
