Cricket opens the door and gets a faceful of shadow and brimstone and malevolence, roughly in the shape of a savage hound or hyena! While struggling to keep the thing off of him, he notices that the barn itself is packed with rotting, diseased-looking corpses -- probably sixteen or so -- which immediately begin shambling towards the open door.
Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Attacks: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 161d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 101d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 131d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 51d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 221d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Sneak Attack (if acts first): 2d6 ⇒ (3, 4) = 72d6 ⇒ (2, 6) = 82d6 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2

Jaegr "Knock Knock" |

Jaegr Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Jaegr moves quickly to Cricket's Aid, attacking the shadowy hyena.
Power Attack with Crushing Blow in Stone Stance: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (16) + 10 - 2 = 24 Ignore 2 Points of opponent's Armor Bonus
Damage: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (7) + 16 = 23
Temporary Hit Points: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 10

Kirth Gersen |

Unlike the main house, the barn is set back from the road, so the distance from the front door to the barn door is close to 50 ft. (greater than 20 ft. move, or even a 40-ft. charge). Jaegr can jog there on his initiative count (before Cricket gets jumped). His attack will take place next round, unless he countermands it before then.

Miralda |

Miralda Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28
Miralda shrieks as the barn door opens. "Kelgan! Close the door! I can put a spell on it to keep the zombies in!"
Of course, given Miralda's lack of tactical acumen, you might well be better off just killing them. Up to you entirely!

Wyvurn |

Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
So I am going to go ahead and use the new rules as I think the Alertness and Sixth Sense feat got combined. If that is the case, my initiative is 13
Wyvurn's loping gait will get him there on a charge. He lowers his shoulder at the last second and dive's at the things legs to prevent it from mauling Cricket.
Check? Unbalance? Interrupt Action?: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
and that's not good...

Kirth Gersen |

Wolvie bites the hyena-dog-thing, causing it to yelp in annoyance; as a side-effect, the thing is tripped to the floor.
Meanswhile, Cricket tries to shove the door closed against the prone body:
CMB 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Success! The hyena-wolf-thing and zombies are now shut into the barn again.

Kirth Gersen |

Victor Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
Victor waits until Jaegr and Wyvurn move to the barn door, then walks about halfway to the barn behind them. Lifting a sickle he pulls from his coat, he channels a dark burst of negative energy:
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 5, 4) = 12 (DC 15 Will for half).

Kirth Gersen |

Caspian is so fast that he sees what's coming and can act before Victor does!
Initiative Order:
1. Caspian (can pre-emptively act)
2. Jaegr (moved to barn)
3. Victor (waited until count 6.5, then walked & channeled)
4. Cricket & Wolvie (bit monster, closed door)
5. Miralda (shrieked)
6. Wyvurn (moved and attempted maneuver; assumed to assist in door slamming)
7. Monsters (locked in barn)
8. Kelgan (hustling to catch up)

Jaegr "Knock Knock" |

Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 If this is a supernatural effect I don't believe I get my other bonuses
When the barn door gets closed and Victor channels negative energy, Jaegr turns back and runs towards Victor swinging, "Ah Victor, you should have chosen to drink instead today."
Power Attack with Crushing Blow Charging: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 10 + 2 = 31 Ignore 2 Points of opponent's Armor Bonus
Damage: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17
Confirm Power Attack with Crushing Blow Charging: 1d20 + 10 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 10 + 2 + 3 = 23 Ignore 2 Points of opponent's Armor Bonus
Extra Damage if Confirmed: 3d8 + 48 ⇒ (3, 7, 2) + 48 = 60
Not sure if this is the same day or not from the Boar fight in terms of having Grit available, but if this confirms I regain that point?

Kirth Gersen |

Jaegr envisions exactly what he's going to do to Victor next round. Meanwhile, Caspian takes his 1st round action, Kelgan catches up with the others, and then Caspian starts off the next round.
I'm assuming it's evening of the same day, but yes, if confirmed, you'll regain that point. And I almost hope you manage to do 77 points of damage to our friend Victor in a single blow!

