In your haste to get the shot off, the first arrow goes wide and clatters off into the underbrush. The second one, however, hits it's mark and drives through the bandits right side. Wounded the man lets out a curse as his eyes lock onto yours.

Next is Damen.

Seeing Brigid hit one of the bandits, Damen took close aim at the same target. He added nothing to her war cry, but muttered something under his breath as he added two of his own arrows in rapid succession.

Like Svetlana, Damen's first arrow flies wide, but the second strikes home and the wounded bandit falls to the ground dead.

Bandit #3 moves forward and attempts a shot at the duo hiding in the trees

Attack-Melee: 1d20 + 2 - 6 ⇒ (6) + 2 - 6 = 2 MISS

Bandit #1 rushes forward overtaking Kessler and ending up right near Damen.

Dandit #5 breaks from his cover under the tree the blind id located in and rushes through the woods towards the invaders.

Gahhh I did it again!!! Brigid...not Svetlana...sorry...thats what I get for posting from work!!!

Male Human (Brevoyic) Fighter (Polearm Master) / 4

Ulryk uses the appearence of the willow-o-wisp like dancing lights as his signal to move forward, now having some idea of where the bandits were and how many of them. They are rather farther than he had anticipated, but puts his trust in Brigid and Damen to withdraw and circle around to join the fight again.

Moving forward, with his back bent low he finds position at one corner of the wagon, his bow in hand. Already he feels the tingle of magic in the air around him, though it seems that Kent's spell has yet to take effect. Pulling back the string of his bow, he aims in the open ground and holds the arrow in position as he bends the string back to the corner of his helmet. He stills his breath and waits, only releasing his arrow when the prey has been flushed out.

Delay action - Firing when either bandit #6 or bandit #7 moves out into the open / presents a good shot. Wasn't sure whether they had cover in the trees, so i'll do it this way. I should be within 200' even after they move, so only a -2 to hit due to range.

Delayed ranged attack: 1d20 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (17) + 3 - 1 = 19

EDIT: Oops, should probably roll damage too.

Arrow'd: 1d8 ⇒ 3

Liberty's Edge

Sorry for the delay...new combat map at bottom of post!!

Ulryk moves into a position where he has a better view of a couple of the bandits and waits.
He doe not have to wait long as a rustling in the trees alerts him to someone up there. Probably firing from a hidden blind, like the one Svetlana and Brigid spoke of. Regardless you see your opportunity and take it as the bandit stands to fire his bow towards where you think Damen and Brigid are hiding.

Bandit #6 Attack-Ranged: 1d20 + 2 - 6 ⇒ (1) + 2 - 6 = -3

The bandits shot is a dismal failure, however Ulryk's is not. While not a killing blow, the arrow does lodge itself firmly in the calf of the bowman. With the yelp he spins around trying to locate where the shot came from.

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 1

He scans the forest, unable to pinpoint the location of the attack.

Bandit #7 starts to move forward when he hears the cry of pain from his colleague in the blind. He stps and also looks back to see what is amiss...

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 11

...and is also unable to locate an foe.

Svetlana your up...and again sorry for the delay on this round.

Like Ulryk, Svetlana saw the glowing, bobbing balls of light in camp as a chance to act. The priestess darted forward alongside the muscular warrior, but when he stopped at the cart she zipped on. The limited light made things difficult, but her movement brought her up to the ford in the stream she had seen earlier while conning the bandits in the blind.

Double move to just in front of the ford. I'm assuming that even with the light pebble and the dancing lights spell that this area is fairly dark. If I'm wrong on this Svetlana stops behind the cart with Ulryk.

Bandit #1 is now dead..my bad I thought Damen shot Kessler. Brigid your shot did hit and wounded the bandit, and Damen's hit killed her. You both get away, moving 30' to the west.

At this point Kessler yells that they are heading for the stream.

Bandits #3 and #5 move towards the stream.

Ulryk your up. Do you need a new map?

Male Human (Brevoyic) Fighter (Polearm Master) / 4

I should be fine, though a new map soon may be needed. I will wing it with two posts below. Post 1) will be if either bandit 3 or 5 is within charging range (remember the stream shouldn't hinder a charge for me because I am large sized now) - Also keep in mind I believe my threat range with my pole-arms is 15' and 20', so I can get them from fairly far... while Post 2) will be if they are not within charging range. Does that work?

1) The darkness and the chaos beyond the glow of the dancing lights made things difficult for Ulryk, but he was thankful for the assistence Svetlana and Leorns magic provided. Had he been relying on just torches like the bandits, he knew he would be floundering. Now that Kent's magic took hold, he towered at twelve feet tall and likely weighed more than his horse. Pushing aside a branch or two that now brushed his visored helm, he stowed his bow with alacrity and just as quickly drew forth his Ranseur.

Using the dancing lights as a guide, he caught the form of one of the bandits rushing toward the stream. Sucking in a deep breath, he stomped over the tiny undergrow and bounded over the piddling stream as he rushed forward from the darkness. It was likely the bandit never even saw him coming (and might still not have) as the three pronged tips of his enlarged Ranseur stabbed forward, driving deep into the man's chest and throwing him backward, leaving him punctured and bleeding. The Ranseur spun within Ulryk's hands, pivoting to face the next bandit to come into his range, the spectral light of Leorn's magic illuminating the dark crismon now coating the cruel steel points.

