I'm going to at least start moving the original party back towards Fairhill tomorrow. We can bring you in then.

Posting to all my games :

As you should know by now, I'm going to Kuwait for two weeks and leaving today. This week has been very hectic between work, preparing for the trip, and having my work laptop bricked by our IT folks yesterday afternoon (and spending 6 hours getting data off the drive and resetting the OS).

I will try to get a post up on all games today before I go, but it will likely be this weekend before I can post, assuming I can do so from the hotel in Kuwait. I'll also be on Kuwait time, so likely I will only get a post or two up a day due to time differences.

I'll be back to US time in two weeks.

Have a safe trip, mdt. I'll DMPC you when neccesary, unless I see otherwise.

Not a problem. With thanksgiving coming up, the wife and I have have been 'voluntold' that we are celebrating with my wife's sister in Houston this year. Between that and going with friends to the Texas Renaissance Festival Saturday, my last post for next week will be on Wednesday. I am hoping that, by the time we all get back together around 12/1, we'll have another new character or two, and we'll be investigating what's left of Fairhill and the surrounding environs.

Have a wonderful Turkey day everyone, I'll be out of town until Monday at this point.

Friday, 4PM : Collapse in bed
Saturday : Run around doing everything I thought I had 4 days off to do.
Sunday : Repeat running around, collapse, sick and coughing. Take nyquil
Monday : 2:30AM, get up and get ready for 5AM flight.
Monday : 4:15AM, realize I left laptop at house, no computer, call wife, arrange to have it overnighted.
Monday : 7AM, Get on connecting flight to Calgary, wait 90 minutes on tarmack
Monday : Noon Calgary time : Land Calgary
Tuesday : Noon, laptop arrives

So I've heard. I also heard that the sequel is one of those things that should have been placed in a box, stamped TOP SECRET, and placed in the same warehouse the last Indiana Jones movie should have been, hopefully lost forever. :P LOL

OK guys, let's have a little talk.

I've been made aware by a friend of mine that both of my groups are feeling detached from the group, since the pace has slowed down considerably from when we started. I want to first apologize; it was not my intention to have this happen, and I didn't realize that it was happening until it was pointed out to me this morning. My RL situation is that, I've been trying to find a stable job since late October, and that was where my focus was for the most part.

The good news is that I have in fact found a position; I started this Wednesday. the bad news is that, since I am a tax accountant, I'm starting work right at the time that the IRS wants to torture us poor accountants.

So here is where we are at: I don't want to stop playing. However, my work environment is still firming up (i.e. new guy, learning the office rules, etc.) and I don't know how often I can post yet. I don't want to just shut down the games, but I want to hear feedback on your opinions before I make any decisions. Please tell me what you're thinking at this point.

Right now most of the action has been with the scouting. I feel once we enter a more active setting things will pick up.

On the scouting end, the party only has one person capable of contributing. The rest of us are just tagging along.

I always feel bad about the scouting too. It wasn't so bad when we had two of us to split up to do the scouting (half the time, twice the posts). :(