Kirth Gersen |

Caspian launches his flask as the door opens, as soon as he catches sight of the zombies.
Barn Door AC: 10 -1 (size) -5 (Dex) = 4
-4 to attack due to soft cover* = 2
In trying to make sure he avoids setting Cricket or Wolvie on fire, Caspian fails to lob the flask through the doorway. It strikes the side of the barn, deals 1 point of fire damage, and goes out in the dirt.

Kirth Gersen |

Jaegr's sudden charge catches Victor off-guard; one moment, the skinny guy is raising his sickle again and starting to chant some kind of spell; the next he's a crumpled remnant on the ground, with some bits of bone where his head used to be.
Wiping off his pick in the grass, Jaegr feels satisfaction for a job well done, but kind of wishes he could have saved that blow for a more deserving opponent.
Grit regain confirmed for Jaegr.

Miralda |

Miralda doodles some symbols on the barn door and says, "This might not work, because a door is not technically a person, but hopefully it will keep the zombies and hyena-thing from battering the door open for the next couple of minutes, while we decide what to do with them."

Kirth Gersen |

The barn, being made of wood, kindles nicely. It's even better when the straw inside finally catches fire when Caspian slings a flask through the loft window. Soon the blaze forces you to move back. You try to ignore the wailings of some of the zombies and the shrieks of the hyena-dog-thing.
The only surprise comes when a more agile-looking bipedal shape emerges onto the roof and leaps down:
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Attack roll to land on someone: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Target (alphabetical): 1d6 ⇒ 1

Jaegr "Knock Knock" |

Jaegr assumes the fighting stance "Form of the Mountain" and brings his weapon down upon the agile leaping creature. +2 Keen weapon if that matters
Power Attack with Crushing Blow in Stone Stance: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 10 - 2 = 23 Ignore 2 Points of opponent's Armor Bonus
Damage: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20
Temporary Hit Points: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) = 8

Kirth Gersen |

For a moment, it seems like the creature is going to shrug off the wound, like needing a silver bullet to kill a werewolf, but Jaegr's deep connection with his ancestral pick renders the weapon more than merely forged steel. The creature howls as the blow strikes, and glares at Jaegr balefully.

Cricket the Sexy Goblin Druid |

[Woops. I composed a post back on Friday, I swear! I wonder why I didn't send it...]
Cricket swings his staff in a variety of amazing displays of virtuosic staff-wielding technique!
Bluff1d20 ⇒ 11
Meanwhile, he yells out Sic 'em, Wolvie!
Handle Animal1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18
Hopefully, Wolvie obeys.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 + trip

Kirth Gersen |

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
The red-eyed creature stares in slack-jawed amazement at Cricket's display, losing his Dex modifier to AC and giving Wolvie a +2 circumstance bonus to attack. Wolvie's bite deals only a small amount of damage, however, insofar as it isn't silver. It does succeed in dragging the monster to the ground.

Wyvurn |

Wyvurn will step up to the creature (flanking with Jaegr or Cricket) and give two quick overhand chops with his sword, channeling his ki into the blows.
Sword: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 241d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Sword: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 171d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
ki: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5

Kirth Gersen |

Beneath the power of Wyvurn's ki, the monster cannot hold its physical form together; it collapses into a cloud of mist, which seeps back to the barn as if pulled by a vacuum. Unfortunatly, the coffin it's headed towards -- clearly visible among the wreckage -- is on fire and is soon consumed, leaving the mist nowehere to go. With a wail that's more psychic than audible, it disperses into the wind in all directions and is gone.

Wyvurn |

"I am hoping what we just witnessed was what passes for complete destruction for a vampire. Somehow, I don't think we took care of the problem completely, though. I seem to recall this curse mentioning vampireS not vampiRE."
