Daniel Chelas |
1st day: Daniel will need to find out who does what around the area.
2nd day: Restock general supplies, buy a few healing potions. Without the caravan doctor, it's mandatory.
3rd day: General relaxation, things had been plenty busy his past few weeks. Inn, taking a walk, casual talking with patrons.

Timm Tones |
Timm uses the next days to get to know a little better the group (especially the three, Locke, Arsil and Mirage). He also wanders through the city trying to find a Wand of Cure Light Wounds (bargaining if possible):
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32
With the rest of his time, he will be overall gathering people around and telling stories of his own heroic deeds. If he manages to hear stories about everybody else's (on the party) deeds, he will also chant them around the town. He is trying to raise his own fame as a celebrity and, on the effort, raise the party's fame as well (even if the fame system isn't used in this pbp, I think these actions go well with his background and story anyway) ;)
Perform (Oratory): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 16
Daniel Chelas |
Since Timm is socializing with the group, might as well jump in on that.
During his relaxation on the 3rd day, Daniel meets Timm again.
"Mr Tones. How's the day been to you so far? At the very least it is clear weather, something i've had a lack of the past week and a half."
Arsil Dawnsinger |
Timm Tones |
- Ah! Mr. Chelas! Always a pleasant company.
Timm smiled with sincerity. The bard had a naturally transpiring empathy, but he really appreciated the new companions he was gathering. He adjusted the shades over the nose, with delicate gestures, before continuing.
- Yes, my friend, much better weather. Not that I come from lands with great weather either, to be sincere. I must confess, I do appreciate how my luck had been treating me so far here, and I took the guilty pleasure of telling our past tales of adventure and heroism around the city.
The shades slid.
- Of course, it will be much more precise when I actually witness yours and our companions' abilities, but there's no reason, anyway, not to banquet already our audiences' ears, am I right?
Timm Tones |
- Ho-ho-ho, a little bit of everything, my dear Daniel! - Timm was smiling openly. He was almost cynical as he gestures with the hands - ... As the time you tamed a wild wyvern while being blindfolded, or when we prevented the ascension of the Grand Kobold to become lord of all the Pathfinder Society.
Timm removed his shades and started cleaning them with a gorgeous piece of cloth, while he continued talking.
- You see, people need stories and heroes to believe. Being sincere, past, current or future stories, why would it matter? At the end of the day, our hands and hearts will be fighting for them, and new stories will be told. It's the old secret about every way - only the winner side gets to tell the stories.
Timm Tones |
- You have a point... - says Timm playfully - So I guess we have to make them true now, huh?
He blinked and proceeded to laugh naturally.
GM Wolf |
The weather seems like it is fair and will remain that way for the next few days with a few showers of rain coming in later, likely at the end of the week.
Add the appropriate number of rations
General info easy attained by all:
Captain Drake is the venture captain of the Pathfinder Society for this region of Cheliax. He seems to be a no nonsense kind of man and is efficient with getting his work done.
Cornash the Elf and owner of the Dragon's Draught recently awoke from a sleep of some sort and reclaimed the inn from Kirren one of his sons. He could be a vampire or something else no one really knows. There are guards around the inn and at the front which have no bodies but appear as animated suits of armor.
The help is amiable to help and inform, especially to those who tip better.
Vuvu is the resident healer and alchemist. He runs a shop in the village with another eccentric alchemist.
Cornash runs a magical shop in one of the rooms on the second floor and seems to be very well stocked. Any gear needing to be purchased can be done without problems if the item is under 500 gp. Make sure to make a post of it in gameplay or discussion.