Charge Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (4, 5) + 7 = 16

Please note my Ac after this attack is reduced to 15 until my next turn

2)The darkness and the chaos beyond the glow of the dancing lights made things difficult for Ulryk, but he was thankful for the assistence Svetlana and Leorns magic provided. Using the dancing lights as a guide, he caught the form of one of the bandits rushing toward the stream. Sucking in a deep breath, he stomped over the tiny undergrow and bounded over the piddling stream as he rushed forward from the darkness. The bandits seemed to be too far for him to reach just yet, so he made for the closest position that seemed to hold some tactical advantage - the space between the two fallen logs. Halting in position, he crouched down slightly and held his pole-arm at the ready, intent to skewer any bandit who came within his considerably enhanced range.

If this is the action that happens, feel free to use my above roll as any Attack of Oppurtunity to speed things up, but reduce its result by two points as I would not be charging -- heres hoping its a good roll.

Svetlana laughed quietly to herself as one of the bandits began screaming about giants. To be fair, Ulryk's massive form was impressive and she was happy he was an ally rather than a foe. But primarily to the priestess the pandamonium in the camp was the best effect working in the party's favor.

Refocusing on her own actions after the brief thought, Svetlana carefully crossed the stream. Her thoughts turned to how best bring Calistria's gifts to bear on the combat, trickery has already played a wonderful role here!, but decided her best bet was to move further in for the best opportunities.

Using one move action to cross the stream. Svetlana's not really threatened at this point so I'd like to take 10 on this under the assumption that crossing would not be more than a DC 12. The second action will also be a move, to a spot just west of the larger log almost in the middle of the map, right next to the branch that sticks out of it. @Daniel: grid square x and y axes designators would help with the maps if possible.

Dodging the flashing axes of Kessler, you almost miss the thrust sent your way by the bandit engaging Damen. Because of this your first shot is wild and the arrow wings off into the dark, however the second is on target and strikes the bandit leader squarely. This seems only to anger the woman, and she keeps coming on.

Damen your turn

At the last moment, Damen twisted away from the bandit with a spear, stumbling slightly but catching himself as Brigid let fly her arrows. He took a moment to glance over what little was in sight. They'd left the lights behind, and relying on what little was available he could only dimly see two enemy figures nearby. From what Happs had said, one seemed to be the bandit leader, a woman with axes. As good a place as any to make a stand....

He dropped his bow and took a step back slightly past Brigid, fitting his buckler to his arm and drawing his morningstar. The small shield might not stand up well to an axe, but Kessler's swings were clumsy. It would help in turning them aside.

Drop bow, 5-foot step NW, then I can don the buckler as a move action and draw my morningstar. AC is now 19. I can't get back and attack, though. Also, on the map I think Leorn should be up right behind Ulryk.

There is was again. That rush of adrenalin, that thrill within his blood and shameful joy that filled his heart as he engaged in combat and ended lives. Ulryk did not have the time or luxury to contemplate the emotion, he merely rode it, letting his training and strength carry him forward.

As the bandit charged for him, he quickly shifted the massive three-pronged Ranseur to intercept the brave man who charged at him. The spectral glow of Leorn's lights illuminated the bandit and Ulryk could see the fear in the man's eyes even as he plunged onward into battle and certain death. Ulryk flicked his right wrist up, bring the unforgiving points of the weapon in line with the charging foe's neck - ending him in a matter of seconds.

His long legs allowed him freedom of movement across the underbrush, but he decided to stay near to the small stream to better keep his barings. Ten to fifteen feet he advanced and when he caught a glimpse of another bandit (#7) he spun his ranseur within his grasp and then thrust forward with his enhanced strength, breaking through thin branches with a spray of leaves as the pole-arm struck from the darkness in an attempt to skewer the wretched brigand.

As the priestess had approached her current position she had observed Ulryk's expanded form skewer a bandit and quickly realized that the man seemed capable of cutting foes down before their much smaller weapons could be brought to bare. With little desire to face any of these men in one-to-one combat, Svetlana instead blew a kiss to the thug and darted off to the north. Catch me if you can! Said playfully, she hoped the words would lure the brigand into Ulryk's ranseur.

Running past the polearmed-wielding warrior, Svetlana danced along the eastern edge of the riverbank. With Ulryk to the south, she also caught the sounds of battle to the north. That must be Damen and Brigid, she thought, but in the swirl of darkness and battle it was difficult to tell where exactly they were. Close enough for a little assistance from Calistria Taking a deep breath and gripping her holy symbol with her left hand, the priestess whisper a few brief words. At that a moment an invisible emanation burst forth in all directions. Those allied with her felt the effect sweep over them like a second wind. A wave of refocused resolve took hold that instilled an intense, yet controlled desire to see these foes laid to rest.

Move action to square two diagonals NW of Ulryk, cast bless. Should get everyone except maybe Kent and Leorne.

It looks like you get everyone in the 50' radius of your spell...so +1 to everyone for attack rolls and save vs fear.

Bandit #4 takes a looks at Svetlana, then Leorn and finally the giant that is Ulryk and decides it might be better to fight another day. He heads off to the south at a dead run, the bandit in the blind yelling curses after him.

I'm not quite sure of the measurements my speed is 30ft and grease has a range of 30 feet
If I can reach then I cast grease under Kessler.
If I can't then I case grease under bandit number 4 he should look at little silly tripping when running away like some chick in a horror flick.

Sorry about that...each square is 5'. I don't think you can make it to Kessler and Bandit #4, because he was running, moved at 4x his regular speed (of 30'0 so is now 120' south of his last position before you even take your turn, so he is out.

Can I even reach anyone? If I can't the I will try and move as close to Kessler as a I can may I will be able to cast on her next turn.
