Locke Vernariah
Locke guiding his horse since he put two of the prisoners on it for the trip back, stops and hands the reigns to the dwarf. He pulls his scimitar offering it to the elf and pulls out his sling expecting the worst.
GM Wolf
It almost appears to be a gnoll, furry arms, almost clawlike hands but five fingers on each hand, leather pants, no boots, feet more like a gnoll big doglike pads with claws.
It responds with a low howl first then happily says, "Hey y'all, glad I could catch up. I just cleaned off the good parts from those gobs and had troubles catching back up in this two legged form."

"Who or what are you?" He ponders whether this is the draconican in a different form but waits for an answer before voicing his speculations.
GM Wolf
The creature drops the gear that covers most of his torso and head, and steps forward showing a wolf man of some kind. He happily says, "I am the draconicon that you left behind, no name at the moment." A staff with scales, bones, and fur on it with a carved beasts head on top is attached to a belt on his waist.
Wolf - Martikio

"How did I drop all the loot? I opened my hands and moved my arms." He says quickly then laughs. Composing himself he explains, "I told you many things could be accomplished with that device. This was one of them, with this staff as a template I was able to remake myself. Just call me Wolf I guess. I can't wait to become a dragon." The last statement looking at Arsil's ring.
Wolf - Martikio
|
"I could only assume the ring, nothing in that horde was strong enough for that magic," he simply says and then asks, "I am not giving out charity but if any of these items are yours then you can have at them, I am sure others will come my way. After all these came from the goblins and ogres." He points to the pile of loot before him.
GM Wolf
The elf and dwarf come forward cautiously and look at the items. The elf takes the armor and slips it on as he grabs a longsword. The dwarf takes a hammer, a belt with a few nice gems on it, and a helmet. The elf graciously thanks him for his generosity, as the dwarf grumbles a bit but with a look from the elf he bows and grabbing his torn jerkin he says thanks quietly and quickly. The others look over the pile and shake their heads.

