Orin: 4
Prazil: 6
Kereek: 15
Antagonists: 13
Agnar again heals the group, the energy just reviving Orin from his comatose state, as Treshiell's glare, Prazil's arrow and Kereek's last blast of fire sends the remaining living troll falling screaming to the ground. Where he is unconscious.

Orin Ro |

Orin travels down a long tunnel of light, emerging on a bluff overlooking an expanse of the most pristine forest he has ever seen. Green trees as far as the eye can see. Standing there waiting for him are his parents, looking as he remembered them before they died when he was six years old. Standing behind them was his adopted father, the woodsman who raised him looking very much like he did three years ago, before Orin razed their homestead as a funeral pyre as he set out on his vendetta against the bandits that slew him.
A tear begins to well up in the gruff Ranger's eye as he feels an inexorable pull dragging him back down the tunnel. His wordless cry echoing behind him.
His eyes flicker open as the bright sun stabs into his brain. "This is not the Happy Hunting Grounds" he thinks to himself a second before the pain of his wounds snaps him back to reality "Oh yeah, trolls." He feels about for his sword before getting, wobbly, back to his feet his sword ready to slash or defend.

Orin Ro |

As Orin suffers the onslaught of Kobold affection he grins "Take it easy boys or you might finish what the trolls started." He nods at Agnar before saying "Praise be." to the Priest of Erastil. Walking over to Treshiell he takes the young Witch in a big bear hug, "N' m-r dúinn labhairt" he whispers in her ear.
"We need to talk"
Releasing the girl Orin walks over to the downed trolls and raising his sword high brings it down with all his might on the troll that attacked him.
Coup DeGrace: 4d4 + 12 ⇒ (4, 3, 4, 4) + 12 = 27 DC:37 Fortitude save
Turning to the sleeping troll he looks at Kereek and raises his eyebrow as if to say "What do you think?"

Agnar Hrolfson |

"Praise be," Agnar replies with a nod. "Though if we're going to make it stick I'll want to heal those wounds properly."
After Orin uses his sword to lay open the fallen troll, Agnar fumbles in a pouch and produces a flask of acid opening the top and pouring the contents into the wound, concentrating on organs he's pretty sure the troll needs to survive.
"If that troll wakes up, we'll likely get more of the same, or else he'll just run back inside and get more. We need to do something quick."
Agnar takes his holy symbol and mutters a prayer, laying a hand lightly on the worst of the ranger's wounds. Converting dispel magic to a cure: 3d8 + 5 ⇒ (3, 5, 5) + 5 = 18

Treshiell |

"Déanann muid?" Treshiell asks the ranger then bends down to gather some dirt to administer the ward once more. Once the ritual is done she looks at the sleeping troll. "He won't sleep forever. The one that attacked us is dead, and since Orin is not that might be enough. Do we continue with diplomacy now?" she asks.
We do?

Prazil |

Prazil stows his bow and recovers his hammer and shield once it seems Orin is well. He trots over to the sleeping troll and fishes out the length of chain they'd used to bind the troll who'd kidnapped Tyg and offers it to Orin.
---
"Prazil am thinking this am not what diplo-mancy am supposed to be looking like. We am for going inside now?"

Agnar Hrolfson |

"Damn. They're trolls. This is going to end badly. Orin, chain that one up and then shove it off the ledge. Treshiell, put up that mist of yours so they can't shoot us from inside or count our numbers. Kereek, if Hargulka doesn't come out to talk, then these trolls are likely going to rip us to pieces. You have enough fire to deal with them? Prazil, don't let them past that door. Damn it all to hell..."
In the meantime, Agnar lays another healing spell upon Orin, and then stands behind Prazil with his longspear at the ready. Converted delay poison: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (4, 1) + 5 = 10 hp healed.

Prazil |

Prazil offers Orin his potion of cure serious wounds before drinking a potion of aid himself.

Prazil |

Prazil does his best to keep the troll occupied and not clawing his friends to death, but clings to hope that diplomancy will win the day regardless. He doesn't strike the troll first, but instead waits for the troll to attack before he commits to violence.

