Davick and Flynt noticed that below the glowing numbers, there seemed to be some kind of indentation.

"Umm, everyone, perhaps the gems go to the walls." He stated while pointing to what he discovered.

"Good idea." Flynt will try that.Same numbers.

As Flynt put the gem in the slot under the five, four little metal appendages came out to hold it into place. However, when he got to the three, nothing happened.

"Okay. So I was wrong on the numbers too." Flynt will try 6 next.

The gem becomes held in place as Flynt places it under the six. Going back to the three, it too becomes held and the same for the eight. Once all of the gems were in place, the panels with the numbers three, six, nine and twelve rise, revealing three new passageways.

Just to note, you all came in at the 12 panel. So the unknown passages are 3, 6, and 9.

Lol. It's like I'm back in college again.

Flynt looks for tracks to possibly help decide what passageway to go down.

Tikkle:
You manage to catch a faint scent of Jeggs, but once again, it seems to be coming from multiple places at once.

Flynt:
You notice a metal plaque in the each corridor. One depicted a man with a bow drawn in corridor 3, another with a beautiful woman in corridor 6, and a basilisk was on the third plaque in corridor 9. But there were no sign of any tracks on the pristine floors.Does that make sense?

Male Trapper/Guide 7 HP: 69/69; AC: 18, T: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +8, Ref: +9, Will: +5; Init: +5, Perception +17

Yea.

"Let's not go down corridor nine."

Flynt will point out the plaques to everyone. "Even if it weren't a sign of what's down the corridor, just looks bad to me."

Male Human Witch 7 HP: 31/31; AC: 14(18), T: 11, FF: 10; Fort: +4, Ref: +7, Will: +6; Initiative: +1, Perception: +3

"Fair enough or...it could be the opposite of what's down there," Christophe muses. "So far this place has defied expectations...I wouldn't be surprised if the beautiful woman was a medusa, the man with the bow a centaur and the basilisk une pute avec un problème de regard fixe."

Female Half-Orc Brawler 7 HP: 59/66; AC: 19, T: 14, FF: 15; Fort: +5, Ref: +7, Will: +3; Init: +3; Perception: +11, Sense Motive: +11, Intimidate: +16

Knowledge (Local) DC 15:

The Hunter, The Nymph, and the Basilisk

There once was a man from Thratur,
Whose skills made the best Hunter.

Fish and Fowl and other Game,
There was nothing he couldn't hunt or tame.

One day in the forest,
He lay down to rest.

And when he awoke,
A true beauty spoke.

She told of a beast,
That on her companions, it did feast.

For days he tracked,
Followed those it attacked.

He found a Basilisk,
Its gaze he could not risk.

After a desparate fight,
The beast took flight.

The Hunter gave chase,
But to the Nymph the beast raced.

Too late the man arrived,
The Nymph did not survive.

The Hunter would never relent,
He vowed its death would be his repent.

Frowning, Anyka recites the poem she'd heard that seems appropriate.

"We can't speculate anything without more information. We don't know what lead us down here or ever what this place is so we're basically picking a door at random. I don't really see a right or wrong path, so it's possible they just lead to different parts of the structure." Jin says.

Jin walks around and looks down each pathway looking for signs of recent travel. "Jeggs scent is our best clue, making it disappear would be much easier than spreading it around. I don't suppose you can tell if one trail is older or newer than any other?" Jin asks Tikkle.

Jin:
The only records of a place like this you are aware of, is a book on pocket dimensions.....and your recollection of the Pipers lair.

As he walks by Jin and Anyka, Tikkle's whiskers twitch as he notices something. "Magic smell... Magically created scents have this particular top note, like a scorched smell, almost imperceptible. You two smell like it because of prestidigitation, but I'll bet..." He kneels at each of the three paths, using his coffee bean after each one. As he stands at the Hunter's path he muses "I wonder what he thinks he's getting revenge for by taking my brother..."
He motions to the others.

Sorry for the delay, I really need to get a better handle on this. I feel like I'm letting you guys down.

You all make your way down the corridor. After several minutes you come to a small stone room with three other doorways. Above each is another plaque. The Hunter on the left, the Nymph in the center, and the Basilisk on the right.

You progress down the Nymph passage, nothing seems to have changed. Tikkle lead the way, his nose twitching, searching for any hint of Jeggs. Then he felt it, a strange sort of sensation that permeated the air. Suddenly, tendrils of energy descended upon the group, each wrapping themselves around various weapons. After they dissipated, the items seemed...different.

This is a minor recton of gear. I'll allow you to swap out one ability or enhancement on a single item to be swapped for another of equal or lesser value. For instance, you can swap a +1 enhancement bonus for the frost property. Please list what you are changing in the discussion board. If you have questions, ask me.