Then Wolf grabs what is left and does his best to put it all into two sacks.
Locke Vernariah
"With that done shall we get to the Dragon's Draught?" He then helps the prisoners back onto his horse before leading it down the path.
Faeryl Dusk
"sounds like a good plan."
GM Wolf
Without any more inturruptiins the group slowly makes their way to the Dragon's Draught. Though it takes about 12 hours of traveling and one rest for the group.
The Dragon's Draught is festive like always. Cornash the owner sits at the bar with claw like gauntlets covering his forearms and hands. They seem really flexible and durable, let alone deadly. The pathfinder captain seems absent. Servants at the stables take your mounts, others help those who need it into the massive building. It seems to have gained several more levels than there was last time you were here. The servants also offer to take your extra gear up to your room. The servants are a nice change from the last times you were here.
Faeryl Dusk
Faeryl will make sure that the rescuees are cared for properly, roomed and groomed and clothed properly, then fed.
Then, he'll enjoy a bath as well, removing the dust and grime of his recent travels. Once clean, he'll head to the common room to break his fast.
Locke Vernariah
He expends most of his spells to make sure all are healed before going up the stairs to have a female on each arm leading him to his usual room. He stays in his room unless called for.
Arsil Dawnsinger
Arsil will have a little chat with Drake and ask him to keep his ear open for the m"magic man and his crownies"
She will also pick up the new armor that she ordered so many days ago. then she checks to make sure everyone is nicely settle in and that Tholin as everything he needs
Locke Vernariah
Arsil Dawnsinger
She goes down for diner in a nice blue velvet dress
she adress every one that came today with her as soon as she see them Tonight we rest and feast. Locke and I will be leaving on the morning to resume our hunt for goblin. If you wish to come just be ready for departure. Same rules apply
she makes sure that everyone enjoy themselves for the evening and makes sure that Thaolin has a nice place by the fire
GM Wolf
Thaolin carefully walks into the Dragon's Draught after a bit of time he seems to act strange. Eventually he reduces down in size to medium rather than large. He wags his tail as Arsil pets him a bit and makes him a place next to the fire.
Cornash provides a separate feasting room for your group and those that came in with you today.
Faeryl Dusk
"STill goblin hunting eh? Well, in for a penny, in for a pound I guess." Faeryl settles in for a night of good food and drink.
Arsil Dawnsinger
Locke Vernariah
Locke comes down in a simple robe in the morning. Yawning he looks around at the others before sitting. He orders a simple breakfast and greedily eats it once it arrives. While waiting he asks, "I had a wonderful night, thank you Arsil. How did the rest of you fair?"
After a few responses his food arrives and says a prayer over it. His eyes begin to glow golden and he scans the group as he eats.
Wolf - Martikio
|
The night before the feast he was interested in knowing, he milled about asking questions about nearly everything.
At the feast he ate quietly as he listened to the conversation and any stories told.
In the morning he is not found in the Dragon's Draught for he is in the village.
Overall he gives your group a wide berth, focusing on others in the area.
Faeryl Dusk
"I am well-rested, Locke, and ready to continue onwards... It seems the rest of you are as well, except for you Arsil.. you still look tired. Would you prefer to delay another day so you can get more rest? Your quarry may be further away, but still trackable, I'm sure."
Arsil Dawnsinger
Arsil nods to Velerait
I thank you Fearyl but this tiredness comes from having expended some magical energies then just from a lack of sleep. It will be fine and have no impact on our upcoming journey and future battles
she finish her food and heads toward Thaolin as she makes sure he is doing good
as she lovingly fondle his fur
A reminder of our current mission is the curb the greenskin threat and most importantly to find the "magic" man behind the experiments that are altering and changing them
she says before heading out to get her horse ready for departure.
Locke Vernariah
Locke gets his horse ready first then offers to help the others if there is need.
As the group is on the road again he lokks about and asks, "Who will be tracking?"
Faeryl Dusk
"I have some skill.. unless someone prefers to do the honors, I'd be happy to..."
Locke Vernariah
"I might remember but I could not track in the first place. Faeryl it seems you are up for the task then." Locke says jovially but a bit of feeling useless as well.
GM Wolf
The group mounts up and moves towards the crossroads and then to the sight of the goblin massacre. Arsil and Locke leading the group with Faeryl, Rai, Thaolin, and the dragon behind. After leaving the village a large blue black beast begins to follow the group. It seems to be keeping pace with the horses and is about 200 feet away. It appears to be the creature that appeared yesterday at the ogre village.
Survival check to find tracks/trails.
Faeryl Dusk
Faeryl, a bit distracted by the beast that is pacing them, still attempts to find tracks at the crossroads.
survival: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
GM Wolf
Faeryl you find 6 different groups of tracks...
1. a dozen goblins
2. two dozen goblins with some wolves
3. a dozen goblins with a large humanoid with them
4. a half dozen hobgoblins with wolves
5. a half dozen goblins
6. a dozen goblins, their tracks seem to have some liquid in them that glows green.
Faeryl Dusk
Faeryl points out the tracks and which way each goes... he seems especially interested in one set of tracks... "A dozen or so goblins went this way. about two dozen along with wolves followed this path here. Another dozen with a large humanoid went this way. Maybe a six or so with wolves went another... A half dozen or so went that way... and these twelve goblins went this way... and oddly, their trakcs are filled with a glowing green liquid... I wonder what caused that effect. Any ideas about what it might be? And which tracks would you prefer to follow?" (radioactive goblins? lol)
Locke Vernariah
"The green goo tracks is from the crater where you met up with us. The tracks with the large humanoid is likely the ogre village that we recently took care of. Then there was the burnt goblin tree and the goblin village with the catacombs, bad stuff, both which we mostly cleared. It seems that the last location would be with the half dozen or so. Lead on towards that Faeryl. Unless Arsil wants to stop by the flaming castle first?" Locke remembers and questions at the end.
Faeryl Dusk
"That's fine with me unless ARsil has another path in mind... ?"