DM:
TArsil will do some research, if possible, on the artifact of Nethis that the ruby world was given in order to apprehend its powers and what it looks like. As normaly raise dead doesn't work on undead
Sorry would you please be a bit more specific about this. Perhaps give me a link to when we spoke of it earlier.
Take note of how many more hours studied with the books.
How much is the armor's price?
A cure light wand with 10 charges can be easily collected from Cornash's with a 10% discount on the price with your check.
Locke Vernariah |
On the third day at noon, the man approaches the others who have collected in the hall. He smiles and sincerely says, Greetings all, is there anything else that needs to be settled or shall we be off?
Arsil Dawnsinger |
I am pretty much ready if it is time to venture back into the wild
Alexander Dart Dumonte |
I am ready, I have found a trail leading off to the northeast, it appears as if the goblins are converging together and moved off towards the destination. its about a week old, and I suspect quite a large number, even for as goblins bands go. also, pack a bit of light rain gear. I have a feeling we are in for slight showers on our mission.
Alex takes no time reporting his findings to Locke and Arsil.
Then takes a look around and softly speaks to just Locke.
the hobgoblin... can he be trusted? I mean no offense, but why should he want to hunt his own kind? As you know, my best friend was killed by a hobgoblin.
GM Wolf |
There is a simple smith in the town who keeps easily busy with orders from the inn and the village. Jonas Smith is a greying middle aged human, who seems to live and work alone. There appears to be no church or even religious speakers in the village. As you asked around the villagers go to the inn if they are hurt or have an ailment, there is always a cleric of somekind there.
Good make sure to keep record of the time and take note of it in your character sheet.
Locke Vernariah |
"Ahhh Alex you must have found the trail of goblins we followed out after they attacked the village." He says simply, not in the least surprised.
He then leans over to quietly speak back with Mirage no where to be seen yet, "Mirage is a hobgoblin and seems to have no quams about hunting goblins, honestly he has proven himself to protect us and I trust him more than you at this very moment. Nothing against you but he has proven himself and I have seen plenty of races fight each other over less reasons than to work together. Give him a chance but keep your reservations if you must. I am not saying trust any of us blindly, but you might come to find out you have more in common with him than you think."

Not sure if you want to use it... I think it's kind of cool, but I do it with bards even if just for the RP hehe.
Timm arrives in fast steps, but with impeccable clothes and well brushed hair.
- Howdy, comrades! - the bard says, cheerfully - I'm ready as well. Should I claim us a good luck cry for the road?
He was already preparing the lungs for some loud reciting.
Timm Tones |
OFF: I guess I should consider I bought a horse as well? I probably have enough money for it...
ON:
Timm nods and mounts to follow. He wasn't exactly skilled on it, but somehow the excitement was reason enough to ride.
Locke Vernariah |
Locke smiles at Alex at his comment then responds with, "We took care of a bunch of them, but they scattered. We are now working to find the rest of them and their nests."
To the group once assembled, "Yes let's be off."
Arsil Dawnsinger |
The whole area is in turnmoil and the different green skin clans and other non human folk are on the war path. No idea why but there seems to be some power play involve. Can someone tel us how long ago it was and if we can find the tracks left by the attackers?
Locke Vernariah |
"The first time I set out with a group of adventurers, we fought these gnolls, we survived but barely. Onwards it is a good omen for the goblins to see, what is to come for them. Some of my previous compaions chose to leave them as such." He says plainly.
Locke Vernariah |
"If you want to clense the land of their bodies I will help you with burning them, otherwise we should head off. Mirage where are we heading to first?" Locke offers and then asks. He settles himself a bit more in the saddle, lifting some of his armor to let it lay better.
Locke Vernariah |
"Well would it matter more what we are searching for? One of the goblin encampments we have been to before or a new group?" Locke asks.
Daniel Chelas |
The party suddenly notice a large runic circle on the ground as it bursts into flames. A large spiked chain flings to and grabs Daniel and his horse.
"Got you, escapee, your innocence matters not, for delightful torture awaits you, HAHAHAHA!!"
Daniel struggles.
"I've done it before and i will ESCAPE AGAIN! Accursed devils!"
He is dragged into the portal with a firm yank....a mere smoldering 10x10 patch remains.
Locke Vernariah |
"What the-!!!" He yells at the sudden scene.
Once all is done and is settled, he asks the group, "Nothing we can do for that poor soul. So which of you fellows have the ability to track?"
Locke Vernariah |
"Perhaps we should head back to refill our forces..." Locke asks as he begins to turn his horse around.
Locke Vernariah |
"I think I will check out our prospects in the Inn and check with Drake. I will send for you when dinner is ready." Locke says as they leave the stables.
