Fortitude Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
The stench of the creatures causes Exxor to flash back to the stomach of the beast in the performance, with its roiling acid fumes... it is all he can do to load and fire his crossbow at the nearest foe. At Number 2
Attack: 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 6 - 2 = 22

fort save: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 3 - 2 = 13 Blasted sickness!
He started to growl as the creatures claw cut deep into his skin Readying himself to smash his halberd into it... when he felt his entire body lock up. Panic and fear swept through him, though his face was locked in an annoyed and angry glare.
round 1 of parazation :(

more of a curious question would a purely mechanical item like a crossbow take a penalty to damage if Audi is sickened? His state has literally nothing to do at all with its mechanical effects? Im not arguing im just curious. I cant think I've ever seen that combonation happen before in my two decades of playing

By RAW, yes. I'm so used to PFS that I don't even question it ;-) I suppose the idea if that since I'm not feeling good, I don't do my usual 'awesome' job of aiming for lethal parts of their anatomy. Up to Mini if he wants to house rule it for our poor NPC class PCs :)

Exxor plays a hunch and draws out the book he found in the library about Jabe and holds it high above his head with the cover towards the creature.
Jabe, do you want your soul to find peace? You can fight, or we can help!
Exxor realizes he has no idea what to do next if this does get a response.
If this works great - if not... I am sorry, I thought this was the best chance Exxor has to help Tram!!
| Exxor |
Exxor lowers the book so as to hold it out in front. He takes several steps forward so as to meet Jabe in the middle.
Audi, Brannock, trust me and let Jabe come to me unharmed. If this book allows him to find eternal peace, it is worth the time to give it to him.
Bluff-Secret Message: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
If I understand the secret message skill use correctly, I beat the DC 15 required to deliver the message to Audi and Brannock (and Miro) - I used the spoiler if I am doing it wrong.

He gladly slides back out of range of the reading monster and gladly takes one of the potions from the helpful halfling.
Good thinking Exxor, my life was flashing before my eyes.... man I've drank a lot.

"I could use a Potion." Brannock warily continues to eye Jabe.

That was a bit unexpected... can we trust... him?"
He whispered to the others making sure to keep his halberd in position in case the now normal looking man got a case of the crazies and charged them or something.

"Can we save him?"
| Miro Took |
I'll get some water in him. I have no idea about the ghoul fever though. If any of you know about healing, then lend a hand. Miro pulls out his healer's kit and some antiplague

If you drink a vial of this foul-tasting, milky tonic, you gain a +5 alchemical bonus on Fortitude saving throws against disease for the next hour. If already infected, you may also make two saving throws (without the +5 bonus) that day and use the better result.
He tips the man's head back and feeds him the fluid while working on him with the kit, doing a little purging and bleeding while feeding him water.
Heal,Healer Kit: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

Where is Hippa when we need her!? I know nothing about healing or diseases, the book was my one good idea... anyone else?
Exxor smiles (what he hopes is) an encouraging smile to Miro and will help support Jabe while Miro works.

"perhaps we should let him rest a bit."
