BTW, those of you (Rynjin) in my Post-Apocthulhu campaign should check out the recent posts I've posted there....

I still prefer my plan of letting Humphrey's older brother John know what's going on and let him judge the trial instead of Humphrey. Humphrey can just wait 'till we leave and have Bolingbroke & Jourdemayne resurrected.
But maybe we'll get lucky and Lucifer wants those two souls now and won't let them come back.
Of course, it could go really bad and Humphrey arrests us for illegally executing prisoners before a trial but, since that might end the campaign, I don't think it'll happen.

Don't say it if you don't mean it ;)
I can feel Mike laughing (and if I were to put my head out the window I could probably hear him).
Ah well.
We'll get to see if there's a way to talk out of this or if Humphrey is irredeemably evil.

Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht* |

You say, " This will end the campaign " Like either A) Everyone will get caught and B) Nacht or someone else doesnt just... kill him.

Really, it's no big deal, I think -- Mike and I were chatting before my Absalom Sandbox campaign this weekend and we figured maybe you were just getting bored and a bit frustrated and wanted to get the action going again. I know my gaming style can do that: slow things down with talk and talk, plan and plan, and that sometimes everyone else just wants to kick down the door, kill the orc and steal the pie.
Besides, I think we're getting out of the woods on this one. We'll see....

Hisao of the Yellow Reeds |

Well Hisao thought it would be much stealthier than it ended up being. They were really close to dead anyway and them just quietly bleeding out wouldn't have been surprising he/I figured. Leaving two powerful and sure to be incredibly angry enemy spellcasters alive when they obviously weren't going to be imprisoned would have still been worse than what's happening right now.

Actually, I haven't spent any money since we started at 1st level back at Notre Dame. I ordered some stuff from a contact at The Boar's Head Inn and, even though we had said it was available even prior to us going down to fight the Wererats, I still haven't done that. So let's at least stop by the Boar's Head Inn where I can pick up the items I ordered. Out-of-game, the reason is that I haven't cracked open the book to look for things to buy, and it'll probably be a few days, RL, before I get a chance to.
Can we segue that and just say I bought some stuff, then once I get a chance to peruse the book and decide what to purchase, put in on my character sheet?

Sure, just post what you buy in gameplay when you get the chance.

Hisao of the Yellow Reeds |

We have a lot of plot threads hanging. Do we want to resolve some of them? Can we even? We've got a real Dauphin vs false Dauphin thing in Paris. We've got a sick boy king still in London.

Australia Day, blech, that's not the REAL reason today is the greatest date in the history of the universe!
And not because it's Douglas MacArthur's birthday, either.
Or even Wayne Gretsky's.
Or Jose Mourinho, Brendan Rogers, Ellen Degeneres, Vince Carter, Gideon Stahlberg, Gedion Zelalem, Sebastian Giovinco, Philip Jose Farmer, Paul Newman, David Straitharn, or Eddie Van Halen!
Nope, none of those birthdays compare to REAL greatness of today!

I apologize for my absence, as it was greatly unplanned and annoying. In Kalamazoo, where I currently live, there was a power outage at first about 10 days ago for about 2 days, I was able to use the uni because the campus had generators for most of the important functions. Then not long after it happened AGAIN because of a very bad accident, vehicles were involved. This cut out the power mostly to the area where I lived.
I endevour to catch up to all my games and apologize once more for any interruptions on my behalf.

BTW, you guys would love the tabletop campaigns I am currently running--Ray is one of the players, so I can't give any spoilers here--simultaneously running a Pathfindee campaign that starts in the frontier town of Safeton on the Wild Coast-Pomarj border in the World of Greyhawk; and a 5e D&D campaign that began with the PCs escaping a slave caravan in the Underdark under the Yeomanry in the World of Greyhawk....
Tiamat's greatest fear is that someone might unite all 7 pieces of the Rod of Seven Parts and use it to "unmake" her, dividing her into five individual great wyrms that would hate and work against each other....
To prevent this possibility, Tiamat has hidden each of the 7 parts of the Rod on a different Prime Material World: 4-inch piece on Toril in the Forgotten Realms, 5-inch part in the World of Greyhawk, 6-inch part on Krynn, 8-inch part in the possession of Bargle the Black, outlaw magic-user of Mystara (who has subjugated the humanoids of the Caves of Chaos in Karameikos' northern mountains)--their current mission, 10-inch part in Athas, 12-inch part in Eberron, and 15-inch part in the Wilderlands of Fantasy's City-State of the Invincible Overlord....
The PCs' epic quest is to adventure in each world and unite the Rod of Seven Parts, then challenge Tiamat in Avernus with the artifact and use it to "unmake" the Dragon Queen, ending her evil reign for all time!

Farrukh Al-Khatel |

Nice!
Of course your main obstacle will be prying the 15 inch part from my COLD DEAD HANDS.

Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht* |

Just a note Nacht has Outflank as well, which teamed with TWF would be quite alot of damage not to mention a hefty reward for flanking.

Sundakan |

Ehhh...
I've already done that with several characters. Plus, it would require a lot of skill point redirection, and it doesn't super fit the character. He's more of a goody goody who's a solid fighter than a stone cold badass.
Some way to take hits for allies or something would be cool. Archon Style exists but it sucks hardcore, and requires a ton of Feats to boot. I have Paladin's Sacrifice prepared though, so close enough there.
I was hoping Weaponmaster's Handbook or one of the newer books might have something worthwhile. I know there's not a ton of interesting Feats in most of the other books that work with a 2H non-Reach user.

Hisao of the Yellow Reeds |

Hrm... Hisao has turned into a character who's a total terror as long as there is nothing that beats invisibility which there will be more and more of. Should diversity him somewhat I think.

Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht* |

Yeah you might want to, besides just the Spell See invis and True Seeing, there are some monsters who simply do not have eyes or have alternate ways of seeing.
Hisao still has the common issue of being easier to strike and harm with AOE's, as well as DR or Resistence/Immunity to crits. A lvl 2 barbarian with Uncanny Dodge invalidates alot of what he is.
For Al, I think there was something about Divine Fighting Styles and some Weapon Tricks for 2Handers

Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht* |

Hisao cant pick up power attack (Str too low), perhaps you mean Piranha strike? If so that is indeed a nice feat to have.
The question is, what do you want to do with Hisao?

Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht* |

Its unfortunate but the standard, Intimancer build doesnt fit him either. Luckily he's a Pally rather than Fighter though.. so he has spells and abilities and whatnot. I suppose you could Go Combat Reflexes>Bodyguard>In harms way Route.
