Mazes and Minotaurs: the Hero with a thousand faces

Anyone interested in MMing or playing Mazes & Minotaurs. (an old school game, based on: "Jason and the Argonauts" and "Clash of the Titans")

I'm looking for players for my Mazes & Minotaurs game. But have not had much interest here. So I've moved it back to role Play Marketplace.

I tend to like role-play more than roll play.

I like core rules more than suppliments. the only books I still have are D&D 3.5, B5 and the book of Erotic fantasy. But the I discovered M&M, with it's simple old school system. I've been playing since 1st ed AD&D, so M&M really appeals to me.

And If I can get some help with it I might be interested... Though I literally have little knowledge of OD&D/AD&D...

Here are the approximate D&D equivalents For M&M Classes and Stats:

M&M D&D
Barabarian = male Barbarian
Amazon = female Barbarian
Centaur = Barbarian on a horse
Noble = Fighter with 10X the starting money of other classes. (The best starting Class. But the advantage soon disipates)
Spearman = Fighter who works as a unit. (The best Class. But only if there are at least two of them.)
Priest = Cleric
Lyricist = Bard
Elementalist = Invoker (Wizard)
Sorceror = Illusionist (Wizard) with Psionics
Nymph = (Erotic?) Druid
Hunter = Ranger
Thief = Thief (Rogue)

Might = Str and Con
Skill = Dex
Wits = Int
Luck = Saving throws
Will = Wis
Grace = Chr

Luck Seems more like it is in Fallout...

I think if I can play I would like to play a Spearman if we had a second one otherwise I would play a Barbarian.

Are we using the 2d6+6 method or what?

Your Character has been accepted. I changed my mind on stats when I moved the game over there. Now it's roll 18d6 and assign 3 dice to each stat. (This method allows more extremes)