"What mist would that be*?" Treshiell asks but doesn't get an answer before the troll appears in the door. She takes a step back and readies a curse, waiting to react to what the troll does.
Hold
* Don't have Obscuring mist memorized sadly. Should have memorized more combat spells before coming here me thinks.

Seeing Orin slay the first troll, the new arrival roars in anger and slashes at Prazil, who manages to stab him before his fangs and claws scrap off the kobold's armor with bone-rattling strength.
Even as he watches, Agnar's spear bounces off the troll's thick hide, and the massive creature's wounds knit closed.

Treshiell's curse hits the troll Not sure which you want to use; went with misfortune as Kereek's spell bathes him in a spray of colors, stunning him.
Prazil and Agnar poke at him, the latter drawing blood, though the wound quickly begins to heal.
Suddenly, though, a roar from behind splits the ear.
"What is happening here? You dare attack me? You realize, even if you survive, this means war!"
Hargulka has arrived.
You can try to make Diplomacy checks to end combat if you want.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Treshiell |

Not sure which you want to use; went with misfortune
Oops, a copy+paste error. Yep, I ment to use the misfortune.
"There you are. We came to talk but they would not let us", Treshiell says and releases her curse on the troll. "If you want to resolve this with words, we are too", she continues calmly and holds her hands up.
Diplomacy check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
(I thought I had a bigger bonus than six..)

Agnar Hrolfson |

Agnar says, while still fending off the troll at the door: "If you'd teach your thugs to ask 'Who is it?' and announce guests rather than jumping out and tearing them to shreds, you'd lose less gol'rammed door guards. Call off your troops and hear Kereek out, or I'm of a mind to start your war right here and finish it with a prayer of thanksgiving to Erastil over a pile of troll parts in an acid bath!"
Agnar's Intimidate check (while apparently channeling Malcolm Reynolds) to force Hargulka to act friendly for the duration: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Orin Ro |

"You're attempts to stir up trouble in our kingdom can already be construed as an act of war. We decided not to wait to meet you and when we approached we were attacked." Orin grins nastily as he toes the dead troll at his feet "They attacked us, they died. An apt metaphor don't you think? Orin leaves the implied threat hanging in the air.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Wow, that sucked

Prazil |

"No! They am for asking questions first! And there am only five of us! And, and you am big, strong trolls! So, even if we am for being here to fight, which we am not, we am here for diplomancy, but if we was not for being for diplomancy you am not for being worried about five of us. Uhhh... right?" Prazil's nervousness gets the better of him as his earnest assertions jumble together in long run-on sentences. And, not yet convinced the troll in front of him won't try to pound him into the dirt before rushing into his friends behind, he keeps his shield and guard up. Though his words might not carry much weight, the little kobold holds his ground.
He whispers over his shoulder, "Aggynar, can you be for saving other trolls? Hagru- Hakgu- big troll king may be more for listening to diplomancy if we not standing on top of dead trolls."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

Kereek! |

"You trolls am attacking US! We am showing up, no weapons out and trolls am attacking! If you am wanting to talk to guests, you am telling trolls not to attack guests. We am come to find out why you am paying troll to make trouble for Hartsland up north. Why you am being bad neighbor?"

Agnar Hrolfson |

"Aggynar, can you be for saving other trolls? Hagru- Hakgu- big troll king may be more for listening to diplomancy if we not standing on top of dead trolls."
"Sorry, Prazil. Even if I could bring the dead, I wouldn't bring back two more soldiers for Hargulka to attack us with if this talk doesn't go well."

Kereek! |

Kereek looks confused. "Would it better to kill them with acid? Kereek am not trolls scholar. But if you am determined to be offended when YOU AM SENDING TROLL TO MAKE TROUBLE FOR HARTSLAND, then Kereek am happy to kill you with fire, too!" The little kobold jumps up and down, small flames appearing around his fist as it jabs in the direction of the evil troll.
