I swear im working harder than anyone here. Stop falling overboard!

Goodie Thornmaple |

I'm sorry. I really thought we were still in round 3. Have we gone to round 4 yet?
Goodie will continue to cackle to keep her curse on the leader, and cast Mage Armor to buff her AC.

Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up* |

Sorry thought we were still on round 3
Kharn will move over to the side of the boat and try to claw one of the dolphins next to the boat.

Wrong! Argan has the right of it in his discussion post, I reshuffled NPC's to the bottom to make combat go faster.
Argan leaves a terrible wound in the side of a triton, watching blood fill the water. Kharn leans far out and grabs a dolphin by the neck, bringing his hand back violently to leave a bloody rake that kills the dolphin. Goodie continues to successfully keep pressure on their leader, while Eryan nimbly (and nobly) sticks his invisible neck far off the side of the boat to save a sailor! The sailor is wounded badly but still alive, collapsing on the boat.
The sailors see their comrade saved and rally themselves, all focusing down one triton and sticking him full of arrows till the body floats in the water, dead.
The tritons continue fighting despite their heavy losses. Their leader resurfaces near an injured triton, placing a glowing hand on him and closing his wounds. Then they all charge the boat, bringing tridents to bear and stabbing at the sailors and party alike. Vladimir gets beset by two, one of them forcing him to get off balance while the other strikes. Vladimir hears a snick, then looks down to see a trident buried several inches deep in his unarmored gut.
They're losing ground pretty quick, but one of them managed to crit Vladimir for 12 damage. You guys are up!

I updated my current AC although it seems you already were on top of that.. Being healed from neg energy Yodler deemed it cool that my touch of corruption could be used to heal like a pallies loh ability..

Goodie Thornmaple |

Goodie curses the leader with Misfortune. If he fails his save DC 16, he must roll twice and take the worst of his rolls. Don't forget his -2 to saves. She also continues to cackle.

Argan Midnight |

This side of the boat clear, Argan moves to the other one, and delivers a mighty-super-Mitranic blow at a Triton. At the same one hit by Vlad if it's still standing. Otherwise the other one.

Totally apropriate. When I think of you, I touch myself...
Eryan puts his hand to the sailors terrible wounds uses his magic to heal him. "You owe me your life now sailor." he says over the man as he returns to the world of consciousness.
CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Edited to heal the sailor instead. Forgot the neg affinity thing...

Argan Midnight |

PLEASE tell me you meant INFLICT light wounds...
If you try a murderous command you would lose invisibility Eryan?

Eryan Duskwalker |

Heheh. Yea Eryan would never have healed you. I figure you mentioned how that sort of healing hurts you. Goodie could heal you though with the wand of infernal healing.

Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up* |

Kharn rushes over and tries to slice the triton next to Vlad.

DM Omen |

Argan spins in the air once, throwing the entire weight of his body into a deadly cut with his sabertooth saber. The blade lands deep in the neck of a triton, then Argan brings it back with a vicious rip, cutting almost completely through its neck. Vladimir takes his own opponent down, burying his falcon nearly a foot through a triton's collarbone. With a kick he frees his blade and sends the body into the water. Keeping up the strong streak, Kharn grabs a dolphin as it spins, getting a hand on its soft neck and completely shredding it open. Goodie really starts bringing down the hexes on their leader, him completely crippling under the offensive magic. Eryan does the noble thing, saving a sailor but nearly giving him a heart attack when the sailor hears an invisible man talk in infernal to him.
The sailors being focusing down the last two tritons, but they swerve and dip and dodge all the arrows and blades but one, which barely scratches one. Their leader finally gets off the back lines, charging Kargeld "You shall all perish for Mitra has seen the evil in your souls!" Two tridents pierce the flesh of Kargeld, but in his fury he doesn't even seem to notice the small wounds.

Argan mocks the creature's pitiful hope and moves to strike the leader with his second natural 20 in two posts, almost hitting the Triton's throat again. He is getting good at this!

Eryan Duskwalker |

Eryan moves towards the enemy leader and waits for the rest of his party and all the sailors to act before deciding what he will do next.
Eryan will cast Murderous Command DC16, becoming visible once again, putting terrible thoughts inside his mind. The true evil here is right beside you. Slay it quickly.
He will reach out and grab hold of the Triton and his trident, levitating him up and pulling him onto the boat. Eryan reappears standing over the Triton.
Heal: 1d20 ⇒ 4
"If he still lives I wish to heal and question him before he finally dies." Eryan holds the trident over his heart.

DM Omen |

Mid-round update
Argan leaves a nasty wound, cutting off a good deal of flesh around their leaders shoulder.
Ouch my save penalties: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 121d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
With Goodie's meddling the leader doesn't stand a chance against Eryan's magic. He turns with murderous eyes to his ally, screaming "You betrayed me!" He takes a strike, but his blow lacks strength and leaves a shallow wound. The final triton looks at him in horror, then says "They were all right, you are mad!" Then he flees, dipping under the water.
Their leader looks back up at you, his rage redoubled once he realizes what you did to him.
Still the party's turn.

Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up* |

Kharn yells at the sailor next to the captain, and waits for him to follow his orders before acting.
"Get out of the way fool! I need to get to the Fool!"
Holding action until the sailor follows his action.

Argan Midnight |

Also, the murderous command would take effect on the creature's turn, not in the middle of the caster's turn, I believe.

Goodie Thornmaple |

"You have a foul mouth, boy. I won't hear such filth from you."
Goodie Thornmaple casts Lipstitch on the leader (DC 17). (He needs to make save at -2 and take the lower of two rolls) The little grandmother continues to cackle to keep up the curses she has being laying down.

Vladamir Orlovsky |

Seeing the opening made by Kharn's words Vlad moves over and takes a swing at the leader.. 2 sorries here, first sorry Kharn but i have him smited and it would seem dumb to waste that, 2nd sorry but i cannot move my token while at work..
Attack Leader: 1d20 + 9 + 4 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 9 + 4 + 1 - 1 = 22
Damage: 2d4 + 7 + 3 + 3 ⇒ (4, 1) + 7 + 3 + 3 = 18
He will also attempt to reach and grab the leaders body before it sinks, if the blow killed him that is..

Argan Midnight |

We can always carry more equipment. ^_^

Argan Midnight |

Kharn smash!

Goodie Thornmaple |

Argan Midnight |

Ok now I'm feeling sad for him... So righteous... I hope he at least have some magic armor cause the others must be sinking by now...

Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up* |

Kharn sighs and rushes forward (dropping his torch overboard as he does so), and jumps into the sea to try, and claw the leader.
Attack w/PA: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

DM Omen |

There's the damage needed!
Locations: 1d7 ⇒ 41d7 ⇒ 1
Vlad leans dangerously far away from the boat, but he's rewarded for his efforts. The metal of his blade slices through the triton's stomach, then a moment later is followed by unholy fire ripping the wound further. Before he can react to the terrible wound, Kharn rushes over and claws him with a hooked hand, completely ripping his ear off along with a good portion of his cheek. The triton passes out from blood loss, beginning to sink but multiple arms grab him before he gets too far.
Combat over! Full XP for this scenario.
The sea is littered with dead and dying tritons as well as two dolphins. Apparently when they're not wearing armor, tritons float. After a few minutes of work (and a lot of getting wet on the sailors part) the tritons are brought aboard.
Sea shell and pearl holy symbol of Mitra (Appraise to know worth)
Sea shell armor (Appraise or craft(armor) to know more)
Masterwork trident x3
Heavy crossbow x3

Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up* |

Kharn climbs back onto the ship triumphant, and shakes himself off like a wet dog.
"So did anybody know how they found us?"

Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up* |

Kharn also picks up the armor and examines on how well it would work for him, or if would just have to sell it without getting a chance to use it.
Are these tritons anything close to a human, or would the armor be useless for humans to wear?
Appraise armor: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Appraise amulet: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

Argan Midnight |

Looking at our sheet I realize we should have killed the soldiers the previous day... Not many shinning stuff...
Appraise armor: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Appraise amulet: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
"Aren't we guided by Asmodeus? So are they guided by Mitra... I would guess some divine spell of the kind... Who knows how much power these sea creatures have, anyway..." He turns to the crew, analyzing the scene. "Is everyone ok? Has any of them escaped?"

DM Omen |

The seashell armor would work as a bone-breastplate, and is made for humanoids. However it is fragile, which means it shatters on a confirmed critical hit.
Kharn estimates the holy symbol to be worth about 100gp.
The captain spits. "Aye, one got away. But he seemed pissed at their leader here so I doubt he'll be a problem later." Kargeld examines his sailors. "Saved his ass you did. Good job Eryan."

Vladamir Orlovsky |

"I think the last one with the leader dove under the water.. Lemme see one of them heavy crossbows.. A trident as well if noone minds.." After all the gear is collected Vlad goes over to the leaders body and lift him up to eye level.. With the quickness he tears his throat out with his fangs and drink the lifeblood of the divine triton..
Was the leader dead dead? Because if not i would have waited till after questioning to do that.. Regardless im sure the crew find him slightly more scary now..

Kharn the Binder *Cleaned-Up* |

Kharn attempts healing without any training whatsoever.
Heal check (untrained): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
And he realizes that putting people back together just isn't his kind of job.

Argan Midnight |

"Better idea to answer your questions Kharn. Let's ask the leader! Can someone stabilize him?"
Seeing the crude attempt the Barbarian Ninja made, and adds. "Someone capable, I mean.

Argan Midnight |

"Of course he will be tied up." Argan looked up from his positions, already tying the man up. "But he's loosing too much blood, if you don't close his wounds he's going to die. Common Goodie, he has not paid enough for what he made, he still have stuff to tell us. If we just let him die he will have an easy escape." As ridiculous as that sounds...
DC 27 Escape artist or STR DC 23
Removing his equipment too.
